Resilience or Ruin: The Mindset Dilemma

Originally published at: https://peakprosperity.com/the-signal-hour-today-at-1pm-et-2/

Today, we dove deep into some troubling issues, particularly focusing on what we’ve been calling the “mind virus” – a phenomenon that seems to be clouding clear thinking and creating division.

We discussed the situation in South Africa, where white farmers are fleeing due to violence and threats, yet they’re met with resistance and accusations of racism when seeking refuge in the U.S. It’s baffling to see how the narrative has twisted to the point where helping these individuals is seen as morally wrong by some, like the Episcopal Church, due to their skin color or historical ties to apartheid.

The media’s portrayal of these events has been skewed, often ignoring the real human rights issues at play and instead focusing on the racial dynamics in a way that promotes further division. We’ve seen examples where the violence against these farmers is downplayed or justified by citing historical injustices, which is not only illogical but also deeply inhumane.

We also touched on the broader implications of this mindset – how it’s not just about race but about a lack of discernment and understanding of complex issues. This mind virus, as I call it, seems to infect people’s ability to think critically, leading to decisions and policies that are not only counterproductive but also potentially dangerous.

In the second part of our discussion, which is exclusive to our subscribers, we’ll explore the resilience mindset. This is crucial because, in times of change and turmoil, it’s not just about physical resources or wealth; it’s about having the mental fortitude to navigate through chaos. We’ll discuss why some thrive while others falter, and how understanding and adopting this mindset can be a game-changer for anyone looking to not just survive but thrive in these challenging times.

Great book on South Africa written before the unravelling. A history you will find shockingly different than the modern narrative.

Most of the ‘dark-skinned’ folks called natives were actually migrants to South Africa.

Note to self … Just like all progressives, the ANC does not just want equality or equity – they want all of the stuff, land, etc. and they want the owners to suffer and die. Coming to a theatre near you?

Thank you for staying on the human course with regard to the South African refugees. They are welcome. However in the United States we have the people, even in clergy in “christian” churches, who are the US equivalent of Julius Malema. They would re-crucify Jesus if given the chance.

Gregoire, you are correct. The Bantu tribes started arriving from East Africa shortly after the Portugese landed in what was to become Cape Town. We do not know why that happened but we do know it did happen. The Bantu tribes would raid the Hottentot and Bushmen tribes for slaves. Southern Africa was a desolate barren land in those days. White people went into South Africa to get away from the British. But the British followed them and when gold was found, decided to sieze the land for exploitation. It is interesting that it was the British who brought colonialism to South Africa. The Dutch who settled and trekked into the interior of South Africa were not there to colonalize but rather went there to live much like the first arriving Europeans did in what became the 13 Colonies of America.

This is true but context helps avoid the “empty land” myth often used to support colonial narratives.

The Khoikhoi and San people previously referred to collectively as Hottentots by the Dutch/ Afrikaners are the oldest and original occupants.

Bantu speaking groups have been there for millenia and have come in waves over that long period.

Other groups made their way as well.

In more recent history, (1800’s?) people groups in RSA were sort of solidified with Zulu as their identity. They make up 24-25 percent of RSA population. So while this group is politically newish, the people were not recent immigrants.

RSA lumped people into race groups based roughly on skin color; White, Asian, Colored, and Black. Colored includes the lighter brown complected San and KhoiKhoi peoples sometimes collectively referenced as Khoi-San, as well as people of mixed racial patents between Blacks and other races or their bi-racial or multi-racial, decendents. Sadly people who gave birth to lighter or darker children were often separated from their children as the were sent to areas designated for that government assigned race group.

Asians included Eastern Asians as well as Indians.

Not according to those who actually drove the ox wagons north into the Transvaal.

Thank you for speaking out about what is happening to the white African farmers. It is hardly ever spoken of in the mainstream media. Once I was offered a job in the UK and they gave me a driver and car for a few days to explore the country. My driver was a 40ish farmer who had immigrated to the UK along with his extended family to escape the violence. The violence that was perpetrated on these people was unspeakable, and very often children were tortured to death in front of their parents, to magnify the suffering. The idea that these people are being targeted here in America breaks my heart. These are good, salt of the earth people, crazy work ethics, with large families and good farming skills.

Don Lemon and people of his ilk are acting as if the immigrant farmers…really, they are more asylum seekers fleeing persecution and terrible danger…were personally responsible for apartheid and bear some sort of collective guilt due to their skin color, and every reasonable person must target the Boers and call for violence against them. That people are listening to this is very disheartening.

This has happened before. Zimbabwe/Rhodesia violently appropriated all the white farms in that country and redistributed the stolen land. This was followed by countrywide poverty, economic collapse, civil war, hunger and finally starvation. Rhodesia used to be known as the breadbasket of Africa and now half the population is malnourished. We will see the same in South Africa soon. What a mess and a tragedy.

Still waiting on sources?

What is our hope? That the woke mind virus dies from endless jabs, improper diet, mental health issues, violence, neglect, abuse, drug addiction, etc. We might have to hope the “real virus” just burns itself out.

How many native (were here first) American Indians were slaughtered and “genocided” to make way for the invading hordes of colonizing mainly white Europeans?

How are white Afrikaners any different, just because they are and were the hordes of colonizing mainly white Europeans?

So, the displaced want the displacers gotten rid of, what is so outrageous about that? There is just some sht you simply cannot do. Period. If you don’t want no sht, then don’t bring no sh*t. Pretty simple.

Either that or the displacers better make sure to kill all the natives or expect a like horror in return at some later date. Turnabout is fair play.

Take what is going on in Israel where the Jews have herded up all the Palestinians into one place, after stealing the Palestinian’s country from them (with the help of the Americans and the British who are experts in colonization), and are now executing a Jewish “Final Solution” – a genocide upon the Palestinian people.

How is this not a case of “you will own nothing and be happy” and then hide behind some flimsy lame a** excuse like “but what about the children?”

@the blame-e I seem to be missing the point you are trying to make, although I assume there is one.

The population of South Africa is 60.4-million people. The black South Africans say that South Africa is controlled by 7-percent of the population, or approximately 6,040,000 “white folk.”

Isn’t it funny that the United States just went through the worst episode of illegal immigration in its history, with the influx of between 20-million and 48-million illegal aliens, and now the US government wants to bring in over 6-million South Africans into the United States – and anybody who doesn’t like it is a bigot and worse. When the genocide in South Africa gets bad enough that is exactly what is going to happen.

When the genocide currently underway in Gaza gets to the point where Israel demands the world take care of a mess the United States and the UK created or else, then how many Palestinians will the United States be taking in?

As of March 25, 2025, the State of Palestine (there is no Palestinian state), the population is estimated at 5,589,623.

And if the Americans currently here don’t want that then the bigotry dial gets turned up to 14.

And how many Ukrainian “refugees” can the American people expect after the war the United States started gets lost?

There is something wrong here. Very wrong. At the very least, colonization is war by other means, and the United States (the government of endless war and endless warmongering) is losing this war, just like all the other ones.

Maybe, what the West has been putting out there for hundreds of years is coming home to roost just as the American Empire is collapsing.

The bottom line is the United States cannot feed, clothe, educate, house, provide meaningful employment to its own citizens. What are we supposed to do with all these illegal aliens, “migrants,” “refugees,” and the like? Especially in a country with a society and culture that says: “You will have a job, a house, a home, a family, meaningful employment, an education until somebody doesn’t like you – and then you won’t.”

Out-group prejudice would have prevented a malicious band of humans slaughtering yours for the females and local resources. Game theory type of thing.

We are ALL “out-groups.”

I wrote the above from what I remember from having taken a couple semesters of South African politics to fill out some required electives when pursuing a degree in mo-cell Biology, which I did not get to finish.

There are ample keywords for anyone who wants to learn more. I will collect a couple of links for that one topic I am sure is of most interest for reasons I alluded to however…

Ah, if you don’t have the opportunity to judge who you think might be able to integrate into and contribute to your society your country will fail. If you come here, leave the shit back where you came from. Adapt to our laws and way of life, we will not adapt ours to yours.

The ANC are no different than their savage Bantu ancestors. The modern narrative is completely distorted.

As of December 31, 2024, Russia has taken in approximately 1,223,795 Ukrainian expats. Russia requires expats to speak the language, have a provable skill, and know Russian history. This figure does not even include the approximately 3-million Ukrainians absorbed into Russia in the captured Ukrainian territories.
