Economy

In recent news, the S&P 500 has experienced fluctuations, initially dropping 10% in early August due to disruptions in the carry trade by the Bank of Japan. However, an unknown entity’s aggressive stock purchases led to a market recovery within two weeks. This pattern repeated when the S&P 500 faced resistance at 5,650 and dipped below the 50-day moving average, only for the same mystery buyer to intervene again. Market analyst Graham Summers suspects the Federal Reserve or a proxy might be behind these actions, potentially as part of a new quantitative easing program. Summers is preparing a detailed report, “Chapter X,” to explain his reasoning and identify the stocks he believes the Fed is purchasing.

Politics

Ryan Wesley Routh was apprehended after allegedly attempting to target Trump at his West Palm Beach golf club. Routh, who had a scoped AK-style rifle, was positioned 300-500 yards from Trump when Secret Service agents intervened. Routh has been linked to financial giant BlackRock, having appeared in one of their commercials. This connection is notable as Thomas Matthew Crooks, who attempted to assassinate Trump at a Pennsylvania rally two months ago, also appeared in a BlackRock ad. Social media has seen speculation about these connections, with some Trump supporters suggesting a larger conspiracy involving elite interests.

In cybersecurity, the FBI and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) have issued a public service announcement warning against false claims of hacked voter data. Malicious actors are reportedly spreading disinformation to manipulate public opinion and undermine confidence in U.S. democratic institutions. The agencies clarified that publicly accessible voter registration data is often misrepresented as evidence of cyberattacks. They emphasized that there is no evidence of any cyberattack on U.S. election infrastructure that has compromised the integrity of the voting process. The public is advised to rely on official state and local election websites for accurate information and to be cautious of suspicious claims about election security.

Geopolitics

On the international front, tensions between Russia and the West continue to escalate, with concerns about potential nuclear conflict. Western leaders, including UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, have been criticized for underestimating the threat posed by Russia. Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has warned of severe consequences if Ukraine’s allies provide long-range missiles, suggesting that the conflict could escalate into an all-out war. Some sources argue that the conflict is driven by historical ethnic tensions and financial interests rather than democracy and freedom, drawing parallels to the breakup of Yugoslavia and the assassination that sparked World War I.

In response to the ongoing conflict, President Vladimir Putin has ordered a third expansion of Russia’s military since the Ukraine war began in February 2022, adding 180,000 soldiers. This will increase Russia’s active servicemen to 1.5 million, making it the second-largest army in the world after China’s. Including reserve forces, Russia’s total military personnel will exceed 2.3 million. This latest increase signals Russia’s intent to maintain the intensity of the conflict in the Donbass and sends a message to NATO amid discussions of Ukraine using long-range missiles against Russia. Nearly 700,000 Russian troops are currently involved in the “special military operation” in Ukraine, with steady gains reported in eastern Ukraine. The expansion may also be a response to Ukraine’s Kursk offensive, although Moscow denies significant troop relocations. A Russian counteroffensive is intensifying, with steady progress in Ukraine’s east.

I read this as the TPTB are preparing us for the Great Election Steal 2.0 by pre-warning that any complaints of e-interference are false.

2.389MM …

On Monday, Putin decreed to set the number of personnel in the armed forces at the level of 2,389,130 people, including 1,500,000 servicemen. In the previous decree on this matter, which the new document recognizes as invalid, this figure was 2,209,130 people, including 1,320,000 servicemen.

From the geopolitical perspective a friend just forwarded this very good, truly prescient analysis/interview. Until today I wasn’t familiar with the name Alexandr Zinoviev but he was truly on point in unfolding the eventual outcome of the West following the Soviet Union’s collapse “major heavy-duty philosopher and socio-economic analyst who was deemed a Soviet Dissident and exiled only to return to his shattered homeland to write about what was done to it and how—the how part being the most important for our understanding and deeper analysis of what’s happening today” Resurrecting Zinoviev's Westernism - by Karl Sanchez

An additional fyi - I’m considering going offline here soon so Ciao for now

North Korea has offered Russia about 100,000 combat troops - So far they’re still in N. Korea - but under the “right conditions” - who knows???

Looks like they’ll need them. They are blowing bridges and RR with to the south.
???

This is more of an advantage for NK than Russia. The Russians could provide NK an opportunity to battle harden some of their troops, but downside is Russia would need to allocate specific special forces troops who are trained in working with foreign troops to get the mileage out of them. That takes time and resources, so it’s very doubtful to me that 100K NK troops will be accommodated by Russia.

They can rebuild them in a few days if they really wanted to. It’s just saber rattling.

This looks so… 100k like some africans seen in russian side frontlines, will extend war some 100 days. That alone may be crucial though, I get vibe US and others behind US are plotting something behind spotlight to end this war(withdraw support perhaps in next 6-12months).

Cold hard analysis is NK has some 20mn people and nothing to offer them so sending them to frontline and getting compensated to government seems nobrainer when everything is lacking in daily life from food to medicines. Although Kim has been reported to get space/missile tech from russians.

Why is BlackRock opposing Trump? This starts to look pattern now, not a coincidence first time (Crooks) could have been.
Kamala’s way is towards communism, so why is that less bad. Do fascists and communists need BlackRock? I dont think so , Kamala even has said in clip they can take [drug] patents away from company if they have enough will in administration. This reflects her stance. No company would be safe if it is “for greater good”. Maybe these companies believe they have more leverage than they actually do, as US government system is designed decentralized but incase laws are changed, companies are still under US law.

Blackrock are part of the donor-drafter class (private entities that benefit from foreign policies, overseas military actions, and CIA dirty tricks).

So it comes back to MIC?
Incase foreign politics fails that makes all entities poorer. Granted new 4Tn$+ printed into world economy would seem to benefit entities like Blackrock, so they can buy stuff relatively cheaper when others are struggling with higher living costs and higher asset costs.
I expect this to happen again if Trump wont win, some kind of repeat from 2021.

Actually, that’s a good idea. A good place to train. The US has done it.

I imagine the Russians do not need any help. They could over run half the country. But Putin is showing a lot of constraint. (at present- same with China)You’d think last 4 years is opportune time to take major action.

Buy things (warfare) has dramatically changed since I was in.

The MIC is just one part of the Blob. I think you should dedicate some time to listen to Mike Benz describe the Blob. He’s given numerous long-form talks and interviews on the subject (although I’ve noticed that he is often biased for Israel and he sugar coats a lot of their affairs that should not be sugar coated). I’d suggest this one to start: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=HTwRZW00Krk

As far as entities getting poorer - we heard multiple people like Gates, Fink, and Soros before ESG was implemented say that not every company would survive the changes that the world would endure, and that was “ok” because many of them are not important. I also think we have to reflect on the quote from ~15 years ago given an Obama economic advisor (who’s name escapes me at the moment) was asked about how skyrocketing debt and foreign debt would be managed, to which he replied "we’re just going to kill the [U.S.] dollar’ to devalue the overall debt. Forcing people into a lower consumption lifestyle also has economic impacts against China, so they can use that as an excuse to destroy Western prosperity.
