Thanks for the discussion and insight on the topic of putting one’s house into a trust. It sounds like it wouldn’t help if I have a mortgage, given that the paper is paper at the bank… hmmmm…

Where do you get your water tested?

There is a soil, water, and forage testing lab at Texas A&M, in College Station, TX
Usually a private well owner can contact their county health department. In TX a lot of their tests are done at A&M.
The providers of water filtration systems test quarterly after system installs but I recommend finding a good source to check their work.

Yes indeed. I take this finding very seriously. So do family members with the same finding. The thought of children drinking water with any arsenic content makes me crazy.
There are many advantages to a Trust. Another that hasn’t been mentioned yet, is it can protect your adult children’s assets in the event of a divorce. A divorced spouse cannot gain access to assets listed in a Trust.
Perfect interview. But what about Andrew Wakefield? He falsified the data.
On another note, would love to read that book that is coming out soon on the climate change -who is the author supposed to be?
