Very excited to see the series and look to find a peaceful way forward.
I think the most difficult part will be when the collapse is actually happening, how to not make it worse by “losing our humanity”.
Can we humans leave a dying system to die without destroying what’s in our reach, in our control?
I believe in our history the pillage of towns started by the invading force, but were also carried out by locals.

Meanwhile, I don’t know what to make of Michael Yon. Interesting and Strange Bloke. He’s been through so much and travelled so widely that there’s obviously more there than meets the Eye. Almost Supernatural?
Who eats a big bowl of Japanese Matcha ice cream before starting a 40 day Water & Salt hardcore Fast?
In my mind, that’s akin to strapping on a parachute and then chugging a pitcher of beer and letting out a loud belch before jumping out of the plane at night over North Vietnamese territory…. Good Lord….

I heard the first few minutes of that podcast. He said he had a bite of ice cream. Perhaps big bowl is projection on your part, however, I will admit I am skeptical that he settled for merely a bite.
Catherine Austin Fitts answered this question. She once asked an audience of average people if they were willing to sacrifice some of their portfolio gains to eliminate organized crime. The answer was a resounding NO.
The American people have lost their moral compass. Corruption at the top is nothing new - but a populace that goes along to get along is doomed. 80% took the jabs. We are too soft, too lazy, too entitled to stop this.

For those not in America, I see this series just as relevant to all other countries, especially if you live in a ‘western values’ style country.
I used to say Australia was a decade behind America in trends and ideas, in recent times more like a few years. The DEI wave a prime example of a speedy intergration down under.
I do wonder if the DEI concept was directly crafted to inject childless, fembots into spheres of influence, just so they can do the most damage to the young and innocent. I believe a woman has been fundamentally broken if they were not able to overcome the social programming to be ‘an independent, career woman that dont need no man’ the eviler twin to the hyper lesbian wave (at least they really love their masculine dogs and exotic cats). From the view of someone in their mid 30’s, that trend seems to have hit its peak with my peer group. Alot already regretting their choices and believing it was only them to blame. I mostly fear for the children of mothers who resent their husbands. What a dangerous place to grow up.
I do find it interesting that the concept of BLM didnt really resonate here with most Australians, so much so that politicians dropped that vector a few years ago and now we’re seeing ‘Welcome to country’ phrases slowly being reduced and openly ridiculed by anyone not in a government controlled institution. This would be my main example of how things have changed peacefully. It took a few prominent civilians caught on camera being defiant and the concept butting up against the tribalism around ANZAC Day to really put a wet blanket on it.
So there are peaceful solutions for some problems that don’t involve personal pain. Very few, but they are there.
With ‘The City of London’ and the ‘American Superpower’ in some kind of power tussle over controlling the future direction of geopolitics and control mechanisms.. there’s no time like the present to quietly and deterministically rebuild the lay person into someone worth being instead of another drone to the slaver system.
And in my humble opinion, the most bang for buck would be in building up the image of the family home to be seen as the most valuable thing to work on in this life time.

That photo with the children in the masks and the adults not, makes me very angry. Teaching children at an early age that some people are more special than others. “Get used to it kids!”

I would LOVE to see how the slope of that Reality line is affected by Tax Bracket.
Michael Yon recently said that where he was born and raised, Winter Haven, Florida is the exact same latitude as Mt. Everest. He said that when he was trekking near Mt. Everest in Nepal decades ago that it felt “just like being in Florida, except for those big mountains.”
I’ve traveled in Tibet, and it didn’t resemble the beaches in Florida AT ALL….
Just days before the recent Landslide/ Flood in Nepal, Michael Yon had a horrific vision of a devastating dam collapse.
He said that when he was in the Special Forces that he was trained to collapse dams in order to wreak havoc on poor innocent people for narrow political ends. Some farming village that has existed peacefully for thousands of years gets washed away in seconds because of some American bloke who can’t resist Japanese Matcha ice cream? True story…
Are we past the point of no return? Sadly, yes we are. The root cause here is centralisation of top down power (whether it be in the hands of government or someone higher and less visible is irrelevant). The good ship ‘decent society’ has been holed and (quoting Titanic designer Andrews) ‘she must surely sink’.
Our wise rulers are a parasitic cancer that must, inevitably, ‘kill the host’.
I am concentrating on helping those close to me, not saving civilisation.

I’ve been hearing this theory a lot in regard to the fact that the U.S. government needs to reduce interest on its debt, and it needs (a lot more) buyers of that debt at low interest rates:
- Trade long-term Treasuries (interest rates primarily set by market forces) for short-term Treasuries (interest rates controlled by the Federal Reserve). But this presents the problem that nobody would voluntarily purchase this short-term paper at interest rates below (what would be) market value.
- Link the short-term Treasuries to stable-coins (this was done in the GENIUS act). The next problem is that nobody would willingly purchase stable-coins (that pay no interest to the holder; only the issuer gets to keep the interest from the linked Treasuries - incentivizing issuers of stable-coins).
- Create a financial crisis that brings panic and massive pressure on Americans (actually, anyone with an account in an American bank) to adopt the stable-coins as the new currency.
Here’s the nut of the theory: The recent reports of AI agents escaping their ‘sandboxes’ during testing and hacking into private, secured websites is to prepare Americans for an impending massive AI attack that wipes out all bank accounts. The government can claim that it was an uncontrolled, AI-generated attack for which nobody was directly responsible (Wuhan wet market plausible deniability). Then it could offer to make everyone whole, with the caveat that they accept some new stable-coin in place of the dollars that disappeared. Instant total surveillance state if this takes place. Well, there will always be a black market, but it will be orders of magnitude more difficult to operate in that space if this occurs. Also, imagine the behavior of the Epstein Class once they have total life-or-death control over everyone and zero fear of punishment.

I really wish I could remember the source of this. Perhaps a guest on the Tom Woods podcast well over a decade ago. Former FBI guy. I think this was in the wake of the 2013 federal shutdown and furlough. The question was “So when does it all fall apart?” and his answer was when various governments are too broke to pay their enforcers: law enforcement, yes, but also tax and regulatory agencies. When those people walk out en masse, it’s over.
Listening to Robert Malone on Tommy Carriagan’s recent podcast ( Homesteading Futurism | Dr. Robert Malone (TPC #2,130) ), they discuss some fairly recent massive changes in our society that would have seemed impossible just a few decades ago. Most notably, the fall of network news as a widely trusted source, and its replacement with various on-line sources. So maybe there is hope for a peaceful turn-around. However, I can also think of forty trillion reasons we’re headed for real trouble.
Anyway, this is going to be a great series, and I can’t wait for next week’s installment.
