Scheesch PNW-J, I recall paying $300/year when I first signed up in 2008. I think you had the option of $30.00/mo or $360.00/yr.
So I did some deep math and opted for the 300/year and worked things out on logic that there was no way I could NOT afford to spend $.8219 cents per day for the information that would require me to spend HOURS each day to acquire. Toss in the invaluable data provided by other members on the site and the decision was a barn burnin steal.
Sixteen years later and you are sniveling about the same price??? What about inflation? Maybe it’s because Chris understands how to use Hedonics to provide increasing content at the same low price!!

Hollywood movies are so bad and expensive, might aswell skip them. Easily have that 300$ there(along other bad quality entertainment that there is no time and energy to consume, to cut those overpriced subscriptions).
2008 or so might aswell still go to disneyland or see Iron man or Transformers movie in actual theater.

Wow, that was an ignorant post. I have never complained at all about paying my $300.00. You’ve grossly misinterpreted what I’ve said. In fact, my first comment about how much is enough wasn’t even about money. I was sick of getting this pushed on us, and particularly when I was listening in the shower and couldn’t even lazily click by it. Then Chris responded…
Agreed that $300.00 is a great value, but it is not free. I take exception to the thought that Chris is our “free” information donkey. To reiterate, I value Chris and the wisdom and experience of the PP Tribe. That said, our participation is not free.
Out here in the free content zone it certainly is. I create both free and paid content. How you engage is entirely up to you.
