I can understand those conducting and investigation would not want evidence compromised through release. What kind of an investigation is going on? The perpetrator is dead. The only possible reason to withold would be to investigate an inside job. But the FBI let everyone who should have been interrogated go home less than 2 hours after the attempted assassination. Therefore the logic points toward the FBI hoovering up all the evidence, pigeon-holing it, and allowing only"authorized" dribbles of information. Just like happened with the Kennedy assassinations. According to Cheatly, the former SS Director, a full report will be available in two months. That will be a clean sponged version with none of the evidence. Then some evidence will come up lost or classified for no justifiable reason. This was an attempted political assassination with a public right to know.
Conclusion: The FBI is proving to be as corrupt as the people they go after.
