So It's Back To First Principles (Part 1)

RedRanAmber, oxymoron was ‘entered’ into the chat by your good self, when you typed ‘cool as all Hell’.
Here’s a gunshot, experienced by humans, on 13 July.
I’ve sent copies to friends in Australia, Brazil, and Sweden.

Once I looked for how we hear.

Once the vibrations cause the fluid inside the cochlea to ripple, a traveling wave forms along the basilar membrane. Hair cells—sensory cells sitting on top of the basilar membrane—ride the wave. Hair cells near the wide end of the snail-shaped cochlea detect higher-pitched sounds, such as an infant crying. Those closer to the center detect lower-pitched sounds, such as a large dog barking.

This article is not accurate. It does not explain the wide range of magnitude from almost inaudible to painful. There is an active force feedback to these hair cells. They always resonate with the same amplitude. Should they resonate with higher amplitude, the feedback force compensates it.

Hearing voices in the high frequencies: What your cell phone isn’t telling you

A lot of really interesting things in this article! Go Team PeakGPT!!! :sunglasses::saluting_face:

Wait a second. There is a difference between cell phone calls and recorded audio by the phone. Also there is a difference between traditional call over the cell network and VOIP.

Celular network uses some standardized audio compression. As I know it depends on the spoken language.

Firstly, if ‘this’ is “incredibly deceptive”, then, by your own definition, ‘this’ is “credibly undeceptive”, otherwise known as ‘true’.
Secondly, RedRanAmber, this sound certainly was a gunshot, because I’ve had years of experience shooting guns. Do you, also, have years of experience shooting guns? If so, please describe your guns experience.
Finally, you don’t know whether civilians on the showgrounds reacted, but I’ve sent you a .mp4 showing human reactions. In Dayve’s video there is clearly one visual reaction to a gunshot.

I would offer Oxymoron has been present in the chat long before now, but still, this seems trivial!

Thank you, this is exactly something I’m looking for in terms of potential extra shots. Audio, video, and clearly this is from RSBN, with verifiable footage to now roll through for context and verification!

A very good point, thank you, and I do see now how the article seems to relate to cellular call audio instead of recorded audio, which I hadn’t noticed before. Yes, probably a case of investigator bias on my part, but that’s exactly why I’m glad to have such a group willing to point out my oversights and mistakes!

I think these were not gunshots, just the agents pushed that lectern when they stood up.

Perhaps it would be better to watch the NTD version, which is closer up, and you can clearly see and hear those sounds when USSS bumps the podium microphone. The RSBN reporter simply thought it sounded like gunshots as the sound came through the loudspeakers the actual shots came through. I should also note that those who were in the crowd west of the stage who thought they heard gunshots coming from the water tower or the trees east of it also heard shots through those same speakers, the left one being generally in line with the water tower.

Remember the right side booster was already down.

Damn good point! You are spot on. Thanks for sharing that point.

Maybe you also saw it’s from #IAMJOHNCULLON.

As I thought, it didn’t really sound quite like a shot to me either but to actually have a clip where you could see and hear people reacting to things was nice. Also in the heat of the moment people would naturally be jumpy, and easily mistake where things are happening or sounds are coming from.

What specifically from Cullen, that shots from the water tower or trees theory, or him pointing out the sounds coming from the speakers, which were still both functioning during the initial shots? I don’t recall him making the latter statement. He doesn’t seem examine the evidence that deeply, or reason through alternative explanations.

“But Nicole lost sight of Crooks as Nicol made his way down to the building’s first level.” - ABC

Does anybody else here think this clunky sentence proves which door NicholE opened (as per the CNN article)?

  • The entire building complex is often referred to as THE building.

  • Many articles spoke of the ESU snipers being in THE building Crooks fired from. So they were in AGR6? Should we dismiss any evidence to the contrary?

Even if we are sloppy enough to dismiss those points (without explanation), here’s another foundational weakness:

  • Nichol could have walked along the first level to AGR6 before opening a door. Nothing in the CNN or ABC articles rule that out.

And all of this is assuming the article is accurate in the first place.

Not only is it an assumption that “THE building” proves which door was opened, it’s not even a good one. It’s no wonder VP is unable or at least unwilling to address these (and other) criticisms, choosing instead to get emotional, rude and delirious in the sense he said my sole purpose here is to waste his valuable time (even though I helped him fix his lead agent/site agent mistake), like he’s so important and I have nothing better to do than that.

He simply says we interpret the articles differently, or tells me to read his analysis that I am obviously responding to, like he can’t believe anyone could read it and disagree.

I’ve often said I think it’s probable it WAS door 13 that Nichol opened, but I guess I have a higher standard of proof. I wish more people did, or were at least more tolerant of those who do.

One could take the opposite position that many rally goers heard fireworks, and even one of the USSS counter sniper if memory serves. I’m just saying.

Can we at least agree that AGR6 had no 2nd level? So this is in itself descriptive of the location in which he ‘made his way down’.

And yet he doesn’t mention this movement either, we would have to then make the assumption that he made this movement to the complete opposite side of the building with the hopes that there were officers there? When he could see out his West side windows and easily tell where officers were located on the West side of the building, why would he move to the East side where he had no idea where anyone was?

Thanks for reminding me, again, about that valid point. Real-time editing mode is active.

Anyway, I’d like to ask him to show the particular door and window on floorplan or photo.
