Economic Warnings, Nuclear Resurgence, COVID Cancer, and Irish Electoral Woes

There is something going on regarding mortality since 2020. When you look at excess mortality, there is a strong temporal correlation with when the vaccines were first administered to the public on a large scale. There is a peak close to the start of the pandemic but it was nothing like what came later after the vaccine roll out.

This data must be preserved so that future non-compromised scientists can analyze it and make objective determinations. I think that it is a reasonable hypothesis that excess deaths after December 2020 are a combination of SARS COV-2 and vaccine related injury/death. I hope to eventually see this parsed out. I also wonder how many people died of despair. How many teenagers overdosed on an opiate because their social life was destroyed and they turned to drugs?

Same here. Turbo-cancers from Marine TBS classmates (Alpha 1-80) who were jabbed. In their late sixties, perfectly healthy then less than a month (one in seven days, another twelve days) dead.

There are individual dickheads in every generation. My boomer peers do tend to either Fox News and chill or CNN and chill and stop learning unless it’s craft beers, golf, etc. I do envy those with grand kids. My dad was one of three in his platoon who lived during Iwo Jima. He lied to the Marine Corps recruiter and enlisted at 16. Worked sun up to sundown at twelve because his Dad died. He did some shit. One thing he did for a snot nosed, smart ass 17 year old was make him take a day off of school, drop him in front of a recruiter, and said, “He wants to be a cook.” That helped a lot to de-boomer the 17 year old.

I wish that I could compare and contrast a small sample of 18 to 25 year-olds from 1940 with a group from 2018 (remove Covid variables).

ANTIFA terrorists have been on the news a lot. They do not appear to be resilient or tough. They remind me of a chihuahua acting tough, and barking at a German Shepherd. The moment they get checked, they break down crying, whimpering out leftist slogans, and beg for help from their peers. It is obvious to me that they act tough only because they have not seen much pushback when they behave badly.

The US military has a bit of a problem on their hands. Only 77% of the youth today can meet all of the minimum standards for joining the military. I wonder how many of them could jump off the boats at Normandy?

The battle of Athens, TN (1946) was carried out by men that fought in WW2. Their enemy was corrupt law enforcement officers. The rebels acquired arms at a National Guard armory prevent election fraud. These “rebels” had spent many years fighting the Axis. WW2 had taught them how to fight and win.

I highly doubt that ANTIFA terrorists would last more that a few minutes against the rebels of Athens, TN in 1946. Men like your dad are rare in 2025. Growing up during the great depression and fighting in WW2 required resilience that the youth of today don’t have. You are lucky to have a dad like that because his firm discipline prevented you from finding too much trouble.

Not only cancers, but also including other misc diseases. Our primary residence is in a moderate size campground. Spring 2023, we and others met with management team to develop a list of all that had passed from 1/2020. It was an overwhelming list of members that had passed. 2-3 was a typical year. IRC, the list was 32 people long in two year. Five more passed that year… and it slowed down for a bit… but it’s picking back up again :frowning:

Very amused at the thought of the “good” boomer passing on knowledge to the younger generations who think boomers can’t possibly teach them anything since they’re clearly too stoooopid. “OK, Boomer. ( pat pat pat on the head like a sad old dog)”

Well if I recall a story by Willie the Shake. They are trained to demand a “pound of flesh”. Seems inflation has effected that formula and today 68,000 pounds of flesh is required.

I wonder how many of these sorts of stories will be revealed. Note that this is just one specific case. Like roaches, you can be very certain that it isn’t alone:

(10m24s)

AI Summary (human verified):

Title: Maine Spent $766K on Noncitizen Long-Term Care

Lead: The video claims Maine used $766,000 in public funds for long-term care of an undocumented immigrant through a non-competitive contract, while refusing to release related data.

Body:
• Maine’s Department of Health and Human Services approved a $766,000 contract for a noncitizen’s care at Bedside Manor from 2022 to 2027, citing lack of alternative facilities.
• The individual was ineligible for Medicaid or Medicare due to immigration status, and the state did not issue a request for proposals.
• The speaker asserts that foreign-born noncitizens have an 18.5% poverty rate in the U.S., nearly double that of native-born citizens, and argues this justifies restricting immigration.

I have never heard of Freedom Munitions before. I clicked on the link and saw a box of “X-Treme bullets”. I have purchased and used these bullets in rifle and handgun cartridges.

The X-Treme bullets are plated and have given me no problems at the range. I have used the 110 grain 0.308" in many 300 AAC cartridges. I don’t use them in the higher power stuff because of the powders that I keep on hand.

I recommend people have the ability to reload at least 1 rifle and 1 handgun cartridge. If you can hand load both with the same bullet, you can greatly simplify your life.

I have focused most of my reloading efforts on 30 caliber rifles and the 0.452" flavors (45 Auto, Bushmaster 450, 45 Colt, and 454 Casull). You can use Lil’Gun powder in the 300 AAC, 45 Colt (Ruger/TC only), and 454 Casull.

I am now in the process of figuring out a way to anneal brass, work/convert it into a simple jacket, and swage bullets.

That’s not what the “OK, Boomer” meme needs. Having been on alt-tech during the Groyper wars when the “OK, Boomer” meme first went viral, it has to do with the almost malicious cluelessness of the Boomer generation to the plight of GenZ. Its a retort to the “why not pull yourself up by the bootstraps like I did” line. It doesn’t mean they think Boomers are stupid. It means they think Boomers are maliciously selfish and clueless about how modern “trickle down economics / world is flat / modern monetary policy” economy that Boomers embraced has destroyed any hope of home ownership, family formation, or even a living wage job for the younger generations.

Alas, Chris is one of the few podcasters that actually “gets” the meme.

why 110gr? Are you running subsonic? I started with 220, and they are just too big, and had trouble feeding. I need a smaller bullet, but haven’t decided what wt

The exact opposite. The 110 grains go fast in the 300 AAC. Berry’s Bullets have some 220 grain that have been good to me. I also have some Hornady Sub-X .308" bullets that work well.

I use both the Hornady book and Hodgdon’s website for load data. The CFE BLK paired with the 110 grain will give about 2,200 to 2,300 fps from a 300 AAC.

What’s up with Affordable American Ammo requiring an email verification to browse? I am not aware of any other sellers that do that.

I have no idea but I have guesses. California has pulled a bunch bullshit regarding regulating internet and goods/services that the other 49 states use. I have also experienced nonsense when going to the Cabelas near Gary, IN asking me for a FOID card when buying bullets. I was not buying cartridges. When I challenged them on it and ask them why they are enforcing Illinois law in Indiana, they gave me a bullshit story about people buying stuff there and taking it across the border. I had to show them my Ohio ID to prove that I was not taking the purchase into Illinois.

I wish Trump would put his boot up their collective ass and ban the import of any “California compliant” goods into the USA. Tell them they have to make it domestically and then flex on them with the Supremacy clause and commerce clause.

I would tell California to go eat a bag of dicks when they pull their bullshit. The California CARB with cars has made car prices needlessly more expensive. I wish Trump would point out the Wickard vs. Filburn SCOTUS case law and tell them to go fuck themselves.

How stooopid of me.

Like many fad phrases… it did evolve (devolve?) into a generalized smear. Just one example… I was OK Boomered to roomwide laughter for suggesting the ability to read a paper map could be useful in a pinch.

Speaking of Covid Cancer…

Annealing brass was a benchrest phenom. IMHO not worth the effort.
For non competition loading I throw away when they split necks. Sounds awful, however,
