I'm surprised I didn't see grey water collection and use on the list. That's one of the things that makes me cringe in my current kitchen because I know how much perfectly good water is being wasted when I wash dishes or rinse veggies or whatever. Someday soon I'd like to put in a grey water system and instead of that water getting wasted, it will go to irrigate my plants.
