Peak Prosperity senior citizen here. I think this is the most important interview you have ever done. Simon did a great job in laying out how the world works and where we are going. And he gave us (me) hope at the end.

Good interview and discussion of ideas.
I don’t think it’s news that basically the banks and very wealthy business interests call the shots: We’ve known that for a long time. I would say however that in ‘The West’, power has pretty much been monopolised by a group of people operating out of ‘The City of London’ and Wall Street. I’m not sure that they can just move east and continue acting with the sort of control that they’ve become accustomed to having. Still, I am sure they will try.
My guess is that China was originally supposed to be the next puppet for the globlists but the Chinese, under Xi, basically decided to go their own way. You can see that they are operating using the globalists playbook of tactics to control their own population but I think they will resist any Western influences coming in to take them over.
What is interesting is how there seems to be a consensus forming amongst the financially-savvy community (that I see on Youtube at least) that things are going to get real bad, ie not just another recession in the cycle, and that you really do need to have some sort of prepper mindset in real life (not just financially) if you want to have a chance of keeping some semblence of your living standards.
According to Simon’s explanation, like medieval times, this banking class is international, no patriotism at all… also they sit above any country structures, thanks to this globalism making it even easier than before… so they can move around as needed or pleased(nowadays it is very common politicians talk of raising taxes, this group starts threatening to move out of country).
If Zuckerberg or Elon Musk ever had sliver of nationalism/patriotism(to like any country and wanting to be there, like farmers are generations in same place), they had to abandon that long ago. Their bunkers and islands are almost no mans land (international waters). That works other way too, those threatening can send helicopters and jets to visit. Or according to Simon, some pirate boat crew landing, that is paid by western groups.
This guy sounds like he ate Whitney Webb, and not in a good way.
The nervous hopping from topic to topic, connecting dots that are impossible to connect, served with a complete lack of self-doubt make this hard to follow, and I really tried.
I’m not disagreeing with his key conclusions. They make sense and align with what has been stated here on PP for years.
The guy did obviously very well on bitcoin, and he for sure sold quite a bit of his holdings to greater fools coming after him. The bling watch and the gold ornaments in his office/studio ( dude what’s the headphones, get some in-ear speakers like the rest of us) create a Trumpian vibe I am quite allergic to.
My sentiments exactly. But he’s all narrative, no proof. He reminds you of Whitney Webb. He reminds me of Michael Yon. At least Michael Yon’s narrative has been proven true from time to time by events he predicted and conditions he described publicly unveiled. Still Simon tells a compelling story. But did he predict anything we don’t already here at PP expect to happen? If he did we could see if those predictions come to fulfillment as one way to begin to verify parts of his narrative.
I like Michael Yon. He puts his butt on the skyline (literally) by traveling the world and builds his forecasts on that experience. He hops a lot and repeats himself, but eventually he gets back on track and as you say, has a track record of being right more often than not.
This Dixon dude has a long way to go beyond “you should have bought bitcoin at 3 dollar”.
Yeah, I’m quite concerned that he’s an Islam “revert” and has even stated that global peace will need everyone to adopt Islam.
I didn’t bring it up earlier, because I do mostly like what he has to say, and I don’t think that was necessary for discussion #1. He also makes much more testable predictions than poor Tom Luongo, who has totally lost the plot.
(it does look slightly fishy, but there are other videos looking at Islamic Finance on his channel)
Simon mentioned that near the tippy top of the hierarchical pyramid lies the comittee of 300 and the club of rome. I think, for predictive purposes here at ground level, it would be useful to steel man and understand the hierarchys world view in order to better predict what directions they may try to push us in. For that purpose, i find this presentation to the club of rome most instructive. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=YnEXEIp5vB8&pp=ygUfVG9vIGNsZXZlciBieSBoYWxmIHdpbGxpYW0gcmVlc9gG5As%3D My understanding of framing for a while now for the top world view has been that those at the top see themselves as farmers. Farmers of land, resources and effectively human livestock. The base resources are getting thin, a lot of livestock aren’t producing, and there is overgrazing happening. Most predictive paradigm for me so far. Love to know folks thoughts on the presentation
Thanks for posting this, I did not look further into his background and his other views. It does explain the vibe I got while watching the talk with Chris.
Puts him right on my ignore list.
Aliens are often portrayed as bad guys using humans or spielberg uses other alien species as farmers.
I cant shake the feeling Thanos in Avengers hit subconscious nerve so well it got meme… because it reflects reality. That Hollywood movies go via some sort of CIA approval process is almost side story there.
“complete decarbonization” has been joked to be wipe out all humans as we are using lots of it. Looking current billionaires, they dream of robot utopia now. A bit hidden way to say same thing.
However looking all the things happening in the world, I cant shake the feeling we humans tend to be a bit deterministic: we believe eg humans are like deers or rats overpopulating, so folks spread free food in NGO form to african continent and then be nihilistic intellectual way “see! I told you so” when whole lab environment(certain region in world) is shaped to only produce one way result.
Jordan Peterson named this intellectual approach as prideful intellectual or similar, saying we would be minigods on earth to stand above others. This attitude comes through from that slideshow. Granted lot of 1950s-1970s stuff was like this in west. British empire legacy. I dont thbink regular person cares that deeply other than to read news which says “today we are greatest nation on earth” and then adopt next day new version. I cant do other than that if time is nigh and gotta prioritize.
I have conflicting thought of economy: if model itself is secondary, power structure is the primary, then all economic reasonings are secondary. People are taught to look prices, salaries and numbers from kid. Then manipulating those wanted result can be achieved. However overproduction of elite (Current problem and previous empires had same at a spesific stage) could suggest these “designers of humanity” cannot fully control us, which brings frustration and thus dark concepts like zero carbon or wars.
There is also heavy dose of projection: because us, elite thinks certain way of others, it must be everyone out there thinking same. That is silly notion (way of Kamala talking border should be closed as border responsible).
That slideset looks fascinating timecapsule of 1970s notions. I cant deny all of those things exist, but cherrypicked like that they form unique worldview. We have internet and smartphones so smart based folks exist elsewhere too. Key is cooperation… I didnt see that much there… folks in China and Africa and Chile must want to do this on their own. Forcing never worked. This is tricky part. I didnt see solution. What if India middle class says they dont want to do any of this? If forced, they will likely say west is colonizer again. This is same problem set as with climate change/CO2. Guilt tripping west doesnt help anything in big picture. Chinese took it as way to modernize their society. India wants to do same now.
I read/saw in older docs that back in 70s suggested US made “deal” with China to have economic growth(export) but they have to do 1 child policy in return. I cant verify this is it some kind of propaganda.
Yes, the top bankers (and other elites) have properties all over the planet and don’t consider themselves loyal to any particular country or culture. But, they tend to have a ‘base of operations’ where their families or orgnanisations have been resident and operated out of for decades/centuries. Accordingly, they have managed to build enormous influence in those places. As I said, we have the City of London (which more or less controls the British establishment), Wall Street (has great influence but not total control of US politics) and the Rothschilds in Paris (who more or less control the French establishment).
They could choose to depart and base themselves anywhere around the globe but they won’t have the hooks into the local establishment structures they way that they have in Europe and the US. Being able to tell a supposedly ‘sovereign’ government of a large country what to do (vis a vis geopolitics and miltary) is enormously advantageous to making money globally.
The story behind the headphones is that there was an unbearable echo in the audio and we had to ask him to find some headphones. They may have come from his daughter’s bedroom. ![]()
Having said that, I’m surprised that some of the wealthiest people in the world have some of the worst mics and cameras for interviews. Of all the segments I have edited for podcasters, Chris has the best audio consistently.
Knock the supporting beams from a house and it falls. Why does it seem like this is happening to our society and why does it seem well calculated?
What three letter agency do you work for?
The guy made strong points in a rapid manner. He obviously has very limited time to flesh out a global agenda, strategy, and attributes for each player. I doubt he’s 100% right but he’s for sure making more sense than the confusing nonsense our government and media provide.
I will show you my badge if you show me yours.

I haven’t had time to listen to it all yet, but while what I’ve listened to so far has certainly been interesting, he seems to be trying to explain basically everything in the world in his ‘proof-of-weapons network’ theory (I’m still in a state where if you asked me to explain that theory, I’d produce more 'um’s and 'er’s than anything else), and I find I have to listen again and again, and often I’m still scratching my head as to what he means (there are lots of phrases that don’t seem to make sense, and I’m constantly trying to figure out what he might mean), or I’m wondering e.g. how ‘c’ relates to the ‘a’ and ‘b’ that he’s just said (he says such things rapidly as if the relationship is clear and given and so doesn’t need elaborating on, while I’m thinking ‘How do those things actually follow?’).
I feel like he’s dropping dollops of what I know to be truth as he goes, but it also leaves me wondering if he’s actually using these as bait to get me to buy the whole package. I really don’t know, but it certainly leaves me wondering if he’s put out there to obfuscate or even over-complicate things in our minds to keep us off track.
I’ll listen to the rest and have another think.
2 world class analysts at the top of their game.
For a long time now, I wanted to write to Chris to tune down financial content, since I was not really interested in it. BUT, after seeing this episode, I’ve realized that understanding the financial world is actually a must. I am very interested in other topics, like homesteading or geopolitics, but after seeing this you get to realize that financial markets essentially drive geopolitics. It is not always nationalism, patriotism or religious beliefs. In fact, it is just the opposite, money and control.
Thank you Chris for your awesome content, and thanks for opening my eyes for 100th time.
