Did the Fed Begin Stealth QE? If So, That Has Huge Implications

I believe the consensus is that they’d be forced to reveal the house is built on dust. Even Trump’s A Team will likely need more time to align some type of a solution before going after that beast.

Just for context; the US went with uranium technology over thorium back in the 60’s because uranium reactors produce uranium and plutonium needed for nuclear weapons (for the cold war), while thorium reactors do not.
How relevant are nuclear weapons, still? I guess India and Pakistan may give us an indication of that.

I doubt so. Expanding to new business, as heavily regulated as energy seems unlikely unless they can lobby regulation changes by their “needs” that way. I could see that extreme lobbying but still doubt big industries can do that as google etc have trouble keeping focus in anything else than high profit margin segments in their conglomerate(Microsoft has this same tendency, see how skype was killed, google has whole site dedicated to killed projects, while MS deserves one but dont have it).

However giant corporations have so fat bank account they can simply leverage trends, spend billions to energy and use that as excuse why regulation needs to change for them… couple years later they can ditch whole energy and outsource it to zero margin contractors once goals are cemented in regulation giving them all power and no accountability (pharma covid style).

It’s in the works already: IEEE article.

I expect it’s why the US does not want direct conflict with Russia, China, and worries about Iran pursuing them.

What if it wasn’t genuine? If you entertain that thought, current events may begin to make sense.
