I dont know…but from what I have read, a number of capped wells have significantly refilled over a timespan of decades.

I bought a new electric car 3+ years ago as Chris started pounding to peak oil drum
Of course i paid premiumvs todays discounted prices
Maybe soon i start recovering my costs
But they are cheap to maintain and run at .12kw to charge when cloudy outside
Or .05kw when sunny vs selling back to TVA
The idea that it could be an additional source of power in a pinch i had not thought of is good

I bet Carney tries to keep them as Canada has overspent overdebted as only oil reserves as collateral for their banks.
