Join us today for a special edition of The Signal Hour. From pre-emptive pardons to the inauguration… There is so much happening today that we need to talk about.
Executive Summary
The episode dives into the controversial pardons issued by Biden, which I find deeply troubling and unacceptable. These pardons, including those for Fauci and Milley, raise significant questions about accountability and the misuse of presidential power. The discussion also touches on the broader implications of these actions on the rule of law and the potential erosion of trust in our institutions. It’s a call to examine the deeper issues at play and the need for accountability at the highest levels.
The Pardons Controversy
I woke up to the news of Biden’s last-minute pardons, which I find completely unacceptable. These pardons, including those for Fauci, Milley, and members of the January 6 Committee, are deeply troubling. The language used in the pardons suggests that they are not an acknowledgment of wrongdoing, which is perplexing. A pardon typically implies guilt, yet these individuals have not been convicted of any crimes. This move seems to be a preemptive measure to protect against potential future investigations, which is a misuse of presidential power.
Key Data
Over 400 people have been charged with political crimes under the Biden administration.
Biden issued pardons for actions dating back to January 1, 2014, raising questions about what occurred during that time.
Implications
The pardons could undermine public trust in the rule of law and the justice system.
There is a risk of setting a precedent where political figures can evade accountability through pardons.
Recommendations
Stay informed and critically evaluate the actions of political leaders.
Engage in discussions about the implications of these pardons and their impact on democracy.
What are the chances that the Supreme Court will eliminate future and past preemptive pardons? Consider this: A president conspires with others in high crimes or treason, able to assure all co-conspirators that they will NEVER incur legal consequences because of preemptive pardons promised.
Also, am I right that our Republic and Constitution cannot be restored until those Biden pardoned today (and others) are brought to justice, convicted, and punished in proportion to the severity of their crimes?
2 friends have died within the last week - both with cancer spreading so fast in their bodies. I am sad but PISSED!!
we must have accountability or change will not stick.
Rick
The pardoned should be get a subpoena to testify in front of congress where they should be asked questions about their activities - wouldn’t think 5th amendment applies any more. If they refuse to show or answer - contempt. If they lie - perjury. Lets find out if they committed crimes and if they did and you can’t prosecute at least publicly shame them for their crimes.
The Biden Family pardons hit me the worst of all of them, and that is saying something. Such naked corruption on display. Such a tremendous double barrel fuck you to the citizens. There is no amount of bleach and detergent you could use that will cleanse the White House from this horrible President.
