Now that we agree Gary’s analysis is inconsistent, we can continue with our own. Let’s examine the bleacher impact point from shot 1 in detail:
According to Randymajors, the sea level at the bleachers is 1,335.199 ft, which results in a minor height difference of -0.07 ft compared to AGR building 6 — a difference so small it could almost be neglected. Therefore, we can consider the bleachers to be at approximately the same sea level as AGR building 6.
Based on the manufacturing drawings of the bleachers and the fact that the bullet impact occurred on the top bar, determining the height is straightforward: the height of the bleachers corresponds directly to the impact point. On top of the bleachres the impact distance from the corner was estimated to be 0.54 ft.
A simple analysis of these numbers shows that the Vent, Trump, and Bleacher corner align along a continuous, ascending trajectory (consistent with an ascending bullet path).
In contrast, it is impossible for Crooks to hit both Trump and the bleacher corner with the same descending trajectory. From Crooks’ higher position, a bullet line would be descending, meaning he could potentially hit Trump’s ear or the top corner of the bleacher, but not both in a continuous line.
@daniel59 I will pause here for any questions before we continue.
As we can see, the line points directly toward Vent 2, while Crooks is offset from this trajectory. We have not yet accounted for wind effects and gravity-induced bullet drop — we will address those factors later.
I think you can ignore the wind. I already posted a picture of the big flag over the stage at the shooting. (And the CS testified zero correction by windcall.)
The gravity is other problem. @sonjax6
Can you please rotate this picture?
The green line should be at the center as we look toward the origin of the shot.
Additionally, I’d also like to look at the green line from left to right. To align a distorted parabola with it.
This not only confirms your findings and debunks Gary’s theory, but also clearly shows that the first shot followed an ascending trajectory originating from the vent area!
I’m sorry Comperatore was murdered, but his murderer was shot dead by Zaliponi.
Copenhaver’s attempted murderer escaped alive.
Solving the crime requires questioning the living suspect.
Knowing that the source is the official, original body cam footage from the Butler, PA police, this is a significant finding — the shot is clearly captured on camera, coming from Vent 1.
I also noticed that shortly before Shot 1, the camera captures some dynamic activity — specifically, the opening of Vent 2. This is extremely significant, as the back-traced bullet simulation points directly to that vent. Could you confirm this using your excellent animation technique?
