It's Time to Believe Your Lying Eyes

My favorite purveyor of PM’s, Colorado Gold, is sold out of most. My relationship extends 20+ yrs.

Texas Precious Metals has plenty of inventory of silver but they’ve jacked up their prices. Example: 2025 silver American eagle $65.13. That’s a premium of almost $9/oz. They’re obviously expecting the price to go higher and the demand to intensify.

Let’s guess what tricks they’ll play before market open Monday to stop the price rise. Double or triple margin requirements in the futures market? Closing the market for a week or two because of “national security” concerns? Selling tons of silver from the government stockpiles? (Forget that. There is no government stockpile.) Someone at the COMEX tripped over an extension cord and all the market data was lost?

Plenty if you wanna take on the ranchers. The ranchers are on average 68 yrs.old. They are so old they don’t even give a shit.

I’m one of them and we care about our community.

(I’m not yet 68)

Even the Janitor probably wasn’t working last night. The place should have been empty, other than the guys with the shotguns.

Yea, I’m expecting the Ag price to be down around $51 again next week. I bought this week, so I’d suggest others buy, since the price always goes down after I make a purchase. Overall my sprott trusts have been doing well.

Ive wondered in economic systems, as US is 350mn+ population, previous “empires” like weimar era germany was 20-30mn, and rome only at its peak was 100mn rough estimated, are way smaller than current US or China… that will pace be correlated by population size… more people can do things faster, but also require resources more(decaying currency value), thus crash will be way faster than roman empire…
Tech (social media, digital banking) only seem to make world faster so impacts and changes also reflect faster across globe and in economy. That didnt work in weimar inflation though, they stood up mid day to announce new prices in restaurants and shops by one anecdote. So Im not sure is population and size of system deciding factor or pure maths in both cases, that it is so fast near end.

I’m feeding out two for February processing. Adding chops next week. Trying to find buyer(s) for the second one since a fed out steer won’t get as much at auction. I have to feed them both together and I don’t want to rip one away to sell as a feeder and leave the other alone in the pasture with the horses.

Years ago I co grazed horses(drafts) and cattle. The equines moved the cattle frequently interrupting their grazing pattern. The result was poor.
Horses cospecies graze with sheep and goats; not cattle. Cattle cospecies graze with everything except horses. Swine will eat everything outa house and home. Good luck, we’ve many generations of experience and land.

Is PSLV & PHYS based on real metals?

I stick a round bale in the pasture and the horses mostly feed off it so the steers can graze in peace. But, thanks for the tip. I’m kind of stuck since I only have ten acres total and eight acres of pasture for four horses and two steers. I had the best grass I’ve ever had last spring and summer. Everybody got pretty fat, especially my mustang mare. Our beef’s been really good though. Tons of flavor and tender. But if I can in the future, I’ll try to keep them separated with more fencing since you obviously know what the hell you’re doing. I’m just a wannabe.

Absolutely, in theory. Sprott has a number of sites: sprottmoney.com, sprott.com, etc. You can research.

Now for the reality of it: Who was that chick who threw a gasket after the Corizone MF Global fiasco? She had her own commodity futures company (lived in Denver?), a mid-westerner, her clients were ranchers. An educated, pretty hard-core (from a business standpoint) chick as I recall (cute too). I got an email from her one day (a form letter) said: GET OUT, GET OUT, GET OUT. I’m closing my company. Blah, blah blah. Next I heard she says she’s Living in a Van down by the River. Anyway, not saying it was her quote originally, but she showed a pic of her with a pink AR-rifle that said “If you’re not standing in front of it with a gun…you don’t own it”.

Some things you don’t forget. She was livid about what happened. I’ll find her name eventually, but she, in particular is not the point, just an example.

Again, just an example. I do like Sprott overall, but well, you know…

Yes, hah, hah. We all need to get out more, outside. We have no snow, and it’s been so warm the snow they blow at night, melts during the day other than the due North facing slopes where it facets (bad snow layer, and no I haven’t skied an “inbounds ski area” in years) rapidly.
So I’m posting instead of skiing.
…as I’ve said before “the bubble headed bleach blonde comes on at five…”. C’est la vie.

@cmartenson …you asked what is thr driving force behind the AI we shall become as gods…and why there is such a sense of urgency.
Ok, you can laugh and make fun of me as much as you want, but i seriously believe they know what is coming…if you read genesis carefully, its about a world/ planetary cataclysm…not just one…which repeats peridically. They are not talking about another ice age…they are talking about our core decoupling from the crust.
Read the ECDO theory bt etical skeptic…his decoding of the vulture stine at gobekli tepe, the magnetic pole shift, etc. The testimony of atrahasis…start here Master Exothermic Core-Mantle Decoupling - Dzhanibekov Oscillation Theory
It requires some study to get it…npbut they are expecting it between 2030 to 2060…2040 being best guess.
As graham hancock stated, we are a species wiyh amesia…this happens maybe every 12000 years and we are due. All echoed in the myths and religious writings around the world. They are on the arks…in bunkers…they plan to survive. And become the gods brigigknowledge back to any human survivors.
Its the only thing that to me makes sense…the CIA knows, the elite know…have known for about 75 years…but we werent supposed to. Explains so much…includin why there is no more excavation at gobekli tepe…it will be for future generations, says the WEF. .
Ive spent a grea5 dealmof time since i stumbled across this theory…studying it, corralating it…and im glad im old.
Do take a look. Let me know if you think ive lost whats left of my mind.

I do think something is up, that’s why all economy is R&D for AI now. They also want technorobot gods… which could survive cataclysm like that and serve same purpose (scifi has quite common trope of this, everliving “library” robot).
However Elon Musk simply went in on robot race coz everyone else is doing that. Not that much more complicated. By this semigod worship thing and what potential AI+robots have, yes I believe it would be miracle humanity survives 200 years more (excluding external cataclysms). Looking what we’ve had with nukes, cyclical “reset” of humanity is very plausible. Always tend to bicker and wage fight among ourselves than look and prepare for dangers.

 Thanks for you for not making too much fun of me!..but dont forget Elons so called Mars obsession. What has he built? A rocket that can take off and stay in orbit a few days until the core flips back…and then re land again on earth …
And they are gonna need robots to replant, and rebuild. There wont be enough humans at first…

I see him as 80% businessman (=do anything that makes money, AI and robotos now), 20% visionary and storyteller (also make money in stockmarket and why he is paid big bonuses from Tesla; storytelling is huge factor to get investors… doesnt even matter if stories are right or not).
Tesla and SpaceX have done working things so bittersweet must admit that. Without SpaceX US would be using russian rockets to this day. So as much I’d want to hate him, he has merits. Yes he doesnt do things himself but running business isnt trivial either, many manage to destroy business as CEO.
So Im saying he fits his mars goals to what else is happening in market to get VC funding and chance to build workable, sellable products. Silicon valley “based” approach. That makes it succesful formula.

Steve Jobs arguably invented iPod for his daughter he barely saw due to work and divorce. It turned out to be success. So is that true story or not(in movie depicted) is irrelevant as people wanted iPod in their pockets.
Working towards a vision, let alone something nobody has seen before, is stressful and not for everyone… lots of folks have skills and that, but we have economic problems coz it is difficult to get that “drive” for visions.
