Who’s microphone was it again that recorded the audio you are referencing? And what was he doing at that point in time? Running for cover beneath the tree?
Collin’s cruiser was not far from Dayve, do you find these same sounds?
And then there’s the footage/audio from the crowd nearby. Were these sounds present here too?
Thank you, certainly an interesting video, and yes, different patterns of step will result in different sounding footsteps. Different environmental factors change the sound as well. But this doesn’t really offer anything against these sounds possibly being footsteps…

Dayve absolutely parked under the tree during the silence, 2.81 seconds.
That was just after the 3 shots you heard, and just before the 5 shots you heard, with difficulty counting them.

Also, if I have to trust audio from Dayve or from Collins’ cruiser, I’ll trust Dayve’s recording.
If there’s a sound editing tool like Photoshop’s ‘eraser’ tool, and if I wanted to hide 3 Jose Greco dance steps, I’d erase those flemenco steps.

I put he or she on AGR5 roof. That roof is from ABC News Australia, which made their roof position 20 July.
He or she is pixelated, but flesh toned pixels, and
the flesh toned pixels are the left side of a face.
In some of the nearby frames, maybe dependent on lighting and the speed of Dayve’s phone movement, I can see an ear and a hairline.
Where are you seeing anything “flesh colored”? …I’m still not entirely sure I’m looking at the same thing you are, you couldn’t at least circle or point to it? Are you talking about this gap in the trees??
