Corporate vs Oligarchic Power; Here Come the Internment Camps

Originally published at: https://peakprosperity.com/daily-digest/corporate-vs-oligarchic-power-here-come-the-internment-camps/

US Election

The upcoming election is described by the Chris Hedges Report as a choice between two forms of capitalism: corporate power, represented by Kamala Harris, and oligarchic power, symbolized by Donald Trump. The report argues that both forms exploit the public and concentrate wealth among the billionaire class. It suggests that corporate power seeks stability to protect long-term investments, while oligarchic power thrives on chaos and deregulation, often supported by private equity firms prioritizing short-term gains. These firms, associated with figures like Elon Musk and Peter Thiel, are accused in the report of undermining democratic processes and contributing to a neo-feudal society. The report further suggests that both political paths perpetuate a system excluding the public from meaningful participation.

In Pennsylvania, Trump supporters are reportedly receiving threatening letters from individuals identified as radical leftists. These letters, using fake Trump campaign letterheads, reportedly start as thank-you notes but quickly turn ominous, accusing recipients of supporting a “felon, rapist, desecrator” and blaming them for political violence. The letters allegedly contain personal threats, suggesting potential harm to recipients’ homes and families, and end with a menacing promise of future visits. Despite the lack of actionable evidence, this purported campaign of intimidation highlights the intense political tensions and concerns for safety among Trump supporters in the area.

In a related narrative, a documentary titled “Treason” claims that the U.S. federal government is constructing internment camps for political dissidents across all 50 states. Former Customs and Border Protection agent J.J. Carrell, featured in the documentary, presents a whistleblower’s allegations that these facilities resemble Nazi concentration camps and are intended for processing dissidents, including MAGA supporters and those refusing government mandates. Carrell criticizes the Biden administration for allegedly weaponizing the judicial system against political opponents. The documentary, set for release in October 2024, argues that the government’s actions during the COVID-19 pandemic demonstrate its potential to imprison non-compliant citizens. This narrative contributes to the ongoing discourse on political division and government power in the United States.

This was an excellent write up that gives me hope that people are starting to see all of this shit for what it is (it’s all shit).

1/3 of these stories appears legit. 2 of these look like BS propaganda.

I followed the link on the FEMA camp article & checked out some other articles on the guy’s site. It looks like total garbage. There was one article about Houston special forces taking out FEMA officials in Houston. I live 10 minutes from the supposed address & I can assure you with 99.9999% confidence that it is complete BS.

I’m glad that PP subscribers share, but fear porn starts to discredit the site.

I was following the source to the letter mentioned above. It is not threatening in the sense of “we know who you are, see you at the purge!” but actually is summarizing the facts. Listen to Trump carefully. He says what he plans, this is not just campaign noise. You get Trump, you can forget democracy and free speech. As Americans you should know that free speech is also protecting inconvenient speech, from whatever side it is spoken. Trump wants to persecute the left for speaking up against him, wants to bring in the army against the “enemy within”, which is clearly authoritarism and totalitarianism in action. We are leaving the sphere from media manipulation and actual going physically against citizen. Just because it is the share of people who you don’t like, it doesn’t make it right.

I thought for the Ivor feature there was some filtering happening.

How to balance then other side, “machinery” goes after X and platforms if they are dissidents of official guidelines. Ugly thing is then both sides are doing this. How to pick bad apples or oranges.

Exactly right. Without a doubt there are many (many) people who should be tried for everything from treason to crimes against humanity, but the momentum behind MAGA and the technocrats is such that they can pave right over the 1st Amendment and make virtually ALL dissent illegal.

If everything that Trump and his camp have been saying are carried out as agendas, I can imagine that they will make a huge spectacle out of it in the media / alt-prop media - except the actual villains behind the curtain will remain nameless and untouchable. While this circus goes on, the other hand (the hidden hand) will be putting the government on blockchain as everything and everyone gets wired into the Web3 based control grid of totalitarianism.

It’ll seem great to the Libertarian-Conservatives for a couple/few years, until one day all of those new statutes, laws, and policies that were created to attack “the left” are turned around and aimed at them. By then, it’ll be too late for the masses to realize that they were played like a fiddle.

seems a bit like the left always projects onto trump what they plan on doing themselves. The ONLY party prosecuting their political oponents is the LEFT. They’ve gone full commie. I’d rather take trump and have him deport all illegals than anything the dems want.
I’d also rather risk the right at this point who may curtail freedoms than the left who is already doing it and brags about it. The left is the one who says mean words= violence. The left is the one who locked up J6 protestors. I might not agree with thw right on much but i do agree the left needs to be stopped. I just pray the pendulumn doesn’t swing back too far the ither way.

Former lefty here! Back in the day the left was the side that vehemently defended free speech, a la Ira Glasser and the ACLU of old whose stated mission was to uphold the Constitution. Currently the left is being played like a fiddle, next turn it’s the right. Brilliant move by TPTB! I keep saying there’s something “they” want Trump in power to do. The “only Nixon can go to China” thing. Don’t know what that is but I suspect we’ll find out.

Yeah my folks (boomers) grep up in the last true era of Classical Liberalism. Pretty amazing how all of the free loving hippies of that time went on to become aligned with neocon ideology after the Vietnam war ended.

The co-opting of “the left” and Liberalism is an excellent case study in gnostocism and the Hegelian dialectic. You know how effective it is when the majority don’t even fully realize that their ideology has been hijacked.

I’ve listened to several lectures and podcasts on gnosticism, and it’s been used numerous times in the past for political and social uprooting (going back at least 2 millennia). With each iterative resurgence, the base ideology / pseudo-religion adapts with some new flavor that’s tailored to the historical time period and political / social climate. It’s almost always completely defeated in the end by truth.

It’s very fascinating to me. I was never big into philosophy growing up, but as you start to really pay attention to current events like we have today, and you go down the various rabbit holes and side tunnels, you will eventually find gnosticism to be an obvious common denominator, and it certainly doesn’t get the full attention that it deserves. That puts us at a great disadvantage to fight it off, as it sets us all up in traps after traps (e.g. in the wokeism flavor, where our actions are their real actions).

Ultimately we have to create our own change in this world to deprecate it, but the longer it’s able to fester and co-opt the new generations and replace what is real with it’s artificially created hyper-realities - the greater the pain, suffering (famine, wars, diseases), which will require another mass movement of society towards God, empathy, and truth.

Obama was the final bamboozle of the left. A neoliberal corporatist who sold out his country for his book deal mansions and a good life for himself. I suspect something is in store for Trump and the right. Who knows? Maybe you’re correct about the gnostics being at the core of this.

You should listen to the segment about the CIA funded concentration camps for Gaza on tonight’s Redacted show. It’s a model they will try and replicate elsewhere.

It’s usually pretty good, but this one was a little tricky.

The facility article was/is probably legit & passed the basic filters , but the vast number of articles on the site it came from were pretty clearly BS plants from a site that smelled fishy to me as being a (conservative conspiracy theory trapping & tagging site).

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while though, so who knows.
It’s harder & harder to separate truth from fiction though, so I’ve just gotten into the habit of assessing my information sources for vulnerabilities.

Chris has earned my trust for his stuff - with others, I keep my guard up higher.

Although we do screen submissions to the Daily Digest, it is more based on relevance to the topics typically discussed at Peak Prosperity; we don’t aim to be the arbiters of truth in this column. I would encourage others to submit their own sources of information to the Digest. The best way to combat “bad” information is with “good” information. Thanks, everybody, for your contributions (both the source material as well as the comments).
