Greg Nicols has a YouTube site? That you communicate with (him?) for 2 months now?
I believe he is referring to Greg Nichols, the guy who has been doing gunshot analysis in the forum. The CS Nicol spells his last name differently, but it’s easy to confuse the two.
Just for clarification, this middle photo is the one you are referring to? As much as I can see a basic resemblance, suit, top of head hair, and facial hair all point to these two being separate individuals from what I see, plus I don’t know what it would take for the Intelligence Lead to become a part of the body bunker, but it seems to me to be outside the scope of his direct responsibility (not to say that given the right circumstances the Intelligence Lead couldn’t shield the protectee, I just find it less likely than an actual protective asset).
Yes, that was him. I wasn’t really making a comparison vefore. More of an assumption because Clowser looked like he just came from the protection detail, but now I realize he looks like he just came from searching for Crooks, and is likely siscussing it with the others. The gut I think is Box is a little more diubtful, since he’s dressed in what could either be a Special Protective Dision (SOD) uniform, or a SS Police uniform, which may be the same because they both fall under the Uniformed Division. I haven’t gone back to look into thar further, but if his uniform is like the SS countersnipers, that’s most likely Box. The SS CAT (also called the Counter Response Team) are both part of the SOD.
Do you recognize that badge by chance? It doesn’t look to me to be any you have in the recognition tools. Closest match I see being HSI badge, but his attire is more akin to UD, maybe SS CAT though I think SS CAT gear would be heavier, more like ESU CAT gear except probably in USSS Black, like Hawkeye. And I now have to wonder if SS CAT consisted solely of Hawkeye (known to travel with the motorcade), or if they also had other CAT teams/personnel on site.
From Pearson’s cam you can catch Hawkeye moving to the stage:
Thanks for grabbing those screenshots, and finding the badge. I’ll add that to the next Rev. I think that supports him being Box. I could be mistaken, but I think a badge goes with a higher rank, as opposed to shoulder patches like other UD police wear.
No problem, and I thought it did too until I went back and checked this:
CAT is selected from special agents, so a UD Josh Box doesn’t make sense in my opinion. Same site states Counter-Snipers are selected from Uniformed Division, so perhaps he is the “Countersniper Response Agent” that met up with the Protective Intelligence Agent? CUAS from SA and UD, as well as administrative, professional, and technical ranks:
And this is all from their .gov site.

Could we possibly be misidentifying this as an FBI badge when in fact it may be a SS badge?
Yes I refer to Greg Nichols not Nicols!
Great research! I’ve been in and out running errands today, so haven’t had time to dig further.
As for white shirt’s badge, I think you are right, and that might make HIM Josh Box, but I’m not sure about that. The thing I’m still a bit confused about is the difference between USSS CAT and Counter Response Team, if there is one and the terms are not used interchangeably.
From Wikipedia:
This appears to be a CAT Uniform, again having a badge suggesting a higher rank. However, that’s not a Special Agent Badge.
The CAT designator we have for Box came from the BuC Detail Plan. They may have confused CRST for CAT., if there is a difference.
This guy could also be Box. He’s a Special Agent and appears to be intently interested in finding Crooks. CRST?
This is what I have in Uniforms for Rev. 13.
I remember these two guys.
Michael Yon vs Doug Mills
compilation video
Michael Yon tweeted it on Twitter:
“Wow…I see this video only now. Doug Bullet-Trace Mills smells off…. New York Times is famous for fraud.”
You are awesome! Thank you. I cannot wait to compare!
Seems the neon shirt has a front emblem that says ‘FIRE RESCUE’
Does the 13 in the center indicate Station 13?
The letters on the top portion of the emblem that we see are ‘SPEC’
Thanks. That would be Prospect Borough.
Nice!
Thanks to @StellaUC we have our SQ400! Now it’s just a matter of finding which county, city, borough or township owns it.
Edit: Upon further review, this.
My eyes hurt…haha
Still edited but not nearly as much.
I still cannot believe my eyes.
I will share after I crop.
At the bottom of the Recognition Tools slide deck, I have a page for each county listing their local municipalities supporting the rally. There are a lot of them! Being rural west Pennsylvania they don’t have big cities, and some departments only have a few officers, so it takes a lot to put a county ESU or SWAT Team together, and to support other law enforcement and emergency medical services for the rally.
