I think we need a new thread to glory in liberal tears.
I also want to explore how so many of us got it wrong. I had thought (and said) that the democrats would not let Trump be elected. That they would stop it by any means necessary. So, are they less evil or less effective than i thought?
I guess there could be post election shenanigans, but maybe that isn’t going to happen either?
That’s certainly been the pattern to all of the prior administrations in my lifetime, and government has failed a lot of people over that course.
I’m hopeful of there being some positive changes towards conservative values, but we can’t be fooled into thinking that someone else is going to do all of that work for us. The looming technocracy threat concerns me with Thiel/Palentir’s lapdog and Elon (or is it “El-On”?) Regardless, we have to place our faith in God above all else.
Last time around it was ‘fortified’ to appear close enough that a relatively small number of fake ballots in key swing states decided the election.
This time around, decent people turned out in droves to the extent where you could actually say within hours that Trump had won. No amount of f-ing around with 3am postal votes was going to save them this time.
My guess is that there is still a load of cheating in there, reducing the margin of victory. Trump would do well to announce a public inquiry into voting systems and get the facts out.
I watched some live streaming last night. NBC was interesting. The reactions and denial were fun to watch as the handwriting became clearer on the wall, one of my favorites was Donna Brazile.
Kamala left without speaking because nobody wrote her a concession speech. She can’t speak without a teleprompter.
Some campaign flunkie will have to write one tonight and she’ll read it in the morning. Perhaps not, they may just release a statement that she supposedly wrote and not risk the embarrassment of her messing it up.
Here’s one written by perplexity.ai. Not the whole thing, just an excerpt. Easy peasy. Took about two seconds.
Concession Speech
[Your Name] [Date] [Location] Good evening, everyone. Thank you all for being here tonight and for the incredible support you have shown throughout this campaign. It has been a journey filled with passion, hard work, and dedication, and I am deeply grateful to each and every one of you. As we all know, the results of the election have come in, and while I had hoped for a different outcome, it is clear that the voters have made their choice. I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to [Opponent’s Name] on their victory. This is a time for unity and healing, and I sincerely wish them success as they take on the responsibilities of [Office].
Running for [Office] has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I have met so many incredible people and heard your stories—your hopes, your dreams, and your concerns. Each conversation has fueled my passion for our community and our shared future.
While this campaign may not have ended in victory, I remain committed to the values we championed together: [insert key issues or values you focused on during your campaign]. These issues are still vital to our community, and I encourage all of you to continue advocating for them.
Boy, that’s how I feel too Jane! After years of dread… worrying about whether the Globalists would keep chipping away at our sovereignty through WHO and others… we finally have our shield back in place.
This was a spiritual victory. One person I interact with on X told this story last night, and I will pass it along here. I have personally seen small bits of energy come through from the spiritual realm to our physical realm in a communicative way enough times to believe that this does happen. Here is the story;
Good morning! The most amazing thing happened last night.
As I prayed, asking God for Trump’s protection and win, the wind chime outside my bedroom window suddenly rang with the most beautiful sound. The night was completely still, no breeze at all, and the chime hadn’t moved even once before that moment, nor did it make a sound for the rest of the night.
I believe in signs. When we communicate with God, he often shows us the way. The chime was God saying, “I got this.”
OMG Jim, reading this line gave me waves of “chills,” good chills. Maybe a better way to describe it is waves of something going through my body, giving confirmation to the above. Followed by grateful tears, I soo needed this, we all needed this. Hope, plain and simple- Hope. Much Love to my PP Family!
Looks like the MAHA group will have a majority in house and senate.
