Massie Loses, Iran Trains Civilians on AK-47s, OSIRIS Brings Open Source Access to Geopolitical Intelligence

US Politics

Trump-endorsed candidate Ed Gallrein defeated U.S. Rep. Thomas Massie in Kentucky’s Republican House primary. Based on polls leading into the election, Gallrein likely won among voters aged 65 and older, while Massie likely carried every younger demographic in the low-turnout race. Massie had opposed certain Trump-backed measures on foreign aid and spending, in particular with respect to Israel. Here’s what the Israeli lobby had to say about the outcome:

Ed Gallrein’s victory in KY and Clay Fuller’s win in GA ensures two outspoken pro-Israel voices are positioned to fill seats previously held by outspoken detractors, Thomas Massie and Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Our community was proud to help pro-Israel candidates win these races.

Turning to state politics, a California mayor resigned after pleading guilty to acting as an agent for China. She promoted Beijing’s interests through a website presented as a local news source for the Chinese American community in Arcadia, where roughly half the residents are of Chinese descent. Federal experts have described such influence efforts at the local level as increasingly common because officials there often lack the extensive staff or background to counter them.

In other news, data from Wakely Consulting Group, covering 80 percent of the individual market, projects enrollment declines of 17 to 26 percent for 2026 in Affordable Care Act coverage after subsidies ended and premiums rose between 25 and 115 percent. Such changes could shrink risk pools and raise costs for those who remain. Some analysts have linked the subsidy changes to efforts to redirect funding toward other fiscal priorities.

Lastly, the Senate advanced legislation to restrict presidential authority to initiate or expand military action against Iran. The legislation still needs to pass the House, and if it does, it will likely be vetoed by Trump.

Geopolitics

Iranian state television and public demonstrations have featured live instruction on assembling and firing AK-47 rifles for civilians. Officials have presented the training as preparation for possible ground operations or renewed air campaigns. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced the seizure of a large shipment of U.S.-made weapons and ammunition near the Iraqi border that it said was intended for Kurdish groups. Some reports have described similar drills as preparation for potential internal security scenarios.

Meanwhile, recently released Pentagon assessments reported that Iran used the pause in strikes to restore ballistic missile sites, disperse mobile launchers, and refine air-defense tactics with assistance from Russian and Chinese advisers. These changes have increased the projected risk to U.S. aircraft in any resumed operations. The assessments suggest that Trump’s decision to delay strikes this week had more to do with military risk than the alleged requests of regional governments.

In other news, South Africa’s Expropriation Act and related land policies have reduced output on farms transferred from previous owners. Analysts have stated that production shortfalls, combined with diesel and fertilizer shortages linked to disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz, could affect supplies across much of the continent by 2027 despite a strong 2025 harvest.

Privacy & Surveillance

Britain’s National Health Service has granted Palantir contractors access to identifiable patient records through its Federated Data Platform. Internal documents describe an administrative role that permits review of personal medical histories, prescriptions, and genetic data. Critics in Parliament and medical unions have warned that the arrangement could lead to external data demands under U.S. law and erode patient trust. Supporters point to gains in operational efficiency and care coordination.

Health

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul signed two bills that maintain state vaccine requirements for children independent of federal recommendations. The measures allow the state health commissioner to set mandates for diseases, including measles and hepatitis B, and require insurers to cover those shots even if federal guidance changes. Sponsors cited the need to maintain access amid federal reviews of several vaccine schedules. Critics have expressed concern that the approach could enable requirements for experimental vaccines without federal review.

Artificial Intelligence & Preparedness

An open-source platform called OSIRIS replicates core functions of commercial intelligence software and runs entirely in a browser. It aggregates live feeds on commercial flights, military aircraft, satellites, maritime traffic, and conflict zones while offering AI-generated daily briefs and country-risk scores. Users can operate the system offline with local models and without paid subscriptions. Some technical reviews have noted that certain interactive features rely on server-side processing rather than fully local execution.

As i’ve been saying, all Empires meet their end. They are just to arrogant to see the writing on the wall. Martin Armstrong goes into details why this happens.

Excerpts: "Putin will attend the summit in New Delhi on September 12–13, and meetings with Xi Jinping are already expected on the sidelines. This is not some hidden backroom alliance anymore. Putin is not hiding. China is not hiding. BRICS is no longer pretending to be merely an economic discussion forum. It is becoming the nucleus of a competing world order.

What the neocons never understood is that power abhors a vacuum. Once the United States began weaponizing SWIFT, freezing foreign reserves, sanctioning entire nations, and threatening secondary sanctions against anyone refusing to comply, the rest of the world began quietly preparing alternatives.

BRICS now represents more than 40% of the global population and continues expanding.

The arrogance coming out of Washington and Brussels has blinded them to the historical pattern unfolding. Every reserve currency empire eventually overextends militarily and financially. Spain did it. Britain did it. Rome did it. The mistake is always the same. They begin believing the system cannot function without them. Then the rest of the world slowly builds alternatives.

That is what BRICS really represents. Not simply an alliance against the West, but a rebellion against a financial system increasingly viewed as politically weaponized and unstable."

Excerpt: "Trump and his Zionist backers have driven the penultimate loyal American out of the US Congress.

Thomas Massie has represented the Fourth District of Kentucky in the House of Representatives since 2012. The Fourth District includes Louisville’s suburbs that extend over northeastern Kentucky. The Suburbanites fell victim to the Israeli-Trump propaganda against the most committed American left in the US Congress. I suppose Kentucky Senator Rand Paul will be next. As Trump himself has proven, it is impossible to be in American politics and represent America instead of Israel.

Americans can forget about being great again. They are not even sovereign.

This is the leader denied Americans by the Zionists, their puppet, Donald Trump, and the stupid people of the Fourth District of Kentucky."

Israel lobby specifically, but he had the audacity to work across the aisle to out Trump’s pedophile friends and colleagues. I think it’s been said here before, but it boggles my mind that Trump is getting skewered on gas prices but not on child sex traffickers and rapists.

Here’s a question: does Massie’s district use voting machines?
I wonder if the forces that oppose Massie would be willing to use the US-endemic “election rigging” to get their way.

on a side note Trump sued Oregon to verify their voter rolls… as a result they found 800,000 voters that were no longer valid …after a huge resistance… Oregon removed all 800,000 ghost voters… we just got results of our voting today…part of me if not then thinks those 800,000 would have otherwise voted… as this is a common sense result I haven’t seen here in 30 years… and the swing its huge.. normally we lost these 51%-49% we won 82% to 18%…hmm what changed?

I don’t believe that this is correct. And it is a red herring deflecting attention away from the force that actually did the election steal.

Grok is asked to look up the number of Kentucky residents that contributed to Ed Gallrein and Thomas Massies election fund.

For Ed Gallrein (challenger): Approximately 70 Kentucky residents contributed to his campaign committee.

For Thomas Massie (incumbent): Approximately 1,545 Kentucky residents (or donors with KY addresses) contributed to his campaign committee.

These figures come from FEC filings (covering periods through late April 2026, before the May 2026 primary) and were widely cited in post-election discussions.

Can Massie request a MANUAL RECOUNT?

Anyone know what it takes to trigger a manual recount. I am VERY sure that such a hand count would radically change the election outcome.
