Exactly, this was obviously the main operational mistake (not talking about the planning failures upfront the rally) made on Jul13 and Nicol is clearly the person responsible for it.
But we also have to aknowledge that it’s never, at least in my understanding, a sniper’s job to observe such close up areas as the one between the fence line and the AGR building. Their statement was that they were tasked with looking/overwatching the rally crowd in sector 1 (audience within the crowd control fence) and sector 2 (front stage area).
It’s also fair to ask who was responsible for securing the ground area around the southern and western part of the AGR property (even more so as they knew there are quite a few people around watching the rally)?
What was Tom Vensel’s role who was in this area at least 3min prior to the shooting and must have seen Crooks on the roof since people were pointing him out?
Why was he moving around like a turtle even though he must have been aware of the risky situation?
Why his bodycam only starts at 18:15:08?
From the WP article “All units be advised also that individual is headed towards Sheetz,” a sheriff’s deputy radioed to his colleagues at 6:04 p.m.
meaning he headed northwards. My guess, he picked up his backpack with the rifle inside (likely from the car parked along the road in front of the green houses), walked back to the western AGR parking lot and waited at/around the picknick table in front of Door 14 until there was a good moment to sneak in the dead end between building 4 and 6 (numbered as in the AAR). And there he was seen by Nicol.
Does it have the upload date? I’m pretty sure there were only 12 when I downloaded all of them last friday/saturday to finally sync them on my own. No, I’m not 'pretty sure"… I’m absolutely sure.
Who owns this dropbox again? Butler Township Lt. Matthew Pearson, possibly the only one interested in transparency, maybe? Now what would make Butler Police go back to this particular camera ?
EDIT: It does have an upload date: September 30th - 14:26
Also, not quite sure, could this be a potential match to Eduardo Castro (aka Rafael Eduardo Castro II assuming Goodman’s on the right trail), our UAV/UAS guy?:
Your find on John Edwards LinkedIn is like Eduardo Castro’s, it leads one to believe it couldn’t be him due to his current employment, though his experience seems close in description to the USSS John Edwards, closer perhaps than Eduardo’s. As for the face match, it’s close, but I’m not sure of the rounded fuller cheeks on the right photo, along with the wider nose. It’s perhaps worth finding another photo to compare, but the LinkedIn job thing doesn’t sit well with me. That’s the type of thing that could lead to trouble for me if I misidentify someone and they want to come after me. That’s why I need a connection to the USSS, and not a civilian job. The same for Eduardo.
As for my recent find, here is K9 Kiko’s detail page. I’m pretty confident it’s him and have yet to find a similar K9 on the Butler County departments represented. My interest was finding out whether that dog walking by the suspected Crooks car parked across the street from the AGR main entrance had bomb detection abilities. As of August 2, 2021, he did not. I haven’t found any information about his later training.
@redranamber Let me share my thoughts on the guy you think might be USSS C-UAS agent Eduardo Castro. I’m thinking he might be, but it has nothing to do with Rafael Eduardo Castro II. My reason for liking him for Castro has to do with some observations of him and his actions.
First, he’s got his gun drawn unlike all of the LEOs around him, as if “goodie, I get a chance to draw my weapon,” or “am I supposed to draw my weapon for this?” I see the other 3 guys doing that who I suspect are part of the USSS team.
Second, and I think funny as hell, he had a problem holstering his weapon just like this USSS agent. He has that problem again when he goes to pass through the gate near AGR.
Third, he’s in a somewhat tactical role but isn’t part of the USSS Uniformed Division police he’s with. He’s dressed in sort of a makeshift uniform like the other USSS agent we have figured for Box, though Box looks more like he’s in a supervisor’s CAT uniform. What uniform or clothing would a C-UAS agent that is part of the DJT detail wear? Do we see anyone else dressed like that in any of the videos, or is he a one off?
I then have to ask myself, “what is he doing heading to AGR with 3 USSS police if it is him?” I don’t have an answer for that other than try to retrieve a drone, which I’m sure Castro wasn’t aware Crooks used earlier in the day since his equipment wasn’t working until around 4:30 pm, so it kind of rules that purpose out.
Where do the images of the K-9 being walked by the car come from? I can’t seem to find it in the videos I watch.
I really only noticed him at first because his outfit/kit stood out to me, and then I found his behavior interesting! Less to do with a resemblance to what’s given by Goodman, still I couldn’t help but notice at least a similarity there.
Caught that too, and immediately thought of the same comparison! And this side by side is absolutely perfect!
I can’t find anyone else dressed/outfitted as he is. He’s office space meets die hard. The suits aren’t putting on tac vests, and from what I’ve seen our business casual operators don’t do so either.
It doesn’t really rule this out if he’s trying to retrieve his own drone(s) from the site of action, before they can be retrieved by someone else.
Sorry, I should have stated the video. But now you know what I go through when getting images without a reference to the source video. I added it afterward to my detail slide. He just walked past the Elantra as you can see in the screenshot. The dog didn’t start sniffing around the car at all.
If he’s having to retrieve his own drones, if a C-UAS operator uses drones (I have no clue), rather than fly them back to his operating station, he’s more inexperienced than the HSGAC reports says he is.
I just spotted this looking for the older potential Burke guy. He’s dressed more like the believed Box, and he’s got what appears to be an antenna sticking out of his pack. Could he be Eduardo Castro?
No worries and thank you! I understand, exactly why I try to cite a link or some source material, some verification.
He may be, and that’s a nice catch! I’ll have to look into a lot of this a little later, I’m off to work for now but I’ve got a lot of things I want to look more into, and I will report back with anything of interest! Funny how you found him here (backpack guy), I was looking through that same footage trying to see who I could make out on/with the Bearcat!
The first two Episodes of Art of the Surge are out on Tucker Carlson Network.
Episode 2 is J-13 Butler with some new videos from different angles. It would be interesting to see what was left on the cutting room floor. Someone better than me should make a report on it.
There is a lady restaurant owner from the Butler area who was in the stands behind Trump who has video on her phone. Maybe R_C_G knows who she is and could get a copy of it.
There’s a women they carry from the audience area in front of the northern bleachers. Not sure though if she was shot at (couldn’t see any blood) or if she had another medical issue not directly related to the shooting itself.
