I cal remember not so long ago when people discussing various conservative ( likely to vote for Trump) adjacent subjects in social media groups were en masse kicked off online platforms.
I can remember in the 8 years preceding that that veterans, cops, hunters, preppers, gardeners, homeschoolers, church goers, and various other groups were labeled as possible terrorists.
Any were debanked, and had their businesses removed from internet commerce hosting platforms, and were unable to use PayPal, or process credit cards.
This issue is right up against that for me. Even though these protesters likely vote differently we cannot erode our constitutional rights over it. There is plenty of time to sort the immigrants without tossing the constitution out with them.

From the other side of the world, trying to understand the whole Minnesota thing, is this organised protests a la No Kings or is it something else?
Definitely organized, with a subset of Media that hates Trump, spinning up mentally deranged people with TDS. There is zero organic about these “small” protests. In my new home town, very very conservative. The press focused on a local protest, and had photos and videos of the “crowd”. Someone in the local republican club took a photo showing a wide angle shot of the crowd. Couple of dozen people… that was it. Perspective is everything.

If we could only grasp that it’s possible for more than one thing to be true at the same time.
Like maybe some ICE agents are just trying to do their job and need more support…AND (at least some of them) are also doing illegal things and acting like a-holes.
Like maybe it’s true that there’s a playbook for protesters and lots of funding and organizing behind what’s going on in MN that most of the general public has no clue about…AND that there are plenty of protesters who are also not aware of any of that and just think their intentions are good. (Oh and no doubt that some protesters are also doing illegal things and acting like a-holes, too.)
Like maybe there is no “left” and there is no “right”…that this ship sailed a long time ago (or maybe never really was and it’s part of this whole illusion?)…AND yet some people still want to believe this is the case with all their might and are sticking to sides and the blame game.
This is all about stripping you of your freedom. Don’t kid yourself that it’s about anything else. Don’t let yourself get tangled up in the snare that the darker forces have created just for their sheer delight and grand scheme. The “he said/she said” is exactly what evil lives for.
Let’s not lose sight that this is a spiritual battle for our very souls. I don’t mean a religious one or anything to do with a particular spiritual perspective. I mean for humanity. That doesn’t mean that there is no need to look at and deal with any of the material facts here. It just means there is a bigger picture that we miss when it’s only about the individual.
I am just seeing evil at every turn as this all plays out. This is all fourth turning stuff, so there should be no surprises…but it’s easy to lose sight of the reality.
Just what I woke up with this morning…

I get why they are wearing masks. The “protesters” are doxing the shit out of them and families are being threatned.
