Let’s face it, anyone signing up since (say) Vietnam hasn’t signed up to defend the nation. They have signed up to go overseas and smash poor people - and for money, medals and nice pensions. Plus the thrill of it. And you all enable this, in so many ways, such as whacking off the military at every opportunity.
So don’t claim that none of you have had any part in the wars that Lindsey supported. Or what? The wars waged themselves did they? With robots built in a factory by nobody?
A lot of you have played your part in supporting and “manifesting” (and, in some cases, committing) the violence that Lindsey supported. Indeed, some of you literally did it. So spare us your “Lindsey Graham hate” because you were part of how it happened.
If you are among the 80% of Americans that believe 9/11 was committed by a bunch of Muslim terrorists you may well have signed up to defend America. The globalist PR machine is pretty powerful.
Even if we take the 9/11 story at face value, did the Muslim hijackers board the planes in Iraq or Afghan? They didn’t, did they? So how does that translate to bombing those countries in order to stop another 9/11?
Plus that doesn’t get away from the fact that you are all part of this by continued military worship. From before 9/11 and continuously until now. One way or another, you’re part of how Lindsey’s fantasies get fulfilled. Do you not see that?
Plus, most people in the military now signed up in the last, what, 10 years? 9/11 is 25 years ago. Most people who are in now, surely signed up in the Afghan era. After, what, seeing what a high watermark of morality and success that was? Do me a favour.
I agree that our war machine is immoral and unnecessary.
My point was that much of the US population has been brainwashed into believing that Iran is evil, so was Assad, so is Putin, etc. These are all threats that we must prepare for. In reality all of it is manufactured propaganda to keep the arms manufacturers fed and to keep money flowing to the international bankers. All wars are banker wars and always have been.
Even though the majority of Americans do not support the Iran war, many of those still think Iran is bad, they just don’t think this war was a good idea.

I still think a substantial percentage of people, especially in the MAGA dogma crowd that think this war is a good thing. I just had a conversation today with someone pointing out how gas prices have come way down, and Iran is a destroyed country.
I listened to Ted Postal earlier on Coffee and a Mike. Even he couldn’t resist/felt he had to do (in case 300m people come after him) the whole “land acknowledgement” thing of whacking off the people in the military.
He even had this narrative about people from the south signing up out of their love of the country and its constitution. Dude, I’d wager a decent number sign up because the southern states skew being poor as fck. But let’s make up a comfier narrative that suits our personal BS. Also, I bet most of them have never read the constitution.

Yes, Saddam Hussein tried selling oil in Euros. Gaddafi still sold in dollars but he created a gold backed currency to be used by African countries that were using the French african franc. That’s why France spearheaded his overthrow. Syria didn’t sell oil so your argument fall apart there. However, they, along with Libya and Iraq were on the famous list of 7 countries that Bush the lesser created.

Alpha decay (the emission of a helium nucleus by a larger nucleus) is a common decay mode for many long-lived but slightly radioactive naturally occurring elements, including the most abundant isotopes of uranium and thorium. A nucleus of one of these spits out an alpha particle, which bangs around a moment and picks up a couple of electrons, then settles down to be a stable helium atom. Along with Graham’s suspicious travel timeline mentioned in several other posts in this thread, this would go a long way towards explaining Trump’s recent concern about an Iranian hit on him. Now the question is, could Iran and Russia have been working together on first a Graham hit, then on follow-up hits on various key US officeholders?
I would really, really like to see a solidly sourced Graham travel itinerary for his recent trip. It’s just the sort of thing that a good reporter would be able to dig out – which of course means that it will never come to light, even if it would eliminate the “killed in a Ukrainian drone factory strike” theory. Either it’s true and will be buried, or it’s false and will keep some of us chasing phantoms; either way, it is more convenient for TPTB to keep it quiet.
Onward to Monday and another round of “What fresh hell is this?”
