Charlie Kirk's Assassination Sparks Fury, Leftist Glee

Originally published at: https://peakprosperity.com/daily-digest/charlie-kirks-assassination-sparks-fury-leftist-glee/

Conservative activist Charlie Kirk was shot and killed during a speech at the University of Utah’s Losee Center. The shot, fired from a high-powered rifle approximately 200 yards away, struck Kirk in the neck while he was discussing gun violence. The FBI has described the attack as involving a masked gunman dressed in black who escaped undetected after blending into the crowded campus. Former FBI agents and commentators have suggested the incident resembles a “professional hit” due to the precision of the shot. The FBI released a suspect initially detained, but the shooter remains at large. Investigative leads reportedly include the possibility of foreign intelligence involvement, though no conclusive evidence has been confirmed. Podcast host Patrick Bet-David has speculated that a foreign power may be attempting to incite civil unrest in the U.S. through targeted killings. Additionally, some sources have alleged coordinated distractions at the scene, including the presence of individuals potentially aiding the shooter’s escape, though these claims remain unverified. The University of Utah issued a statement condemning the violence and affirming their commitment to free speech and campus safety, while cooperating fully with law enforcement in the investigation.

President Trump delivered an address from the Oval Office, vowing justice for Kirk and ordering flags to be lowered to half-mast in his honor. Trump also attributed the violence to what he described as inflammatory rhetoric from the radical left.

The incident has sparked significant controversy and public reaction. Witnesses reported that protesters at the event were chanting “Kill Charlie Kirk” prior to the shooting. A TikTok post from the day before the incident reportedly warned of danger to Kirk, though its relevance is under investigation. Online responses have varied, with some trans TikTok users and individuals identifying as liberals posting content appearing to celebrate Kirk’s death, often citing his stance on gun rights. Screenshots circulating online also show threats against other public figures, including Trump, J.D. Vance, and Elon Musk. A poll from earlier this year reportedly indicated support among some liberal respondents for violence against figures like Musk and Trump, though the poll’s methodology and context have not been independently verified. Some liberal commentators on social media have argued that such reactions, while controversial, reflect broader frustrations with conservative policies, though they emphasize that violence is not condoned by the majority.

Public figures and institutions have faced scrutiny in the aftermath. MSNBC terminated analyst Matthew Dowd after he suggested Kirk’s rhetoric may have contributed to the attack. Senator Elizabeth Warren and Jen Psaki have publicly stated that Trump’s rhetoric could be a factor in escalating political tensions. Some Democratic lawmakers faced criticism from Congressmen Andy Biggs and Ronny Jackson, who claimed Democrats refused to pray for Kirk and booed during a House floor prayer, though these accounts have not been independently confirmed. Democratic representatives, including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, have clarified that any disruptions during House proceedings were procedural in nature and not intended as disrespect toward Kirk or religious values.

State Rep. Nick Freitas posted a tweet rejecting calls for unity in condemning political violence, while an MTSU Assistant Dean was dismissed after posting content appearing to celebrate Kirk’s death. Fitness personality Jillian Michaels commented on the polarized reactions, stating that students at her daughter’s school expressed positive sentiments about the news. Michael Knowles, a conservative commentator, described Kirk as a figure with significant potential, noting his founding of Turning Point USA at age 18. Separately, prior to his death, Kirk made comments attributing certain political policies to Jewish donors, which have resurfaced in discussions following the shooting. These remarks have drawn criticism from Jewish organizations and commentators who label them as perpetuating harmful stereotypes, calling for a more nuanced discussion on political funding.

The investigation continues as the incident highlights ongoing national debates over free speech, political violence, and accountability.

But it’s true. If the de jure policy is ‘we will end you if you disagree with us’, then disagreeing does contribute to getting ended. Much like if you don’t want to get censored, don’t say anything that will get censored…

As bad as this is, similarly bad things happened during the lockdowns, wherever antifa/commies gathered. ‘Fatigue’ is setting in, but I still don’t see a real change on the horizon - get ready to merely endure more of the same, a little bit louder, a little bit worse.

How did this guy even get ON to the campus? When my son went to USC all parents were issued ID’s which we were expected to show if asked. I hope schools increase their security after this, no copycats! But it’s sad if schools have to go the way of airports. The crappification.

It’s time that the Republican Party wake up and realize we’re no longer in a 1985 RR/Tip O’Neil World. Yes, the Republican Party has issues of it’s own but they’re not pushing this evil.

This is a battle. I look and wonder why all those people that went after Trump in illegal ways are still walking around. No arrests. No trials. Nothing from Bon Bon. Just appearances on Fox News. If the evil at the top remains so do the foot soldiers.

RIP Charlie Kirk. IMHO he was a casualty of the Second American Civil War. Because this one isn’t going to look like soldiers lining up on a battlefield.

Excellent point being made in this tweet. All three of these tend to be concentrations of people coming out of academia, and all three are professions that do work for “the greater good,” although I tend to believe it has more to do with the former. Academia – kindergarten all through higher education – is ground-zero for the cultural decay we’ve experienced.

Presedint Trump considered Charlie Kirk his 4th son. They were that close.

Charlie was an excellent advocate for normal and rational dialog. He was well grounded in the founding principles of the country. Charlie was definitely in the hierarchy to become a Vice President and eventually a phenomenal President.

In a country that qould celebrate its heros, there should be a Charlie Kirk statue or monument in every city. Perhaps as a start, every George Floyd statue should be replaced with Charlie Kirk. This would certainly correct some of the bad FengShui in our cities and culture.

I wiĺl miss you Charlie Kirk. You were a force for what is good and proper in this world.

It definitely has the feel of an operation carried out by an entity with an agenda to undermine society.

Did you see the footage of the shooter escaping off the roof? He did a very professional job of fleeing with his rifle and ammo, got down manually off a pretty high drop and calmly walked away. Did not look like some random woke dweeb high on adrenaline.

Then you get a rifle that shows up in woods nearby with some sort of ‘trans inscriptions’ on the bullets or something … Really? The killer took the care to remove the weapon with him when he fled the scene but then abandons it (to be surely found) in some nearby woods and wouldn’t you believe it, there are lots of neat little ‘clues’ like stuff etched onto bullets? Complete BS.

It also looks like he had accomplices in the crowd who formed a distraction whilst he escaped - witness the number of supposed arrests of the perp who were later released. Those people AND the guy cheering who turned around to exactly where the shooter was and started celebrating as everyone else in the crowd was taking cover for dear life, need to be brought in and interrogated over a number of days.

The actual assassination is horrific enough but probably the real long term worry is the reactions of a LOT of obviously mentally ill people.

The fact that they thought that they could actually take to social media and publicly cheer a heinous murder speaks not only to their personal delusion but also to just how ‘captured’ mainstream society has become.

Some are the usual suspects but also a number of normal looking people who dropped the mask. Remember - those people would find YOUR views equally worthy of the death sentance and they are walking around out there.

It’s the NGOs, which need to be defunded and investigated. Not sure Bon Bon is up to that task though.

Interesting. That raises additional possible motives. All TBD.

Such as: deep state telling Trump to fall in line or else people he cares about will be killed. If they can’t kill Trump himself this is a viable alternative.

I have some unanswered questions if someone could take the time to address these please…

Perhaps Chris can do a summary video on these issues or link me to one that he’s already done please?

  1. Why has trump not blown the lid off his own assignation attempt last year in butler? It’s obvious it was an inside job. And although we don’t really know exactly what happened, we do know it wasn’t what we were told. And Therfore, how come there has been no actual and real investigation into it all to blow the lid off the coverup?

  2. I’m not buying the Robinson shooter patsy story for Charlie when a lot of these details are sketchy and not adding up either.

A) one of Charlie’s security detail behind him with the black sunglasses and black shirt gives a node and then some suspicious looking hand signals before stepping to his right and then the shot was fired that killed Charlie. Stepping to his right like that suggests he was getting out of the line of fire. This is the same SS detail guy that was on Trump’s detail in Butler last year.

B) the man behind Charlie and to the right of the other guy in black (with the white shirt and white hat) also gives some suspicious looking hand signals before the shot was fired as well.

C) and then there’s an older man immediately to Charlie’s right who has his arms folded with something shiny under his left arm. After the shot, the man unfolds his arms revealing what does actually look like a shiny suppressed revolver. The man unfolds his arms and quietly walks away - very suspicious because I mean if your guy was just shot or you hear gun fire, wouldn’t you be on red alert to check Charlie and or be looking for a shooter? Why would you just quietly exit the state to the rear?

D) and then there’s the statement by the alleged shooter’s grandmother who claims Robinson didn’t like guns, had never fired one before and there’s no way he could have done that

E). The suspicious story of the father turning the kid in and the rifle being found in the woods (how convenient) ?

F) the video of the kid running across the roof does not show him carrying a long bolt action rifle and neither does the time of that video give the shooter time to get into position, setup and take the shot. And again, does the acoustic analysis of the gun fire match the distance claimed (200 yards away) ? I’ve heard some speculation that the gun fire heard is too close (no delay) to validate the distance. I don’t know and would like to hear more on this.

Anyway, I am very interested to have these questions answered if someone could take the time to address these for me please.

If needed, perhaps we could start a new “citizens investigation” forum for Charlie like you did for trump last year? Charlie was a good dude and so we must get the truth and to the bottom of all this.

Ps, if the moderators would like me to post different topics for these so we can discuss them individually. Please let me know how to do that or move this to the right place please.

I haven’t seen the footage. I’m not on X/Twitter, and I haven’t looked for it on YouTube yet, coz I figured it’d be censored or blocked or something.

Without seeing the footage, I figured something was fishy coz the shooter got onto a university campus, with a rifle, that no-one noticed; he was a good shot (it’s not that easy to hit such a small target at 180yds); and he managed to get away with said rifle without anyone noticing.

It’s all a bit dodgy to me.

And the guy they’ve got is supposed to be some sort of trans activist? How convenient.

As Chris has said in the past, the public’s reaction is the desired goal of the elites. Hopefully we conservative types can disappoint them again by not going mental like the lefties do.

There’s more reasonable and responsible ways to respond to this shooting, that don’t involve killing people or burning down cities. I hope conservatives use those options, and don’t allow themselves to be goaded or baited.

Maybe the guy with the shiny revolver was meant to do the job if the main shooter missed?

I tried to read NYP article. Something in that is off. Unfair that person himself cannot answer anymore, people are talking on behalf.

These ‘off-points’ keep piling up from this event, same as from Butler PA.

I can see potential that Trump is “safe” as president but in mafia style they keep taking off his closest people one by one. Who that “they” are, likely various groups who have aligning interests. FBI for example isnt purged after Butler. What are Tucker and Owens doing there, stirring pot so to speak.

EDIT: this article piece feels distraction to steer attention and discussion. Perhaps opportunistic red herring. Laurens viewpoint suggests Charlie was steered to a trap.
