So It's Back To First Principles

@kincses-zsolt

You do know this rough (some think Yearick) looking guy is not wearing a Secret Service uniform, right? It is a Uniformed Division Police kneeling down cuffing him. It had me guessing for a while. Look at the officers knees.

Personally, I see a closer resemblance to Kennon Hooper, Yearick’s buddy. And even still I can’t help but see more similarity in facial features of the shooter to that of Yearick. Thomas had such a pointy chin, and I don’t see that on the roof. Also, why and how do we not have a more recent photo of Crooks to compare? You know, something to corroborate him looking dramatically different than his yearbook photo?

??

I think the ears don’t quite match, nose seems a little off to me as well but close…

I’m assuming you are referring to who I call “ Crazy Guy” and Kennon Hooper. I agree, the ears are different for sure.

Who is Kenyon Hooper, anyways? Other than Yearick’s buddy. I think this is the first time I’m hearing that name. Then again, I’ve only peered into the Yearick rabbit hole, I never went down in.

Yeah, crazy guy struck me as similar. Hooper and Yearick were both arrested while protesting a DJT event and seem to have obtained a plea deal down from aggravated assault to simple assault and resisting arrest. Both are from the Pittsburgh area, and I’ve seen claim (without backing evidence) that they have ties to ANTIFA, the war in Ukraine, and the CIA.

Thanks for the detailed explanation! Two peas in a pod it appears.

No problem! And definitely two peas in a pod (or perhaps 3, as there was a third arrested) It is indeed quite the rabbit hole, I looked into it a bit earlier on, and going back and rereading some things is interesting. Reuters was quite quick to fact check and “disprove” the Maxwell Yearick theory. Like July 15 quick. Had to nip that theory as quick as they could. And yet their main point in Yearick not being the shooter is the fact that he doesn’t look like the picture of Crooks from his 2020 yearbook. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

You know, I use the term Patsy in my published analyses for the following reasons:

  1. While my work focuses on analyzing the timeline to paint the picture of what happened, and not to prove or disprove the LIHOP or MIHOP theories, I still believe a LIHOP at least is a likely scenario and the dead guy on the roof was simply the patsy.
  2. I don’t like to publicly recognize him by name because he doesn’t deserve recognition.
  3. Patsy is a generic term, and whether the dead guy is Crooks or Yearick doesn’t really matter to the timeline work I’m doing, and so why use it to make or support the argument either way.

Personally, the ears leave me to believe it is Crooks, but I know some like Goodman and Cullen believe they were photoshopped onto the dead guy’s face in the roof photos. I don’t see where that’s likely for all of the camera and bodycam video of him throughout the day to boot. I tend to think the Yearick connection is more likely disinformation designed to misdirect and eventually discredit investigative work like ours. Basically the topic of Chris’ last video.

I don’t begrudge anyone their personal beliefs, and am certainly open to concrete evidence proving it was Yearick, but for now I really don’t have a dog in the fight and don’t plan to because it takes time away from what I am doing. That’s not to say I don’t peer down into that rabbit hole now and again.

This is Mia Kopps boyfriend, Eric DeFelice. He is a Butler local. They were attending the rally and she took and posted footage from shots fired. You actually see him in her footage too inside the rally. They did an interview together after the fact — if memory serves me right, with Cullen.

Correct, this is a secret service agent hovering over him. Two people.

Indeed, all very good reasons for using a generic term such as patsy for timeline analysis. I think though, despite him not deserving the recognition, recognizing that he does have a name, an identity, a past, can be helpful in the fact that we must not forget that this event is not an isolated moment in time. His actions that day would follow a series of actions and decisions he made leading up to the event, prep and planning, training, building explosives, etc. And that would also include anyone he colluded with or gained intel from, or anyone persuading or coercing him to act.

Occam’s razor probably benefits the overwhelming incompetence theory, while LIHOP or MIHOP are more difficult to prove, especially so far after the fact with limited information, though I don’t think they are disproven simply through demonstration of incompetence alone. And I would think delving into the past of whomever actually is the shooter could help in possibly resolving a motive for his actions, which we still seem to be missing. Interesting how we still have no motive, and very little information released about the actual evidence found at the scene and in his car, or on any of his devices.

Agreed, the ears do appear a lot like Crooks’, even the nose and the eyebrows look similar. I don’t really buy into the whole photoshop angle, like you said it is most likely designed to undermine and discredit.

Really? I’m finishing up a comprehensive timeline analysis of the AR400 and SQ200 movements and her video was very helpful to me. So this was her boyfriend getting cuffed? Do you recall what for, or if they mentioned it during the interview?

Someday I might go down the path of analyzing the patsy’s motive, but that’s really not something I have experience in. Besides, I’ve got enough unfinished work, and then revisions to get to when I finish those.

I think ‘Crazy Guy’ fits nicely!

Truthfully, I never listened to the interview so I don’t know if he says what he was arrested for or not. Here it is:

And here is Mia’s footage. You will clearly see him.

Very interesting. Glad I read that before I watch the interview @stellauc kindly posted. I should have figured it would be a Crowd Source the Truth interview.

Thanks for posting that interview video. It never ceases to amaze me how many times my timeline analyses take me off on interesting challenges or discoveries, and how good this team is at digging up the information to go with them. I was just using “Crazy Guy” (he really was acting crazy) as a common point of reference and next thing I know you and @redranamber hand me the goods on this guy. Thank you both.

It also amazes me all of the side stories we’ve run across during this investigation. Countless of them, especially as we’ve worked to ID the players involved. It would make for a good miniseries.

Completely agree. The entire story of J13 continues to fascinate me and is a wild adventure full of characters one could not make up. The citizen community that has become so invested in this investigation has been nothing short of amazing and I’m continuously impressed. You all motivate me to push forward and discover more truths.

Yes, thank you @stellauc, I hadn’t seen that interview yet. I tend to stray away from John Cullen, but this pair of first person accounts coupled with their video account of the day are fascinating! And he absolutely was acting crazy, but it was surprising and humorous to find such corroborating accounts of his previous crazy behavior! Indeed, would make a wonderful miniseries, though I would put money on it playing out more like a soap opera!

6:14 is the timestamp at the start of Mia Kopps video featuring Eric “Crazy Guy” DeFelice, according to the interview. And he wasn’t actually arrested but detained. He also says the plainclothes woman near the hat guy trying to push them out had a radio, and claimed her to be part of secret service, though her actual affiliation may differ, she did appear to have wires on her person though I couldn’t make out an actual radio yet.

Well, you have to give them credit, at least they found one suspicious person. :joy:

I’m sorry to post this to this thread but I do not know how to start a new post. (Trying to learn).

Have you all seen this photo and identified any of these four?
