So It's Back To First Principles (Part 1)

No problem! Still hunting for the source of that pic you were after, coming in with more hits still, feels like I’m getting closer!:

Ok, so a couple quick notes here:

That day-of image with shades would be our Foreback.
The image we’re using for McGrady was from another DARE event, in 2023, and in the text it does say:

Fifth-graders Graduate from Annual DARE Program | Mars Area Centennial School
BUT this Foreback and McGrady pic from 2024 clearly shows a different individual as McGrady. If we magnify this image, we can legibly read McGrady, so I’m inclined to think we’ve got that ID image wrong in our tools. And I’ve had this thought before, about how the face we’re using for McGrady resembles what we have for Terry Walker, but until now had no reasonable alternative!

PACT Act drastically increases claims for Butler County Veterans Service – Butler Eagle

And this was just what I needed to confirm him as a Marine vet, kinda like this find:

Got it all, thanks. I no longer need the image Piper provided since your shot put image gave us a better view of the tats. Tats and keys were the key to put that ID into the fully confirmed category.

Oorah!

You know, the more I dig through the response efforts of the ESU operators (I am planning a similar timeline analysis for non-tactical LEOs in the future), the more it saddens me to see people start off with the premise that many are bad actors and create their own story from the evidence to try and prove it. Being a Vet myself, and coming from a family of WWII and Korean War vets, plus having a father who was a Marine, and a cop for 17 years, it irks me to see the lack of respect being shown to our veterans and LEOs with their guilty before proven innocent approach.

I’ll get off my soapbox now, but I just had to bring that up again.

Thanks to “Eagle Eye” @redranamber pointing out some errors, a few corrections were needed on the Butler County Sheriffs ID slide. I also added a comment on the PSP ID slide regarding the under cover officers not being included.

Feel free to hop back on up and keep cookin any time! I agree with you that it rings with disrespect, I don’t think that is always intentional (though unfortunately sometimes it is clearly intentional…). Sometimes I think this stems from lack of information, or lack of willingness to accept certain information. Your Investigator Biases slide comes to mind, and along with it the Fallibility of Human Memory and Use of Evidence slides. I would say the items on the Memory slide, while intended for direct witnesses, could also be extrapolated to that of witnesses of videos or photos, possibly obscuring their idea even of what they are seeing. Perhaps even other aspects of the human condition, or human experience, come into play, considering how so many aspects of “conspiracy” theories involve a high level of intrigue and over-the-top details, and humans over the years have always held quite a soft spot for the dramatic, the sensational.

Anyways, thank you very much @vegaspatriot for your service, and thank you for continuing to provide us with your knowledge, talents, insights, tools and analysis! And speaking of, your latest revision :sunglasses::+1: top notch, as always! :beers:

You are welcome, but at this point, @redranamber, I am just the co-pilot as you are doing the high flying and heavy lifting. So thank you. I chuckled when I searched this forum for images of the bomb squad truck from the roof and saw that you had posted them back in October. I said to myself, “Why am I not surprised?!” Our recognition tool wouldn’t be what it is without your investigative skills and “Eagle Eye” catching my errors.

We do make a good team, though, IMHO.

Approx 50 years ago my teacher Mrs. Hontvary said: behave yourselves, because the people will not say an individual is the bad guy, but the entire school.

They are not guilty, not all of them at least. But one bad guy is enough to screw it up. From the other hand, our military regulation says: I’m responsible for I did or omitted to do. These people were not prepared for the task, for example they could not use the tactical ladder. Let the buck stop!

I saw that myself this morning and already have the better resolution patch in the Recognition Tools, but thanks. Good to have you looking out for things like this, without the other.

Being Christmas and all, I thought I would try to be nice. I knew it was too good to be true. This is “the other” I was referring to. I should have known better. Can a leopard change his spots? Apparently not. You’re back on my ignore list, Ken. Merry Christmas.

 And yet it feels as though I’m trawling my tendrils across the sea floor, pulling up what may be submerged in the deep dark history of the internet!

I had a good laugh at that too, that I was going back through the actual footage to find the photo I shared a couple months ago! I knew it looked familiar!
That’s where I feel I fall short somewhat, my approach tends to be very much in the moment, and logging and compiling details as far as sources over time can be a challenge for me. And that is where I admire your ability to compile these details and produce them in a highly detailed and comprehensive package. As much as I may be doing work in unveiling bits of data left behind, you are doing just as much work to keep track of it all, and that is invaluable to our efforts continuing to move forward! And I agree wholeheartedly, we make an excellent team! The unique and beautiful yin and yang to the way we approach topics that seems to move us forward in uncovering more and more details has surprised me endlessly!

Clearly, today is not that day.

Kincses, are you hand stabilizing these? If so, you’re getting damn good at it!

Clearly not.

A few hours ago he had no clue as to who those responders were.

Then Steel Magnolia shared our Recognition Tools slide.

It must have irked Ken to see that we had those responders identified already. (September 30th to be exact.) That’s all I can think as to what set him off.

:upside_down_face: Yeah, we had them ID’d way before radio transcripts even confirmed North Hills responded to the scene. I think it safe to presume he had no genuine interest in furthering our knowledge, he hadn’t even bothered to become familiar with our findings.

I concur, @kincses-zsolt. Those are impressive! What speed are they at? Given that they appear to have white shirts in the original, I ruled them out as LEOs, and figured them for rally goers. In your expertly modified clips they appear to be taking a leisurely stroll, hence my curiosity regarding the speed.

Rob Banks, Copenhaver’s attorney, Joseph Feldman, has claimed that the 3rd audio shot is still in Copenhaver’s abdomen, after 2nd audio shot hit David Dutch, and after 1st audio shot hit Copenhaver’s triceps.
My opinion is that Corey Comperatore was hit with the 6th audio shot, one of the five shots fired in 0.78 seconds, and aimed meters east of the podium, and at civilians closest to the shooter.
