Epstein Cover-Up: Worse Than the Crime Itself?

Originally published at: https://peakprosperity.com/the-signal-hour-today-at-1pm/

Today, Evie and I dive into a deeply troubling topic that’s got me fired up: the Epstein case. We’ve been dissecting whether the cover-up surrounding Jeffrey Epstein’s death is worse than the horrific crimes he committed. The scale of deception and evasion we’re uncovering is staggering, and it’s clear this issue has struck a nerve across the political spectrum—people are fed up.

We started by analyzing a startling Joe Rogan interview with Kash Patel, where his awkward pauses and evasive rhetoric screamed dishonesty. Patel, claiming to work tirelessly with the FBI and DOJ, promised video footage of Epstein’s cell, yet contradicted years of claims that no such video existed due to malfunctioning cameras. His vague statements about being “allowed” to release information raised red flags—who’s above him dictating what can be shared? We dug into the footage details, revealing a single, low-quality camera that barely captured anything relevant, with missing minutes and altered aspect ratios suggesting tampering. Wired magazine later confirmed the “raw” footage was edited using Adobe Premiere Pro, assembled from multiple clips, and falsely presented as unedited by the DOJ. This isn’t just a glitch; it’s deception, fueling a massive credibility crisis.

The physical evidence of Epstein’s death doesn’t add up either—ligature marks and broken bones point to homicide, not suicide, despite official narratives. Then there’s the earlier alleged suicide attempt in July, where video evidence was conveniently “destroyed” or “misplaced” despite preservation requests from Epstein’s lawyers. Patel’s insistence that Epstein’s suicide is an established fact falls apart under scrutiny, especially with his weak deflections like, “Do you really think I wouldn’t give you the evidence if it existed?” Yes, Kash, I do think that, given the FBI’s track record of failing to preserve evidence or protect victims.

Politically, this is explosive. Trump’s response has been a disaster—dismissing the Epstein case as a “hoax” and alienating supporters by calling them “weaklings” for seeking justice. Standing next to Howard Lutnick, a neighbor of Epstein’s with questionable ties, didn’t help his optics. Polls from Rasmussen Reports show 68% of Americans, across all political lines, believe the case isn’t closed and demand accountability for powerful offenders. This isn’t partisan; it’s about justice. Tucker Carlson nailed it: the frustration comes from watching a certain class get away with everything, every time.

We also touched on the broader “enshitification” of our country—neglect in infrastructure like the unrebuilt Baltimore bridge, lack of flood warnings in Texas, and absurd laws like Oregon requiring permits for inner tubes. It’s a deliberate demoralization, a symptom of empire decline. The Epstein cover-up fits this pattern, fracturing trust and society itself. I believe this is intentional, designed to divide us, as I’ve explored in my “Rats in a Cage” episode on Peak Prosperity.

Ultimately, this is about power and consequences—or the lack thereof. If a group can commit heinous acts without repercussions, we’ve lost control of our nation. I’m calling for accountability; consequences shouldn’t just be for the little people. Join me at Peak Prosperity to dig deeper into these issues and build resilience. We’re on a slippery slope, and without justice, society risks imploding. Let’s keep pushing for truth.

I’m not sure if we’re still doing questions, but here’s mine all the same:
It feels like we’ve been entirely and thoroughly failed — from the economy, to Epstein, to World War III. The decisions made by our “leaders” always seem to land somewhere between bad and worse.

Is collapse the only cure at this point?

Armstrong always says that money moves in advance of events. Just one more example. The airline stocks shorted right before 9/11 is another example.

Let’s talk about something else. We all know what happened here. They’ll all get a pass. What are we not paying attention to? What is Genius Act?

Then who does the rebuilding? A community that is cohesive, has its own structures and that has some standards, some rules and conservative values that people crave in a nation that is cutting the genitals off kids.

Who might they be?

The muslims.

But there might come a time when their conservatism is welcomed. Like when the Barbarians were welcomes into Rome. Whether they are welcomed or not, it might just be a question of time and maths until they are in charge. Especially as they tend to vote as a block, whereas we are all divided (we have been deliberately divided).

I said years ago that women should realise that all the rights they have are granted to them, and enforced by, men.

So they should be careful re the men who they let in. But, in the main, they champion immigration and diversity. They know not what they do. Is that Luke @jsmithtx ?

Thanks, Chris and Evie. I got to watch live today as it’s raining here and I couldn’t be in the garden. I am convinced that Jeffery Epstein did not kill himself, and that elites or powers that be have found a way to shut Kash Patel, Dan Bongino, and others’ mouths. The only solace I have is that God sees. He knows, and He will make all things right. That gives me peace.

Time to hop in the tractor… or work on the trench bottom for my “in progress” power shed… or till in the garden… or fix the clang clang sound of the lawn mower the grandson created… or cut up some more logs left in the pile from early spring before they rot… or go check on the beaver dam to see if I got that little ^%#$@ the other day as I lay in wait at the dam near dusk… Plant a garden sure does come with a lot of or… 's

A Psalm of Life

“Tell me not, in mournful numbers,
Life is but an empty dream!—
For the soul is dead that slumbers,
And things are not what they seem.

Life is real! Life is earnest!
And the grave is not its goal;
Dust thou art, to dust returnest,
Was not spoken of the soul.

Not enjoyment, and not sorrow,
Is our destined end or way;
But to act, that each to-morrow
Find us farther than to-day.

Art is long, and Time is fleeting,
And our hearts, though stout and brave,
Still, like muffled drums, are beating
Funeral marches to the grave.

In the world’s broad field of battle,
In the bivouac of Life,
Be not like dumb, driven cattle!
Be a hero in the strife!

Trust no Future, howe’er pleasant!
Let the dead Past bury its dead!
Act,—act in the living Present!
Heart within, and God o’erhead!

Lives of great men all remind us
We can make our lives sublime,
And, departing, leave behind us
Footprints on the sands of time;

Footprints, that perhaps another,
Sailing o’er life’s solemn main,
A forlorn and shipwrecked brother,
Seeing, shall take heart again.

Let us, then, be up and doing,
With a heart for any fate;
Still achieving, still pursuing,
Learn to labor and to wait.”

I think an episode is long overdue about the “Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion.” The episode need not be about Jews. SOMEONE in this world is obviously following the exact script laid out in the Protocols almost word for word.

The book only takes one afternoon to read. But if the book is too much trouble to read, Janet Ossebaard has made a captivating presentation on it. The main part starts at 6:30, but the good parts for us are at timestamps 8:50 and 18:37 onwards:

Some tantalizers:

Protocol 5:
10
In order to put public opinion into our hands we must bring it into a state of bewilderment by giving … so many contradictory opinions … [that] the goyim will lose their heads in the labyrinth and come to see that the best thing is to have no opinion of any kind in matters political, which it is not given to the public to understand, because they are understood only by him who guides the public.

11
The second secret requisite for the success of our government is comprised in the following: To multiply to such an extent national failings, habits, passions, conditions of civil life, that it will be impossible for anyone to know where he is in the resulting chaos, so that the people in consequence will fail to understand one another. This measure will also serve us in another way, namely, to sow discord in all parties, to dislocate all collective forces which are still unwilling to submit to us, and to discourage any kind of personal initiative which might in any degree hinder our affair. There is nothing more dangerous than personal initiative; if it has genius behind it, such initiative can do more than can be done by millions of people among whom we have sown discord. We must so direct the education of the goyim communities that whenever they come upon a matter requiring initiative they may drop their hands in despairing impotence. The strain which results from freedom of action saps the forces when it meets with the freedom of another. From this collision arise grave moral shocks, disenchantments, failures. By all these means we shall so wear down the GOYIM that they will be compelled to offer us international power of a nature that by its position will enable us without any violence gradually to absorb all the State forces of the warld and to form a Super-Government. In place of the rulers of today we shall set up a bogey which will be called the Super-Government Administration. It’s hands will reach out in all directions like nippers and its organisation will be of such colossal dimensions that it cannot fail to subdue all the nations of the world.

Protocol 9, Paragraph 4:
It is from us that the all-engulfing terror proceeds. We have in our service persons of all opinions, of all doctrines, restorating monarchists, demagogues, socialists, communists, and utopian dreamers of every kind. We have harnessed them all to the task: each one of them on his own account is boring away at the last remnants of authority, is striving to overthrow all established form of order. By these acts all States are in torture; they exhort to tranquility, are ready to sacrifice everything for peace: but we will not give them peace until they openly acknowledge our international Super-Government, and with submissiveness.

Protocol 10:
10
… we replaced the ruler by a caricature of a government - by a president, taken from the mob, from the midst of our puppet creatures, our slaves.

13
… we shall arrange elections in favor of such presidents as have in their past some dark, undiscovered secret… [This will make them] trustworthy agents for the accomplishment of our plans out of fear of exposure and from the natural desire of everyone who has attained power, namely, the retention of the privileges, advantages and honour connected with the office of president. The chamber of deputies will provide cover for, will protect, will elect presidents, but we shall take from it the right to propose new, or make changes in existing laws, for this right will be given by us to the responsible president, a puppet in our hands.

Protocol 13, Paragraph 14
The part played by the liberals, utopian dreamers, will be finally played out when our government is acknowledged. Till such time they will continue to do us good service. Therefore we shall continue to direct their minds to all sorts of vain conceptions of fantastic theories, new and apparently progressive.

I don’t think lying can be worse than child rape. It is the worst crime one person can do to another as far as I’m concerned.

Stealing truth is an awful crime.
It was the first crime committed, according to lore.

Yes, but in my world (and a lot of people agree with me) doing that to a child is way worse.

Stealing truth was the first crime, how so?

A rewrite of the Wired piece:

"There is no evidence that clearly points to either deceptive editing of the footage or the lack thereof. But there is clear evidence that it was edited by a certain MJCole using software that is capable of deceptive editing with almost 3 minutes removed and that it was reassembled from 4 separate clips. It was also claimed to be “raw” footage by none other than Kash Patel. It seems that the best working hypothesis for any detective worthy of the title would be that the video was deceptively edited to hide the entry and exit of Epstein’s murderer from the footage.
