Stop Feeding Your Children to the Beast

It’s one of the large draw backs of living down under. Cost is on another level, but still not as bad as NZ from what I hear.

I’ve always found it cute when American YouTubers remark on the high price of timber.

Another draw back is sheer lack of numbers in anything alternative to the main stream.

Thanks for the reconfirmation that the gutenburg project is useful. I haven’t accessed myself as I’ve found everything i need so far in reprints.

This sounds so wonderful, that this even exits says alot of the popularity.

From what I’ve seen in my regional area, by far the most common is following an online Christian based system, completely unschooling, or doing a state/international curriculum at home. Unschooling being the most cost effective, but not my cup of tea.

In a positive light thanks to convid, homeschooling has fast entered into the main stream, who knows where we might be in another 5 year’s?! I find this very hopeful for the next generations being born.

In the campground where our summer home is located, last year, a family who home schooled their children were literally kicked out of the campground for not sending their children to public school.

A couple showed up a week ago, planning to leave 9/1. I had a feeling they home schooled and asked them if they did, and they said yes. I told them DO NOT tell anybody, and if asked at the end of August, just tell people their school doesn’t start until later.
