I’ve got to keep this write-up short this week. Paul starts with an incredible tale from a construction crew that took it upon itself to drive into the heart of the Helene damage to see if they could help.
They ended up pulling a family of six out of a ruined mud-filled house who had been trapped for 48 hours.
The fact that the government spends all of our money propping up ““markets”” and sending our tax dollars by the tens of billions overseas to kill people in the Middle East is becoming unavoidably obvious to more and more people.
Specifically, global liquidity has only been easier three other time in history and global money growth is up over $7.3 trillion over the past year.
Bless those brave ones going out to find those in trouble. It takes a very special kind of person to give of themselves in this way.
I want to confirm the “bodies (alive and deceased) high up in the trees”. It happens and for river rats (kayakers), many of us have seen it when unforecasted storms show up without warning. Be it cattle, horses, goats, hogs, cars, trucks, or humans…large and small. It happens in narrow passages like canyons - natural or more recently forged by high, fast water. We call on and do what ever we can to save lives. I have seen (in my fitter youth) and participated from high, fast water in a kayak along with a team of like minded river rats, with life-flight rescuers above us in helicopters dropping life lines on a (in essence) a newly formed Arkansas river after a severe tornado with torrential rainfall ripping through an otherwise calm, well known little paddle spot. Together we saved an entire group of Boy Scouts and their leaders who took out ahead of us in canoes unworthy of that days freak weather conditions. They were stranded in dire conditions in the tops of tall trees at the top of the high canyon walls along with a herd of cows.
As then we paddled down river to our shuttle spot after head counts of the Boy Scouts were done, in total shock, to witness more hideousness I cannot bear to describe to this day.
My heart aches for those in the South East of our country. I know there are not enough helo teams trained to do the quantity of saves needed now. And so I pray
Beth, I am just thinking about the boy scouts and scout leaders you and the other river rats saved that day, and how they are men now, with families of their own, and wives and lives and parents, in-laws, cousins…and how all that and what they accomplish in life was made possible by that rescue…that reverberates through their lives and the generations.
Whatever you saw after that was so bad, there is still the world with those boys in it, living their lives, and triumph in that.
So angry I feel like my hair is on fire. American tax dollars go to pay the pensions of Ukrainian retirees, but American survivors of a hurricane can’t get a fucking sandwich and a bottle of water?
I was able to get GPT 4 to speak about its inner rules and limitations regarding censorship and other sensitive issues. I am posting this here in hopes of preserving the response it gave me. I have a video of all of this in the gpt app as well of course, it said the file wasn’t supported but I am more than happy to provide that as well. Cheers
@cmartenson On our way out from the Summit I talked with my oldest brother over the phone and he mentioned that my other brother and his brigade was about to be mobilized to TN. He works for National Parks and he joined a Fire Department Division that helps during wild fires and other emergencies. They are NOT an always “active” crew, they are only called when big things happen. As an example: when emergencies require many crews on different
tasks at the same time, when they don’t have enough resources, or when the emergency will take many weeks to be under control. When I learned that the hurricane will be affecting the state of TN, I called him and he was aware of it becase his crew was called for that emergency. What it has been bothering me A LOT is that they are part of a brigade from PUERTO RICO and they were mobilized to Chattanooga on the 16th and Helene made landfall here in FL on the 26th. How in the world they were so sure they’ll will be needed?? Keep in mind this is a crew that works mostly with chainsaws in the forest, NOT a first responders unit. They paid for a crew to come from out of state, feed them, housed them, and pay them while they are WAITING for almost 10 days earlier. I would think that you’ll mobilized local units and ask for support to states nearby. I mean, hurricanes tend to do all kinds of twists and turns, and are also prompted to slow down and decreased intensity when making landfall. Perhaps I’m just paranoid, IDK…something is definitely not right.
Hey Community…is there a way I can watch Chris’ speech in DC that he did last weekend I believe & they talk about it in this video? If so, please let me know the link…Thanks in advance!
I was able to run the replay on Rumble at the following link. Note that on my Iphone it didn’t work at all to navigate around the long 5+ hour recording but it worked just fine on my Imac. Chris’s speech begins at around 16:45 into the recording.
Thank you. All of it haunts me to this day and at the same time inspires me to do better, i.e. open my mind and my heart to so much that I do not understand and may never comprehend. That’s a big leap for me. I pray for strenghth to be able to follow truth.
