It’s really all about energy. As it further declines and continues to cost more to extract, it will work its magic of depopulation because it’s what made industrial civilization possible and it is what will be its fall. Everything else regarding energy is either Hopium or as JMG likes to say “Technological Superstitions”.

People have been so beaten down and demoralized as a country watching Biden fall down and crap his pants when representing us abroad. The gender insanity and TDS exhaustion has been so persistent, people are never returning to their former selves.
On the sane side, people are accepting Trump bombing abroad and continuing his clot shot. These people are no better than the blue anon zipperheads to me.

Putin decided to put NATO on notice regarding the Arctic saying the Arctic is part of Russia’s national interest. This is probably a counter move with NATO wanting to expand further into Russian territory and Europe making statements about Russia’s assets. As the name of Gail Tverberg’s website suggest, we live on a finite planet. Too bad leaders from around the world think everything is infinite that we can grow endlessly.

To quote Catherine Austin Fitts, we are in the midst of a slow burn. It’s like that old saying how do you go bankrupt? “A little at first, then all of a sudden”.
My guess is and I am by far NO energy expert, we have a few here on this website who are but my guess is we are probably looking at another 3-4 decades before as the brothas like to say in the barrio, “before the shit gets real”.
There was something that Chris Martenson said a few years back that has always stuck with me. It basically was put forward that given the choice between hard and easy choices, humans will pretty much ALWAYS take the easy choice.
As such, you can tell because our infrastructure is decaying, we have not invested in our infrastructure. We haven’t even put any serious effort to finding an energy source that we can begin tomorrow and have up and running in 30 years which would allow us to replace oil, 100% that would be cheap and reliable. Everything that has been tried still requires fossil fuel inputs. And that energy source would need to allow for governments to make money from it to fund their obligations.

If you hooked up your average American to a lie detector and asked them - Would you rather have $15 per gallon gas and world peace with no US led wars OR would you rather have $3 per gallon gas and millions killed abroad in our name, I think the answers would nauseate us.
We can’t even get the informed to develop a bad opinion of our own mass murderer.
That’s a level of taking the easy route I never would’ve believed yet here we are. People become distraught and feel personally attacked if you point out reality.

Can’t see a one world government happening, but we are surely moving closer towards a universal digital architecture of governance, sick care, finance, and safety/security that makes everything we do in life transactional and transparent to our national rulers and their preferred “partners” (from corporate to local, regional, and global).
One system of common protocols and specifications that is interoperable with other systems, which can be white gloved for governance to meet the requirements of each sovereign / regional power.
People are represented by their digital selves in that system (biological and physical). It de-prioritizes all else, including our basic human ontology.

That is a very good example of what Chris said. As former Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan used to say it is all part of the dumbing down of America. Henry Ford once said that if people understood how the banking and monetary systems worked there would be a revolution the following morning.
Another reason in my view as to why humans gravitate towards the easy choice is that the government has conditioned the public by domesticating them. It’s a design not by choice but on purpose and it was done on a global scale. It was done to get the public where they didn’t need to grow their own food etc. It was done for them so they got lazy. While they became lazy they didn’t focus on the government and the rich stealing them blind. Instead they were conditioned on the top 3 priorities: Food, sex and entertainment.
People tend to know more about their favorite celebrity than they do about their government.

Chris is the only prominent voice I follow that has been saying “plant a garden” for years. I think many of us, including myself here have seen through so many things that others seem to miss, we begin giving ourselves too much credit. I remind myself constantly that I haven’t seen anything I wasn’t allowed to.

Thank you Chris and Evie. As a born and raised Albertan in Canada I too fear we will soon be trapped behind an iron curtain. It is a challenge to consider dropping everything that has been built here to go somewhere else but my gut keeps screaming to escape before it’s too late. Sadly the same Canadians that fell hook line a sinker for the jabs without coercion are the ones screaming “Orange man Bad” (shake my head). It’s embarassing at this point to see how quickly and far this once great nation has fallen. With Carney at the helm … well I believe he will push for the destruction of the remaining energy producing plants here and we will freeze in the dark. These are concerning times and I know many Canadians that share the same values as the amazing PP tribe. I for one am strongly considering escaping to the US to get away from the growing Mind Virus that seems to be all around due the growing propoganda and very strong censoring that is now happening here.
Thank you to both of you for all you do. This PP tribe has helped to keep me sane in what seems to be an insane world… especially in Canada… these days.
