This whole height argument is obsolete. There is a video that shows the back railing is hit a few inches from the corner. “Tough Old Bird” is right in the way from the perspective of “Crooks” or anyone along that line of sight - so the shot that hit Trump cannot have hit the railing.
Furthermore, the testimony of the Hercules 2 countersniper, the teams reactions, and most importantly, the bullet hole in the telehandler hydraulic line and Mr. Copenhaver’s arm scar prove that bullets were coming from the northeast, beyond the Hercules 2 team.
Yes, a shot or shots may have been fired from that vent. Yes, audible shots 1-3 certainly sound different from audible shots 4-8 in some recordings. But the rising shot idea for the shot that hit Trump’s ear is obsolete.

Don’t let the camera perspective fool you. From the top-view perspective, it’s clear that the first shot went exactly next to David, on his right side, and passed between the right arm and the waist of the man in the blue shirt, hitting the top rail of the bleachers.

I completely agree with your shot marked with the green check mark — it aligns perfectly with Trump’s ear and Copenhaver, and there’s no way Crooks could have taken that shot. We even discovered that Crooks would have been hitting the left bleachers, making it impossible for him to shoot Copenhaver from that position.
The only point where we disagree is about whether it was shot 1. In my view, shot 1 actually hits the top corner of the right bleachers, which doesn’t match your green-checked line. Based on my analysis, I believe shots 4 to 8 are the ones that hit Copenhaver, with two of those shots striking him.
I guess we just have a small difference in the shot sequence, but that’s okay — if we disagree on 5% and agree on 95%, that’s still great progress.
