It says something that there is very little “labour” left in the Labor Party which is a club of mostly career politicians backing useless concepts and certainly not the working class they claim to represent. Dan Andrews in Victoria was a classic example and he maintained power by telling the masses what they wanted to hear with no genuine interest in problems of substance for the working class. The elite and their politician lap dogs talk of “useless eaters”, but there is nothing more useless than an insincere career politician. I think of the elite as archetypal useless eaters of which Harari is the useless eater in chief.
