Sales data analyzed by BNP Paribas showed Nova 1 minimally processed food products grew about 7 percent faster than Nova 4 ultra-processed products over the past year. This comes after 30 years of ultraprocessed food sales growth outpacing real food. In particular, yogurt and frozen meal categories recorded the largest shifts. The firm linked the change to consumer review of ingredients, updated dietary guidance, and state SNAP restrictions.

The White House Anti-Fraud Task Force cracked down on tissue and organ transplant fraud, reporting that Medicare allograft claims rose from $200 million in 2019 to $14.4 billion in 2025. CMS stated it denied 96 percent of flagged allograft claims from March through May, identifying 4,200 suspect claims worth $224 million. CMS Administrator Mehmet Oz announced payment suspensions for 102 durable medical equipment suppliers and revocation of billing privileges for 725 others. According to the task force, these actions and a moratorium on new DME companies have reduced that category of claims.
In immigration news and election integrity news, Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon sent letters to state election officials warning they can be held criminally liable for noncitizen voting. Additionally, a federal judge ordered DHS to restore database access to four states for voter checks. Several states have used the system to remove flagged registrations. Rep. Chip Roy also called for legislation to define birthright citizenship requirements, pause most immigration, and advance the SAVE Act. Lastly, Vice President JD Vance stated in Milwaukee that the Labor Department issued subpoenas and opened investigations into H-1B visa program use.
Speaking of election integrity, Spencer Pratt released a video where he announces that he has gone on the offensive against election fraud. In his message, he states that the mere appearance of potential fraud is disqualifying and that California’s system lacks safeguards, allowing massive vulnerabilities like late mail-in ballots, ballot harvesting, and payments to homeless voters. He shared evidence his team collected on Skid Row and vowed to push for investigations, new legislation making ballot seizure a felony, and accountability to restore faith in elections for the future.
Some good news came for farmers. First, the FTC and five states obtained a court order requiring Deere & Company to provide farmers and independent repair shops with the same diagnostic tools and software given to authorized dealers. That said, Deere did not admit wrongdoing in reaching the settlement. Second, in an effort to protect farmers and ranchers from regulatory abuse and lawfare, the SBA and USDA established a portal for reporting regulatory complaints. The SBA will use the portal to analyze complaint data and identify recurring lawfare practices.
Artificial Intelligence
The GovGreed platform compiled public records on 190,000 congressional stock trades, 45,000 bills, and related filings. Its analysis indicated that 56 percent of recent stock purchases involved companies affected by later votes from the purchaser and that 63.8 percent of members traded individual stocks. It identified 752 instances meeting three criteria of committee membership, stock trading, and industry donations. Bills with all three markers passed at 5.4 times the average rate.

News of resistance against Flock cameras continues to come in, as well as a story of support for one of the purported vigilantes. In Houston, residents removed four Flock Safety license-plate cameras near Memorial Park and Washington Avenue. In Virginia, an individual faces charges related to the removal of multiple cameras. However, a related fundraiser has received more than $15,000 in contributions towards his legal fees. Officials have noted the cameras’ role in investigations such as recovering stolen vehicles, but critics continue to assert that they represent a dangerous increase in warrantless surveillance.
