Epstein’s Empire, Elite Evasions, and Lost Trust

Originally published at: https://peakprosperity.com/the-signal-hour-today-at-1pm-et-9/

Today on The Signal Hour, a particularly intense episode focused on the Jeffrey Epstein case. Evie and I looked into what I perceive as a stark illustration of the decline of empire, marked by systemic failures and potential cover-ups within major institutions like the DOJ and FBI.

We began by discussing the controversial DOJ-FBI memo released on a Sunday, which lacked signatures, footnotes, or clear attribution, raising immediate red flags. The memo claimed no incriminating client list or evidence of Epstein blackmailing prominent individuals was found, despite acknowledging over 1,000 victims. This assertion felt hollow, especially given the lack of transparency about victim interviews or forensic investigations. The DOJ’s servers being down for nearly two days post-release only deepened suspicions of obfuscation.

We explored the inconsistencies in the official narrative, particularly around Epstein’s death. Kash Patel’s June appearance on The Joe Rogan Show promised transparency, including cell block video footage, yet the released video was grainy, missing a critical minute, and failed to show Epstein’s cell door. This, combined with a frame shift and reports of a prisoner in orange moving after lockdown hours, undermines claims that Epstein’s death was a clear suicide. Patel’s rhetorical deflections—asking, “Do you think we’d hide this?”—avoided direct accountability, further eroding trust.

We also examined the FBI’s mishandling of raids on Epstein’s properties. The Little St. James Island raid occurred two days after his death, allowing ample time for evidence tampering. The New York townhouse raid on July 6, 2019, uncovered fake passports, diamonds, and hard drives, but agents left them behind due to lacking a warrant, only to find them gone four days later. The absence of a raid on Epstein’s Zorro Ranch in New Mexico, despite allegations of surveillance rooms and trafficking, was particularly glaring. These oversights suggest either gross incompetence or deliberate protection of powerful figures.

Epstein’s wealth—$577 million from a math teacher’s salary—raises obvious questions. Payments like Leon Black’s $170 million for “tax advice” and Leslie Wexner’s transfer of a $13 million townhouse for $1 scream of potential blackmail or illicit dealings, yet no thorough investigation followed. Victims like Virginia Giuffre and Maria Farmer provided credible allegations of hidden cameras and abuse, yet these leads seem ignored.

The episode also touched on broader societal implications, drawing parallels to a “fourth turning” crisis of lost faith in institutions—DOJ, FBI, CDC, FDA, education, and more. The Epstein case exemplifies this rot, with powerful figures like Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, and others appearing in flight logs, yet facing no scrutiny. We discussed how this systemic failure fuels public anger and division, fracturing movements like MAGA.

This segment, though heavy, underscores our commitment to truth and accountability, urging listeners to stay vigilant and resilient in the face of institutional decay.

Hi Chris, curious as to how JPMorgans chart regarding oil demand exceeding supply in summer of 2025 is playing out. Regardless of broader geopolitical shenanigans, should we still be expecting fuel values (Regardless of price) to soon begin their relentless march upwards, and push past market manipulations? Or maybe we’re already seeing it play out with the so called ‘cost of living crisis’ as the ultimate downstream effects of a slow and steady reduction in resource units per person.

Chris, you or someone on the forum, years and years ago pointed out that every single country that traded/sold oil outside of the Petrodollar had been taken down. Either by military or financial destruction. Did Iran and their oil trade with China fall into this same pattern?

Hi Chris, can you comment on the possibilities of a pivot back to coal burning power plants? I remember hearing (many years ago) that the US had 400-years of energy generation in underground coal. I think that stat is likely bogus, but I’m wondering if zero point energy doesn’t get disclosed soon, we might need to generate electricity (to power those AI data centers) with coal. Thoughts?

How long would it last with doubling power usage due to datacenters? Or even tripling looking all that is happening… 50-100 years? Assuming best scenario it can be dug out to the last ounce.

You might want to have a look at this article that Gail Tverberg wrote back in March of this year. You might want to ask her that question yourself as she deals with the topic of Energy and has a different take than others do like Art Berman.

Excerpt: [2] Another energy limit we are hitting is coal.

“The problem coal seems to have is the same as the problem diesel has. There is a huge quantity of coal resources available, but the price never seems to rise high enough for long enough for producers to truly ramp up production, especially relative to the ever-growing world population. Coal is especially needed now, with intermittent wind and solar leaving large gaps in electricity generation that need to be filled by burning some fossil fuel. Coal is much easier to ship and store than natural gas. Oil is convenient for electricity balancing, but it tends to be high-priced.”

My wife’s closest friend for over 50 years asked me about ivermectin and if I knew any resources about it for cancer. A quick search on Peak Prosperity brought up scientific studies and the associated websites. There’s more to the story but it’s just one of dozens of reasons for me as to why I subscribe. It’s not just a good website in your favorites. It’s real data and real science backed information and hopefully for Mrs Logger’s best friend, life saving. Thanks Chris and Evie (and the brilliant contributors).

Two things i thought of with the flight list ant phone tracking:

  • those who were in proximity of JE, went to his islands etc., probably have some sort of burner or untraceable phones, perhaps use some sort of satellite connection. They may even leave their regular phone home and switch the other one on while on the island or something along those lines. There are ways to bypass tracking, especially on that level. All their phones may not even be registered to their names.
  • People can get on and off the islands by boat/ yacht. That is one way they could leave by plane without coming by one, just as someone can get there by plane without being on the record by ever leaving the island the same way. Yachts are under less scrutiny that planes, especially if you have private docks to arrive at (let alone private islands).

This guy “found” the Epstein client list. Looks like he actually did a lot of real journalism over this topic.

Chris, you might want to interview this Ryan Dawson guy.

In the words of Watson, “no sh*t Sherlock”.

Journalist Nick Bryant notes in this viral clip from the Shawn Ryan podcast that the Jeffrey Epstein case is being covered up by the federal government and will never progress because it would destroy their entire operational system.

“Epstein had cameras in all of his homes. Epstein was definitely a blackmail artist,” Bryant notes.

“The government wants to make sure that that does not come out. A huge part of our political system is predicated on blackmail,” he adds.

Pam Blondi claims she had the Epstein file on her desk, along with the JFK and RFK files. She’ll clearly never tell the truth but someone should ask how big her desk is or what constituted a “file” in this case. The complete investigative files for any one of those three cases would include hundreds of banker’s boxes of documents plus shelves and shelves of physical objects. Clearly all that couldn’t be on any desk in the world. So IF Blondi had ANY files they would have been brief summaries of the investigations. What was allegedly in the Epstein summary file?

When Patel says, “We’ll release what we’re allowed to release,” someone should ask who’s granting the permission. Clearly, the CIA will be the most important grantor of permission because, as Acosta said, Epstein “belonged to intelligence.” And we all know what happens if you release secret information the CIA doesn’t want you to release. If you don’t, ask Snowden or Assange.

You forgot to add:

Pam Bondi described the contents of the Jeffrey Epstein files as “shocking” during an interview with Fox News host Jesse Watters on February 26, 2025. She stated, “It’s pretty sick what that man did,” referring to Epstein’s actions, in the context of announcing that the files would be released the following day, February 27, 2025.

I think all this Epstein stuff just makes it ever clearer (or at least, this is what it says to me, anyway) that the USA is not being run by who you’re being led to believe it’s being run by (the whole of the western world, for that matter, but this topic largely keeps the focus on the USA), and the government/Administration/‘leadership’ is an increasingly ridiculous and disconnected fringe theatre that also seems to be getting increasingly distant from wherever it is that latent power is transformed into what actually goes down in the country.

If the USA was a car, then hidden somewhere deep under all the metal and plastic housing there’s some clutch-like device where the power from the engine is engaged to make the wheels go. But you can almost never see this, and few people actually know what it looks like or truly comprehend how it works. In the meanwhile there’s a clown mannequin dummy in the driver’s seat drawing everybody’s attention, while control of direction is actually being controlled remotely by: who knows who?

“The most terrifying force of death, comes from the hands of men who wanted to be left alone. They try, so very hard, to mind their own business and provide for themselves and those they love. They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the forced and permanent change of life that will come from it. They know, that the moment they fight back, their lives as they have lived them, are over.

The moment the men who wanted to be left alone are forced to fight back, it is a form of suicide. They are literally killing off who they used to be. Which is why, when forced to take up violence, these men who wanted to be left alone, fight with unholy vengeance against those who murdered their former lives. They fight with raw hate, and a drive that cannot be fathomed by those who are merely play-acting at politics and terror. TRUE TERROR will arrive at these people’s door, and they will cry, scream and beg for mercy… but it will fall upon the deaf ears of the men who just wanted to be left alone.”
