You got it right on the hybrid vehicles. Check out the second generation Chevy Volt. I got a 2017 two years ago with zero problems we get 40 miles of range and charge it from our solar system. It is an amazing over engineered vehicle that Chevrolet had no clue how to market. For long distance we have over 300 miles of gas in the tank. And it came with a 120 volt charger that plugs in anywhere you can find an outlet if you are in a bind. You could carry a solar array and charge it slowly from that if you had to bug out. It balances out my Land Cruiser with 14 MPG.

Not really… just trying it out. People have been saying it blows the doors off of GPT…so, why not?

I don’t think there’s any need to be loyal to a tool. Try them all. Use the ones which fit a purpose.

It is interesting that MKUltra and Mind Control come up (when weird shit happens).

Not Project Monarch, though? Which makes sense, since it has always been denied. Not so MKUltra, which received a lot of exposure over 20 years, and after it was ā€˜stopped.’ At the time, it was a sledgehammer approach to mind control–drugs, electro-shocks, physical/sexual abuse, sensory deprivation, hypnosis etc. The trouble with sledgehammers is they leave massive bruises–easily detected. Over 70 years, how far has it developed?

Project Monarch (if it existed) allegedly took its name from the butterfly that instinctively migrates over generations–that is, the genome incorporates non-physical attributes, which is somewhat substantiated in its genome sequencing, btw.
What would such an approach offer? Perhaps infinitely more powerful than MKUltra, but with a laser scalpel. Aspects of the human psyche would become part of one’s DNA. But what aspects? What you had for breakfast on Jan 1st, 2020? Hardly! A killer instinct that lies dormant until activated? And if it was activated a generation later, would it account for some of the seemingly irrational shootings?

Sidestepping, Jungian archetypes offer potential insight: we come preprogrammed with instincts, which means they MUST be genetically encoded. Jung also proposed a deep subconscious, and later, talked of depth psychology. While Monarch Mind Control advocates argue for a trauma-based process, Jungian psychology offers a far-less invasive process. Maybe it is time for a rethink of MK-Ultra?
Tap into the deep subconscious by deep hypnosis, and you might have a Las Vegas shooter, Trump shooter, etc all without leaving ā€˜memories’ behind.

We had a 2012 Chevy Volt and loved it. Sadly, General Motors drank the zero-carbon kool-aid and decided to go all-electric by the time the Volt died. We bought a Toyota Prius plug-in last year. It has a 120V outlet @1000 watts in the hatch and Toyota is considering adding a 240V outlet which would power our well.

Yeah, that’s a pretty heroic size, isn’t it? LOL!

Yeah, but I’m concerned about that gallon jug of milk on the background desk spoiling…

I actually signed up for PP because of the interview between Chris and Bret Weinstein. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to listen to a conversation with Dave Collum added to the mix!!!

BTW.. Great listen. Enjoyed how you started wrapping up 2 hours in and we got a bonus of another hour.

When I first saw this posted, I said, out loud to no one, ā€œWhooooooa Nellieā€

I’m halfway through and Mr. Collum does not disappoint. This quote is epic: ā€œTell me there shouldn’t be a revolution over that. If someone cleaned me out of my net worth, i swear… I’m not gonna starve to death. I’m going out in a blaze of glory. I am going to find that CEO of that private equity firm that did that to me and they’re going to the light with me. That’s a promise. I owe society that.ā€

I’ve actually been worrying about this for a while now. As more and more people get pushed to the edge financially, I expect there to be a skyrocketing number of people who say F it and decide to go out in a blaze of glory, taking as many others with them as possible. (Not saying that Mr. Collum would shoot innocent bystanders, but other people will.)

I watched the first hour and 1/4 and stopped. It struck me that Dave was coming across as a shock jockey, which left me wondering if he was inflating some of the material. I felt like the rat getting shocked in the cage. Probably good advice for a politician to avoid private parties.

RE: MK Ultra- schools doing IQ tests and putting kids on buses…

back in the early 80s’s in 6th grade i was given another IQ test and my parents were called in to talk someone at the school… apparently my mechanical comprehension triggered a flag being too high ā€œsure the hell wasn’t my writing skills :)ā€ and the ā€œdistrict repā€ convinced my parents I needed to go and I got put on one of those buses in 6th grade.. apparently they were told it was flagged in 5th grade too but my teacher at the time didn’t like my resistance to doing things EXACLTY the way I was told had contested it so I missed the bus in 5th grade . So in 6th grade Tuesdays and Thursdays I went on the normal bus to school and then got shuttled onto a new bus at my normal school and then got shuttled to a a different and ā€œempty school with a special teacherā€ I knew some of the kids from my school there were about 4 or 5 of us" I believe they shuttled in kids from the other grade schools in the district.. as the entire class was somewhere between 20-30 kids as well as later in high school the same kids were there..

I remember doing many different mock scenarios.. or LARPing. the big one was a Mock United Nations we prepped for many weeks that was eventually held in the Portland convention center downtown for a multi day event for all the local schools… each of us was given a country ā€œI represented Indiaā€ and it was boring so what # of countries there were was the actual number of us there I think around ~200 I don’t know if the was from the entire state or just regionally but there were not a lot of us… but it gives you an idea of the size of the program..

Another one was recreating a Mock murder trial.. each of us was assigned as witness, a lawyer, a jury member, judge, victim or criminal again in another several week Larping event.. I was bored in this one

again I wasn’t very popular with the teacher or the class…creativity seemed more group think vs individual, the goal was never stated… you are ā€œthis personā€ here is their background…go I was often bored…

One scenario that I finally thought i did well in, I remember inadvertently single handedly had prematurely cancelled… and became a black sheep of the class after..

It was a star wars type scenario where a rebel faction had broken off from the empire… they had assigned me as the captain of a starship of the empire and they had left creative loop holes where you could assign resources to advancing your production…being a huge Battlestar Galactica fan, I love strategy so I built new starship models, theoretic specs on warp drives and lasers and got them approved and ended up with a ship with twice the range twice the speed, twice the fire power and ended up destroying 1/2 the rebel fleet and and crippling the other half and demanding their unconditional surrender… I thought I ā€œwonā€ but the Larp was suddenly dropped and never finished and we moved on to another one.. and never returned.. at the end of the year I was finally able to get my teacher to answer what happened… apparently " again these goals were never stated" i missed the secret goal… it was not to eliminate the opponent but to get the empire and rebels to come to negotiate a settlement… plus apparently ā€œand this is a theme for meā€ I found cracks and loop holes and creatively used them to an ā€œunintended advantageā€ and she had to cancel the scenario because I had "polluted "it… opps i had liked that one :frowning:

I never thought much of the experience… I mean skipping regular homework twice a week was cool, saying you went to special class " in a good way" was kinda cool with my parents although a curse with the jocks… +the shy cute girl I liked got on the same bus and class although i lacked any game. But I got the sense from the teacher i wasn’t conforming or doing things right especially after the star wars scenario, and I didn’t get along with the group think like the others…and they made that clear in my lack of popularity… But we were given little to no guidance, objective or instructions… so whats a 12 year old supposed to do?

Now this Mk-ultra talk recruiting got me a little nervous especially with the whole UN Larping " vs what i think the UN is now"

and no directions… just go kids play this Larping scenario…

was it maybe some kind program clearing house of behavioral personally testing in this empty school? were we being watched.. definitely at the convention center.. even being filmed… but i got a minor role then India then wasnt the power house it is today.. the teachers pets got US russia, japan germany UK

were there 2 way mirrors or camera was this program possibly a clearing house for MKUltra candidates or Young Global Leaders… no idea just thought Id share my experience with the IQ tests and buses… I guess if it was ,I failed when i polluted star wars scenario, I dont think any of the graduate would have had to mop floors at night to pay for community college like i did .. no vice president roles or day care business in my future i guess… well at least with the whole mechanical comprehension thing it make sense I love to rebuild old cars…

It sounds like you were in a gifted kids program with a collaborative emphasis on problem solving–can’t have those gifted kids standing out individually. The 80s were a time when gifted kids were considered a national resource–most of the programs ended so no kid was left behind, or pushed ahead. More recently, it was DEI that prevented high IQ kids from getting advanced teaching.
BTW, the teachers of gifted kids should be as smart as the kids, but usually are not.

This triggers a memory for me. In 9th? grade, I was placed in a mensa program. Didn’t have to take an off campus bus, but the entire experience was…lame.

I was expecting to be taught something…anything, cuz this is school, right? Nope, it was all about what if scenarios, role playing and being constantly reminded that we were ā€œspecial.ā€ Looking back, I now see clearly that it was to distinguish the conformity level amongst the high IQ students.

Me? They kicked my ass out within the first semester. According to my Mother, they found me ā€œtoo mouthy.ā€

Yeah, the MK Ultra stuff is a bit too kookie. Charlie Kirk’s wife an MK Ultra assassin? Seriously? That went into space aliens in underground antarctic pyramid territory. I love the Collum interview but the crazy was dialed up a scoonch towards eleven this year.

Yes, Exactly Larry. Monarch Butterfly Project tortures to the point of splitting personalities…torture is too tame of a word. Maybe someday, down the road, you will open yourself up enough to look directly into the face of evil…it is real.
