I really never before paid attention to that lamp, but it is of crucial importance and corroborates that the unblurred images show crooks very near his nightly resting place!
the picture above shows the blurred out image from the video you shared (Crooks%20take%20first%20shot_Scooper.mp4), and the lamp with the blue top is blurred out as well. this means that the location where he died is the location where the shell casings were allegedly ejected from his rifle…
that mp4-file shows the following picture at 4 seconds into the video:
and this is the exact position where crooks was found and pictured dead!
the video “crooks take(s) first shot” and https://youtu.be/lk9dN06ilVE (“Trump Video Original Unedited”) are clearly edited…
it does not suffice to call a video unedited to not having been edited…
I think the term “unedited” refers more to their failed attempt (if any) to un-edit the edited version
so, what I think happened is that the video editors kept the audio track, but they removed certain video frames or repeated a couple of frames several times such that the audio would start matching a certain frame of their interest
this is what happened to the mp4 file to make it look like crooks fired the first rounds from that position on that roof…
so, what we see and hear in the different videos does not reflect what actually happened!
example:
- at 4s in the mp4-video, crooks is alive and holds his rifle uncomfortably far from his shoulder (and nose)
- at 6s in the video, the first shot is fired
- at 7s, the second shot is fired and
- at 7.5s only a muffled thud is heard which is clearly distinct from the first two rounds.
in the youtube footage which claims to have been “unedited”, the first 3 shots are time-spaced evenly, and in the mp4 footage, the 3rd shot is very muffled and comes earlier…
so, when someone suggests that the mp4-footage shows the first shot at 5-6 seconds into the video, we know where crooks was located on the roof at that particular moment, namely the position where he was found dead, and that blue topped lamp corroborates this!
I do not have a high definition/resolution bird view photo of crooks on the roof when he was dead, but we can deduce from the following that he died 2 rifle lengths down from the ridge line…
the rifle is 1 yd long, which means crooks was 2 yd from the ridge line when the shell casings were allegedly ejected.
we can estimate the height of the separators between each roof lane and the height of the ridge cap based on the width of a lane (which is 2 ft) and the following image:
the yellow rectangles are UNDERestimates of the actual height of the separators and the ridge cap due to perspective…
previously, I said that these separators were about 15 cm high as I heard this being mentioned in a commentator’s video, but if we look at the ratios of these rectangles, the height of the separator is more likely close to 7-7.5cm, and the ridge cap is about 5.5cm high, making the distance between the roof and the top of the ridge cap about 0.41 ft = 4.94 in = 12.55 cm.
these dimensions seem to be very plausible given the height of the shoes of the different roof walkers…
let’s assume that the distance between the roof and the top of the ridge cap is 5 inches = 12.7 cm.
based on https://www.researchgate.net/publication/264024487_Analysis_of_Human_Head_Shapes_in_the_United_States, the average size of an adult US male head is about 17.6 cm:
if we bring all of this together, we can transpose crooks from the position where he died closer to the wall from which the video was shot and keep all the aspect ratio’s, which gives this:
his shoulder is 2 rifle lengths from the ridge cap, and he is 6 ft 4 in = 1.93m…
a close up:
the horizontal yellow line is reasonably horizontal compared to the vertical wall panels
after having revisited various videos of the first shots fired, I have come to the observation that it is highly unlikely that crooks moved from one lane to another between the photo/footage of Mike DiFrischia and the position where he died, simply because of a lack of time as everything happened in only a few seconds, and the lack of blood traces in other roof lanes…
if he shot any rounds, it is very likely that he either sat upright, leanded on his elbows, kneeled or had moved close to the roof top, but within the same lane as where he died…
so, if we transpose the DiFrischia photo over the “crooks near the edge foto”, we get this:
it is IMPOSSIBLE that crooks fired any rounds from this position, as the purple arrow shows the line of fire that goes through the roof at least twice!
even if he shouldered his rifle at that location, with the scope at eye height, it would still be IMPOSSIBLE to shoot without going through the roof cap!
he would have been able to fire over the roof top, but only if he moved at least 1 rifle length closer to the roof top:
or even closer to the ridge cap:
also if he sat up right or in a kneeling position, he would have been able to shoot over the roof line from the position where he died:
note that the images have been used as-is. I only resized and cropped them and kept a 1:1 aspect ratio with the size of the rifle, as that is the only thing we have reliable dimensions for…
the bottom line is this:
- crooks died 2 rifle lengths from the roof top
- the top of the ridge cap is about 5 inches (12.7 cm) from the surface of the roof
- it is impossible that crooks fired any rounds from the position from where he was seen in Mike DiFrischia’s video
- if crooks fired any rounds with his rifle, he must have been sitting upright, with his elbows on the roof or in a kneeling position, or he must have crawled up at least 1 rifle length closer to the ridge cap, otherwise, he would have damaged the roof or the ridge cap!
