What do you make of the DOGE Team finding that funds were spent without coding the authorization. Congress had repeatedly been rebuffed and yet the Secretaries of the Treasury apparently did not ever look into the central aspect of being THE Treasury of the United States. What about the fiduciary responsiblities of the Secretaries? I do not subscribe to the NY Times. What Congressional Committees was responsible for oversight. What do they say? With the limited information now at hand, it appears that there was willful neglect. But maybe these operators of the Treasury Financial Operations unit were given specific orders. $4+trillion missing coding equates to how many manhours of work for the average taxpayer to fund that amount? Can you try to fill in the blanks. Meanwhile I am sure the bureaucracy will try to defuse the situation and the media will try to ignore the entire mess.
