Syria Falls as Assad is Overthrown; Israel Moves to Expand?

Geopolitics

In the Middle East, Syria is experiencing significant upheaval. Reports suggest that President Bashar al-Assad’s plane may have crashed or made an emergency landing near Homs, adding to the uncertainty surrounding his condition. Unverified claims have emerged of Israel invading Syria following Assad’s departure, with former Al-Qaeda commander Abu Mohammed al-Jolani reportedly taking leadership. The situation in Damascus is fluid, with reports of jihadist forces entering the capital and the Assad regime’s control diminishing. Conflicting reports and official silence from the Syrian government highlight the complexity and uncertainty of the situation, with some sources suggesting misinformation may be at play.

Relatedly, the ongoing Syrian conflict is linked with broader regional dynamics, including Israel’s expansion plans and the involvement of various proxy groups. The narrative is further complicated by the U.S.’s historical role in these conflicts and technological activities by Israeli intelligence units. Amidst these developments, President-elect Donald Trump has commented on the situation, suggesting that Russia’s focus on Ukraine has weakened its support for Assad, contributing to the current instability in Syria. However, official statements from Russia and Syria contradict Trump’s claims, emphasizing continued Russian operations in Syria and Assad’s presence in Damascus.

Health

A federal judge has ordered the FDA to expedite the release of documents related to Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine trials. This decision follows a lawsuit demanding transparency in the vaccine approval process. The FDA’s initial proposal to release the documents over 75 years was rejected, highlighting the importance of public access to information in the post-pandemic era. The court’s ruling emphasizes the legal and ethical obligations of transparency in public health matters, particularly concerning vaccine safety data.

Economy

In global finance, John Rubino, a financial analyst, has raised concerns about the state of the global economy. Rubino points to the historical shift from the gold standard to fiat currency, which he claims has led to an increase in debt. This debt-fueled growth is reportedly at a critical juncture, as governments face the challenges of inflation and unsustainable debt costs. The U.S. dollar’s role as the world’s reserve currency is under scrutiny, with countries like China and Russia reportedly seeking alternatives. Recent reports indicate a surge in demand for gold and silver, as well as efforts by BRICS countries to expand and reduce reliance on the U.S. dollar, further supporting Rubino’s analysis. Meanwhile, credit card debt in the U.S. has reached record levels, despite high APRs and a declining savings rate, suggesting financial strain for many consumers. Analysts are divided on the implications, with some viewing it as a sign of economic instability, while others see it as a reflection of consumer confidence and post-COVID normalization.

WHAT?! Here’s some live news:

People are celebrating, but is this really cause for celebration?

Damascus falling to the jihadists is a bad sign. It’s going to give Israel the moral grounds it thinks it needs to expand and escalate it’s war against Syria.
This is not a good development!

For Israel this is then desired outcome. Those rebels dont have a chance without US backing.
That can be plot twist, US withdraws support and lets Israel mow them down.
Israel plan is to start drilling oil and gas in golan heights but first they want security buffer out of syrian land to begin.

Turkey might be happy too to secure northern parts. Some holy sites for them there.

I’m SOOO confused!! The “rebels” that have taken power are with Al Queda and ISIS, right?! And the US is announcing support and aid?! And Biden has suddenly come back from the dead? And I’ve lost count of how many countries are getting more US aid at the same time debt grows exponentially and disaster vicitims are abandoned, I’ve also lost track of how many wars we’re involved in. How can we make sense out of all this?

At this point, as Syria is “failed state” (wording used for years now in every media), that “aid” would be just money laundering I assume. No civvies in normal sense in failed state place. Also lots of refugees escaped decade ago, so what are we aiding. Nothing really. Food packages would be stolen by tribe gangs and isis fighters. Anyone with any sense has fled years ago. Or murdered by thugs. This reminds a lot of Iraq, basicly destroy country, no regime, no government, kill bunch of civvies, lots of refugees leave… nothing left, yet hundreds of billions “aid” given. We know what always happens to that aid. Dubai, kuwait, abu dhabi 5star hotels gotta have income for guests somehow.

Add to this, now that Hunter is pardoned, prison wont pay for his food and other amenities, so maybe modest 3mn $ weekly allowance is needed via this “aid” so he can live in 5star hotels and smoke something.

Not that this bet could be easily settled, but $100 says that’s not the same Joe Biden that fell up some stairs.

The Ashkenazi linage descendants from Eastern Europe (Ukraine/Poland) have been promised by God that this is their land.

With a firm hold on the USAID and CIA and US Military, they just might be able to take this land for themselves.

Sometimes God demands that you kill a couple of tens of thousands of people to make him happy.

The source for this is not just some obscure sect of one of the 12 tribes of Israel. It’s in every King James and all other translations of the covenant giving Israel the promised land “from the river in Egypt to the Euphrates “. I think that was the original source. There were tribes of other peoples inhabiting that land when the Hebrews were led there after wandering in the desert for 40 years. They were commanded to execute and leave not one stone on top of another not spare any livestock of a couple of those tribes. The Hebrews did that. Archeology indicates those peoples engaged in child sacrifice I’ve read but currently cannot produce that source. The Hebrews were ordered by God not to slaughter the Philistines but to co-occupy the land with these disagreeable peoples. They live today as Palestinians, disagreeable peoples unacceptable to all other nations of the Mideast as immigrants. Look what Egypt does to keep them in Gaza. Pray no future regime in the west opens doors to its masses IMNHO

PS: I’m not putting on the woo or going metaphysical. Just tracing original sources of books passed down for thousands of years that over a billion current earthlings hold in high esteem and nearly 7 billion have some remedial knowledge.

Referring to the current victims of a genocide as “disagreeable peoples” is offensive to me. Holy wars are not just. I’m outta here.

People celebrated in Libya at first too. Nobody is celebrating now.

In my country in Europe, I’ve seen several leftist media with headlines like “the whole world is celebrating Assads fall” and some positive opinion pieces. I don’t even think those particular newspapers are getting paid by anybody. Why are they regurgitating cia/mossad or who knows talking points? The legacy media is just pathetic everywhere. One would think not rejoicing for Al Qaeda was a pretty low bar.

Many of them are left leaning publications so they are true believers and anything anti american, anti west is positive. In this case Assad is dictator → dictators are bad. I dont think it goes deeper than that, they dont care about nuances to paint it like this.

Remember , syrians are "oppressed " → all oppressed are victims. Pretty simple really.
