So It's Back To First Principles (Part 1)

Thank you! Here are my comments on your slides.

  1. Setnar walked northward along the east wall of AGR, as stated in slide 45, after handing Kopas the pallet.
  2. Great catch on Kopas staying on the roof. Where I thought he went to leave, he went to talk to Blasko apparently. I think I assumed he had got off after that since I didn’t see him on the roof afterwards like you did. I’ll update my analysis.
  3. Thanks for catching the bad link to Michel’s transcript. Likely a copy and paste where I changed the link title but not the link itself.
  4. Good catch on Oesterling at the gate. I missed that one. I won’t add it since catching him at the tents serves the purpose of showing how late he was even better, which was the objective.
  5. Good question on the IED training, but difficult to know if Crooks could access the AC training documents. The equipment in question was the remote detonator, which I’m sure Crooks could have found in a number of places online, probably, when he was researching that component.

One of the most challenging aspects of my analysis was maintaining the Excel spreadsheet with the timeline. I can’t tell you how many times I had to modify it when inserting something new I found, then had to go back and repost all of the segments in the slides, often modifying the slide contents to match the timeline when I thought I had it all covered…only to find something else and go through that process all over again. I’ll have to do that again for your new Kopas sightings.

Edit: Sulerud’s testimony gave his description of driving the UTV. Clearly you saw the Slide on Sulerud’s Ride Along, and forgot you raised that thought about Setnar maybe being the driver. I can’t tell you how many times I had to go back and change earlier slides due to similar finds later. It’s a lot to keep track of!

Right, corroborated by Kopas’ conversation with Blasko. I did forget Setnar handed up that pallet, thinking it may have been Slack, but video account does show what appears to be Setnar lifting the pallet.

Kopas: “I can’t find Renaud, I can’t find Setnar; I need head count.”
Blasko: “Did they get-- Do you know if they went inside?”
Kopas: “I don’t know…the last time I saw Setnar he went around that corner.”
Blasko: “He went around that corner?”
[/sidenote/ audio actually sounds like he slurs ‘that’ and ‘this’ into ‘thass corner’. Irrelevant really, but interestingly human.]

I wonder what prompted him to leave that scene and skirt around the NE side.

It’s easy to miss, I think at this point he seems to be more concerned with maintaining the perimeter and guiding the ops on the ground from above where he has a better vantage and as such is probably along the outskirts of the roof from here until they come down.

I assumed a simple copy paste error, and those easily fly under the radar. I was checking as many links as I could while going through this, and I think this was the only one I found. :+1:

No problem, no need to add redundancy where it’s unnecessary. I did find it interesting though to be able to more clearly map him on his route back to the Terradyne, even though he missed it.

And I don’t doubt at all the prevalence of this information in other sources online, I find it interesting to note though his apparent prevalence for studying official documents and utilizing their details, and then that coupled with AC recently training their members on this ‘particular’ device is uncannily coincidental to say the least.

I can only imagine! So many details rely upon other details, and then an update to one item reflects updates to so many other parts! It becomes nearly impossible to keep it all in line easily!

And this is exactly what I was getting at, there are so many details involved it is difficult to keep track of. I had seen that slide, and forgot about it when raising my questions of Setnar being the driver. Clearly he wasn’t, but I do still find it odd for him to disappear from the scene of ascending the roof so quickly.

Holding a perimeter around Crooks on the roof was pretty easy, and I’m sure boring after a while. They only had 3 sides of the roof covered, though, so maybe that played into his concerns.

Actually, it was a bad link to her testimony in the Research Tools that I just copied, before I discovered and corrected it, and overlooked checking for similar links in the analysis.

Perhaps he was thinking a second shooter could be escaping the AGR buildings, and that would be the logical way to go with the rest of the complex fairly well covered. Hard telling, not knowing! (A favorite saying of an old coworker of mine.)

Another thing I’ve been working on is an archive of your Research Tools. This is based off Rev.19. I’m trying to collect any relevant links, maps, photos, or videos included and package them into their own archive, to hopefully prevent losing important items to the interwebs.:

I hope that this doesn’t violate your terms and conditions, and will release it as a full package upon completion with your permission, but if it does, I will simply keep it as my own personal backup.

Wow! That’s some undertaking, and calls for a lot of storage space, especially if you’re uploading all of the videos. I had plans to do that eventually, but would need to get another external storage device, not to mention not having the time to do that and do the other analyses I have planned. That would be awesome, though. Thanks for taking it on.

As for the Terms of Use, the investigation tools are not copyrighted since they are more of a collaborative effort. I am only copyrighting my Timeline Analyses and Sidebar Analyses, and doing so for a specific reason. As I’m sure you recall, there was a person doing a documentary who was digging for content and ended up being hostile towards me (and the whole PP community in fact), misrepresented me in countless posts, and repeatedly slandered me. Hopefully we’ve seen the last of him, but just in case, I want to make sure he or others don’t profit from my work. I don’t.

The Terms of Use do allow for posting whole slides of my Timeline and Sidebar Analyses, which ensures the copyright mark is included, and that all of the evidence backing up my work included on each slide is visible. (That didn’t make sense for the Recognition Tools, where those who use it like to post just the ID of an individual person.) Again, I’m trying to prevent those lacking integrity from misrepresenting me, as well as those whose work I include (and credit with links where appropriate) under the Fair Use Act, and ensuring any users are giving credit where credit is due.

So now you know why I did that with my Timeline and Sidebar Analyses, though you probably figured it had something to do with that past experience of mine on this and another platform.

It is certainly a pretty good amount of storage space, I think last I looked the folder was about 32Gb, and I know there’s a lot more for me to cover, so it will definitely end up being quite large. If I start running low on space, I do have a 2Tb external, but I’ve got to get a cable or two to get it up and running. Once it’s all put together, I’ll compress it into an archive .zip or .rar file, I’m not quite sure yet. And I may have to break it into chunks to upload it even, but I’ll cross that bridge when I come to it.

This started as a project to catalogue all of the video files you link to, in order to preserve them, as you well know we lose access to them from time to time! But then as I worked to download and organize them, I thought that having everything together in one package would be extremely useful, so I then expanded my goal to cover the whole document.

I’ve known full well why the terms came about and completely understand and respect you for implementing them! At the same time, it adds a very nice professional polish to your work! I really only brought it up because it is a project I would consider derivative of yours and figured it worth setting the precedent of consulting with you before actually releasing something like that. I didn’t expect it to be an issue, but I did want to bring it up before pulling the trigger on releasing something of that nature.

Well, I will be sure to consult you before making any substantive changes to the Research Tools document, lest I throw off your catalog organization. I don’t see a need at this time to insert any new slides, though I’ll likely add more videos to the “Rally Videos (5)” slide. I should note that slide 2 is “Disclaimers & Fair Use Notice” and not “Terms of Use.” If you have any suggestions for making my slide deck align better with your project, don’t hesitate to make them.

Well, it should be a database with #tags. I think that google search engine can deal with it.

There are interesting elements in Tucker’s interview.
5715 CNN called me
When unmarked police cars arrived at Crooks’s house, they observed other cars arriving. Then they were informed that Mattew called 911 about his son.
0:55:24

There was no ID with him. They traced the serial number of the rifle. It was around 2030 and 2100. Only a few people got that report. FBI and ATF arrived at his house at 2230.
Mattwe got two calls from CNN and a call from NBC.

BTW, you were correct, Kopas did remain on the roof to the end. Starting around 20:00:47, 5 of the ESU left the roof, and all had camo uniforms. (Collins’ dashcam wide angle.) So, Matthew Shaffer must have left earlier. He was not seen leaving later.

 I appreciate that, though I imagine simply some notice of where to look for changes in future revisions would probably suffice, and as you generally allude to where your changes are anyways this isn’t even really an issue. And I would kind of imagine a full changelog as somewhat overkill, and likely unnecessary, especially considering new developments as far as evidence releases are concerned may very well be few and far between.

Right! Thank you! I’m not quite sure where I grabbed ‘Terms of Use’ from, but I thought I had seen it titled that. Possibly your Timeline Analysis or Recog Tools file I’ve got open alongside the Research Tools (both of which are “Disclaimers & Terms of Use”). Regardless, I will correct this in my file structure. I’ll certainly let you know if I think of a way that helps these better align, right now I’m focusing on downloading the documents needed to flesh this out more, and I’m fairly certain I can structure it to align with yours without any changes, but I will let you know if I come across anything that I think might need tweaking. Also, I hope to hear from you(or kinces, sonja, etc., really anyone with input) with any other mistakes or edits I may need to make to properly archive this.

Something like an SQL database maybe? Or what did you have in mind? I would absolutely love to do something along those lines, a database with reference tags or hashtags, or at the very least some means of searching. Unfortunately, I have been out of the CompSci/Programming realms for quite some time, and don’t quite have that knowledge or experience, though learning to use it would be fun and interesting.

I’ll admit, he may make some very interesting and juicy statements, still I cannot be 100% sure of the accuracy or integrity of all of his statements. I’m still watching through to see what is discussed, it just seems to me there is a certain amount of sensationalism in the way he approaches talking about things, and that feeds my skepticism.

Oooh! Another section of footage to go review! :sunglasses: Nice catch!

You’ll find he didn’t dig into the details of events like we did. The one thing I did learn from him was that CNN called Crooks’ father before he made his 911 call, and before he was officially notified that his son was involved, meaning someone leaked TMC’s identity. Let me see your shocked face.

I’ve been reviewing it to see when Shaffer leaves the roof. This is what I have as his latest sighting so far At least I believe this is him having a black vs camo uniform. He’s catching something tossed up to him.

Edit: M. Shaffer appeared to leave the roof at ~19:59:52, just after USSS, FBI evidence team, and DoD exited the roof. I believe it’s him seen coming out of the alcove in this screenshot.

From a Susan Crabtree X post early this morning:
Trump fired 17 Inspector Generals

“Among those spared Friday is current Department of Homeland Security Inspector General Joseph V. Cuffari Jr., who is conducting multiple investigations into the Secret Service failures that led to two assassination attempts on President Trump’s life. Cuffari Jr. is a Trump appointee from his first term who has faced more than his fair share of liberal attacks and lawfare.”

It’s good to know there is another independent investigation besides the congressional ones and the joke of an “independent” one that concluded.

I don’t know exactly yet.

Yep.

There was a helicopter footage before sunset.

Footage appears to show rifle and body on roof after Trump shot

By the way, we cannot see the body. But they might have binoculars to see a younger male.

Who got airlifted to Allegheny General Hospital, Comperatore or Copenhaver?

As I know, the deceased firefighter remained at the venue and waited for the coroner.

I would almost have to assume it to be Copenhaver, but on that same note I believe I recall there being two Life Flight helos that responded, so perhaps both?

It would be interesting to see the DHS Inspector General’s report. I doubt we will, but who knows, maybe Trump will have it released.

The DHS “Independent Review Panel” was anything but independent with Janet Napolitano being one of the leads on it. It was more of a check the box exercise to fulfill an expectation and make it appear that Myorkas really cared about what happened, and to try and deflect the blame and/or cover for their incompetence.

There definitely were two helicopters. That was heard on the Fire/EMS radio when they called for vehicles to go to the landing zone behind the barns. I’m pretty sure one went to Butler Memorial Hospital, which makes sense, since the two hospitals I’m sure only have 1 helicopter pad each. Butler Memorial sure did anyways.

This article states that both Copenhaver (airlifted) and Dutch (ambulance) were treated at Allegheny General Hospital. That would mean Comperatore was airlifted to Butler Memorial, which makes sense since it was much closer.

I uploaded revision 3 (high res) of my “Timeline Analysis - ESU Post-Shooting” to the File Browser. I addressed the Kopas roof issue, and added M. Schaffer’s roof departure times, in slides 86 and 142-143, respectively. I also added Kopas’ radio comms trying to get a status check on Renauld and Setnar in the timeline tables that follow slide 86. The good news is it all fit into existing slides. I like having an even number of slides (150). :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
