There are currently 85 International Organizations protected from search, lawsuits, customs law, financial disclosures, etc. named in Executive Orders stretching back to the passage of the International Organizations Immunity Act (IOIA) of 1945. Trump just recognized his own Board of Peace, so we should expect an 86th entry in 22 U.S.C. § 288 et seq.

Along with starting his own non-state sovereign entity, Trump has withdrawn from 66 International Organizations. Not all are covered under IOIA - but once the president withdraws the U.S. membership and money, they lose their immunities in the U.S. (unless otherwise covered by other laws and treaties). The International Cotton Advisory Committee enjoys total legal immunity - as if it were a nation-state with an embassy in Washington, DC. Its agents and their families and contractors can enter the country without being searched, without normal customs law applying, and they cannot be subject to spying that is now routinely performed on citizens of the United States by agents of our own government.
He has the very weapon the “Lizard People” have used against us since the end of World War Two to mask their frauds, their crimes, their machinations - and all I am seeing online is people blaming Trump of being a Lizard Man! WTF! If he were, would he even need his own sovereign International Organization? He has 76 to choose from - Bill Clinton granted 20 new organizations immunities, including the World Trade Organization (in April of 1997 with Executive Order 13042). Rather, this Board of Peace is Trump’s instrument to practice statecraft at the level all global parties act.

DoS manages both assessed contributions (mandatory dues based on formulas like capacity-to-pay scales) and voluntary contributions (pledges for specific programs).
Funds are appropriated by Congress via the annual State-Foreign Operations (SFOPS) bill, under accounts like “Contributions to International Organizations” (CIO) and “International Organizations and Conferences.”
What is Trump’s SFOPS CIO budget looking like for 2026?
The Trump Administration’s FY2026 budget request for CIO is $263.8 million. This request totals 83% less than the FY2025 pre-rescission funding level of $1.54 billion (see “Rescissions and Selected Payments” for more information). The budget request notes that CIO funding was “to support [IOs] that make America safer and more secure.” These include the International Atomic Energy Agency, International Civil Aviation Organization, and International Telecommunications Union, among others. The request states that any additional funding would depend on the outcome of the Administration’s pending review of U.S. participation in and funding of IOs. The Administration did not request any FY2026 funding for the CIPA account to pay U.S. assessments to UN peacekeeping, citing “ongoing mission failures” and “disproportionately high” U.S. assessments. For FY2025, Congress appropriated $1.23 billion to CIPA in pre-rescission funding.
For nearly a decade, both the UN regular and peacekeeping budgets have periodically experienced funding shortfalls, including a “liquidity crisis” the UNSG has attributed to delayed or nonpayments from certain UN members (primarily the United States and at times China). In 2019 and 2022, the General Assembly adopted several budgeting reforms; however, liquidity issues remain. In May and October 2025, the UNSG stated that the United Nations will be on a “path to bankruptcy” if UN members do not pay their dues in full and on time. He proposed cuts to UN staff, the aforementioned reductions to UN peacekeeping, and additional financial reforms. Some of these proposals are currently being considered by the General Assembly.

It shouldn’t be normal to feel the need to have a firearm on your person as you go grocery shopping or commute to work, but in some communities it’s the sane and prudent thing to do. One could even linger in the frozen foods aisle and chat with a neighbor while so-equipped, without it being at top of mind.
One can never project where a threat will manifest itself. Our former primary residence was in the middle of nowhere, with virtually ZERO crime. Gas station just down the street last year had an armed robbery.
No arguments there. Our family is CC permit holders and we often carry in the grocery store and all around town. However, that was not the case with the guy killed in MN.
He went to a protest to interfere with law enforcement while armed. That’s WAY different than going to the grocery store and minding your own business, chatting with a neighbor in the aisles.
If you are a CC permit holder, you’re supposed to carry your ID and your permit while you conceal carry. Also, you’re never supposed to do anything illegal while you’re carrying, such as interfere with federal law enforcement. The fact that this guy was not carrying his normal ID NOR his CC permit while doing all this tells us he knew darn well he was up to no good from the beginning. He did things this way on purpose, knowing he was in the wrong to behave that way while carrying or at all.
My question is, why? Did he drink some kool aid propaganda and feel all het up and emotional about the cause, intentionally going to be a martyr, possibly even to make concealed carry permit holders look bad, or interfere with 2A somehow?
Was he a paid protestor, as some of them are? They’ve been interviewed on camera and admitted they are getting paid to protest.
Normal, sane concealed carry permit holders are very law abiding people and we know not to do what he did. If we want to go to a march or protest, like March for Life or Jan6, we leave the firearms at home.
Can’t answer all your questions, and I’m generally in agreement with your points & questions. The Governor said I can Constitutional Carry so I do, but not at schools, govt. buildings, nor in crowds (my decision), in UT.
In AZ, it was different though (a few years back at least). A GREAT number of Open carry folks visibly carrying. Got to the point, where you barely noticed it. A guy with his wife, kids, shopping at Wallyworld or Smith’s with a loaded glock and two mags, totally open carry. Construction guys going into the 7-11 with revolvers or pistols on their hips–daily. Visited family in Cali (ZERO guns visible), drove back to AZ and at Quartzite (a few miles from Cali) the guy working on the Circle-K had the same full glock rig with extra magazines, open/external carry.
No idea what’s going on in MN, other than the generally tainted media? I do know though that those Border Patrol officers/veterans are bad ass. They have more experience with gunfights, drug dealers, coyotes than a vast majority of the U.S. military.

For me, it’s not about him carrying. It’s about him interfering with law enforcement while doing so. That’s just something you don’t do. Don’t fight cops in the streets. Fight them in court.
The initial LEO action there was to use full force to slam a protester to the ground. She was not engaging the LEO action he went towards her full on and slammed her. Alex then tried to help her up and the both of them were sprayed in the face with pepper spray. It was while he was pulling her up that they grabbed him.
The very first question is why was an American citizen rushed and slammed to the ground. Why was a second also assaulted for helping her up.
After they started with Alex one of the LEO took the weapon then turned and left. I believe he might have discharged that weapon causing the other LEO to and shoot Alex front and back.
Common sense says you don’t show up at that party with a weapon. However it’s a slippery slope to decide Americans cannot 2A weapons because they vote differently that who typically carries.
My question is what the hell was going on that had those LEO in that state of mind. What there called for lethal force. Two women on the sidewalk nowhere near anyone being apprehended by LEO were rushed on. The LEO went to them and engaged. Alex was filming and was helping the woman up after she was slammed down.
If what ICE and border patrol is so bad they “need” to use lethal force against observers and protesters to get the camera footage this country is in bad shape. It’s nasty “liberals” now, who will it be next week.
If our federal LEO cannot operate where people are blowing whistles, they need more training.
Republicans will likely loose the midterms big time and all the Blackwater spinoffs contracting with DHS, ICE and BC, will have gained a great deal of experience tracking people down digitally and otherwise. New cars will have kill switches, maybe our credit cards and banks will also, by then.
How did he interfere? He got mixed up in law enforcement action which he had no business doing. When you see someone being detained by police or police doing anything in general, do you walk over there and get in the middle of it?
Mind ya business, let this settle out in court. Don’t wrestle with police, especially while you are armed. That never ends well.
While I respect your opinion, mine is that there doesn’t seem to be any legal interference with law enforcement that occurred here…which is something that could shift if there is more evidence to support this as other facts may emerge…and that, regardless, firing off multiple shots in the span of 5 seconds and killing this person was not the right action.
You kinda already have. The message is clear - carry a gun and risk being shot. Even if you don’t have a gun, as he didn’t when he was shot. Feeling lucky?
This incident is one reason why I’m not arguing with Americans over on the Neil thread. Americans are ganging up to slag off the UK (as they do every country in the world) while executions by “LEO” (as you respectfully call them) on the streets are going on in yours. Just admit we’re all screwed. You’re not a beautiful bastion of freedom and democracy.
