I get that and understand your point. I don’t think you will ever hear anyone admit that or their name mentioned. Admitting or being called out that you are wanting to trigger Armageddon so the Messiah can make his return, is akin to admitting you like Alex Jones.

This is what we need to pay careful attention too because if Israel is taking an ass whipping from Iran, Israel may go nuclear which is something i’m pretty sure Washington is concerned could happen.
That would confirm what many knew but never admitted, that Israel had Nukes. If nukes are dropped on Iran, the Dems will surely win the midterms, Trump will be removed from Office and will likely be sent to jail for starting this mess.

It’s not the tattoos that scare me. It’s his November, 2024 interview where he said he’s sick of NEO cons and forever wars, etc then acts like a boy scout troop leader to his flags in Quantico and has that smug, “ain’t I bitchin? Hey, war is hell,” arrogance treating everyone like they can’t as brilliant. A pom-pom princess isn’t what we need.
Here’s my theory on the Armageddon for Jesus narrative:
Since Obama, the military has been a social experiment. EVERY enlisted man and woman from bootcamp on have been forced to “embrace” [insert mental deficiency here]. Promotions have been based on accepting that men can have babies; gender affirmation celebration; “Happy Pride Summer”; over emphasizing you’re a racist if you’re white-(USNA had fifty person “diversity teams” where only the white guys had to admit they had white privilege or NOT graduate); guys pretending to be chicks really are and magnifying their “courage” for their transgendered selves; mis-gender violations; and on and on.
Who stays in that environment if they haven’t “reached Greenland” (ten years of active service) and they just can’t pretend well enough to get promoted? Only the folks who truly believe in and “celebrate” and make friends with all the leather dog sex mask wearers; the dudes in women’s uniforms; the anti-white privilege worshipers; cross dressing drag queens onboard ship (one ship’c CO actually had a drag celebration on her ship during one of the “pride summers”), ad infinitum.
The officers past Greenland will ALL do whatever the current administration tells them and instantly act like they’ve always stood for that, literally ONE day after praising transgendered troops. They all have mortgages, car loans, college loans for their kids; credit card debt, etc so not sticking their noses up the current administration’s ass means loss of income.
The current set of staff NCO’s on the other hand, almost all who drink and believe in the transgender, gay marriage, gender queer, preferred pronoun bullshit are still on active duty AND THEY ARE PISSED that Pete got rid of their transgendered pals and Pete has focused on killing people and breaking things (one of the few things I agree with Pete on).
So what do the angry staff NCO’s do? Take one dipshit 2nd lieutenant’s base theater lecture about Armageddon, and send letters to an organization that hhhhhhhhaaaaaates the military but pretends to really like it. Tell the website that lots of officers are telling them they’re fighting Iran to hasten the return of Jesus so you and I light our hair on fire with a fake story. It “supports” our dislike over going to war for Israel which is why I fell for it at first. It also supports our outrage over Trump and Congress ignoring their constitutional duties and severely weakening our ability to actually defend ourselves due to massive weapon inventory depletions we gave to Ukraine and Israel (something Brandon actually did MUCH more than Trump).
I fell for the Armageddon story like a big dog. But after a while something about it didn’t smell right when everybody who hates Trump for whatever good or bad reason, started repeating the story as if it was truth just based on the one email and the one website. Then they piled on alarming everyone about Pete’s weekly Bible study and tattoos as more “proof.” I have no problem with Bible studies nor with tattoos he probably got overseas after getting drunk on liberty call. His obvious inability to lead an organization any larger than a battalion definitely is a problem.
The above seems a lot more probable than ALL the officers in the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force who embraced Colonel Leather Dog Face Sex Mask five minutes ago are all now born again preachers for Jesus. I kinda don’t think so. That’s why until I see evidence to the contrary beyond a disgruntled email to a website, that’s my opinion and I’m sticking to it.

Since you served in the military I will acknowledge your views. That said, this world is filled with crazy ass motherf#ckers who will believe all kinds of shit.
As an aside, there was a family where the mother killed her entire family and then committed suicide. Why would she do that? It turns out she was a Jehovah’s Witness who believed what she learned in the Watchtower that once you die, you will wake up in an earthly paradise. She took that to heart. I happen to have friends who are JW’s. Nice but wacky people.
So my point is, once religion enters a person’s core beliefs and if those beliefs happen to be extreme, then their views will likely reflect that. So I don’t dismiss the idea that some higher ups in the Armed Forces believe a come to Jesus moment and trying to make it happen.
It’s a nutty world, filled with its share of nutty people.

I can’t agree more.
Yeah, I take Larry with a grain but not that much of a grain. He’s very wrong about the New Jersey firing into Lebanon before the Marine barracks bombing, 23 October, 1983. The New Jersey didn’t fire until December, 1983. I know. I was flying away from her at about one mile at 500 feet during her first salvo. It was loud and air shaky.
I had a big to do with him about that and he still says it backwards. There was a destroyer the previous September that fired into the hills east of Beirut because Nabbi Berry fired at the Marines at the airport. But firing a few times at Amal for taking pot shots at the Marines at the airport for several months without being able to return fire (thanks to Don Rumsfeld) is why the Navy finally shot back. Larry and Doug MacGregor both get that wrong and it makes their other brilliant analysis and experience lose credibility.

I know @cmartenson reads Coffee and Covid, as do I, but lately Jeff has gone… full on “trust the plan”. Yesterday he claimed that Iran was receiving NO WEAPONS or ADVISORS FROM ANYONE. That shocked me. Uh, what about Russia and China?
I gotta ask if Jeff has become part of the propaganda engine. Makes me sad, because he’s been so solid on Covid. But I’m seeing the same thing coming from Robert Malone on X.
