We’ve found more bullet hits on the banner in this ultra HD pic, which makes it even less likely that Crooks took those shots. Would it be the position of Copenhaver? Definitely something we need to look into.

It looks like everyone was allowed to go home—except the people in the middle bleachers. Were their phones confiscated too, just like what happened to Steward?
The guy with the large black hat apparently recorded the first three shots on video. Does anyone know his name? We’d like to reach out so he can share his story—and maybe even provide the original footage?

We got some good advice from Chris: always download everything to your hard drive right away, because things can change drastically just months later—which definitely seems to be the case here.
I can’t find the original anywhere online now, but you’re right—it was taken by Evan Vucci. Interestingly, the JPG file still contains a significant amount of metadata I hadn’t noticed before.
One notable detail is the long subject description:

It could be important evidence.
But maybe you should still try to get the original from AP. In Jason Goodman’s interview with Doug Mills, you can see on Doug Mills’ screen that a single photo in raw format is 50 MB.
Maybe it would be helpful if you just ask them for the top third. Then they might be more willing to do it.

Yes, if we can show that Copenhaver was standing between the left and the two right points, we can assume that they are indeed bullet holes.
So far I have not found any suitable pictures.
In this photo (RSBN alternate angle) you could extend the railings to the top right corner and then determine Copenhaver’s exact position.
Why don’t you just use your graphics editor, and color in the bullet path, as you want it to be?
No, because Bullet1 hit Copenhaver’s upper arm, and sailed over the banners.
Bullet3 is still too risky to remove, against Copenhaver’s spine.
Maybe those banner impacts were from buttons off TOB’s shirt when your green trajectory bullet hit him:

Some of it was pretty bad. For example, that Wilcox thinks that the rifle couldn’t have fit in the backpack because it was longer than the backpack was high. But of course it had been stowed in it at an angle.
At minute 3:34 it says that this is Part One. So there will be sequels.
