System Failure: What's Coming & Actions You Can Take

No More Water

Did you guys all see this? Mississippi looks just like the rivers in the EU. No barges and no water.

Just now getting a mention from MSM. Most mentions are old shipwrecks, etc. NO SUBSTANCE.

Love Seeing Your Farm.

I love your farm. How do your Belted Galloway do? My hay guy has some and finds his have a lot of problems. My father (cattle guy) recommends crossing with Main Anjou.
Joel Salatin is all about improving soil with pasture and cattle. I’m a horse girl on a small piece of land, but would love to start farming. Maybe farming with horses? Cornell small farms Youtube channel has some good videos on using horses for farming.

I think he addresses this in his crash course.

Certified organic was NEVER about healthy food. If you want that, buy directly from SMALL, local farmers. Organic was designed as an expensive checklist scam that would allow factory farms to sell food to idiots that think a certification means anything.
Look in the Whole Foods cereal aisle. First ingredients are sugar, fat, salt, then, maybe somewhere down the line a little real food. And idiot affluent moms read “organic” instead of the ingredients list and actually feed the junk to their kids.
In WI, I can’t buy unprocessed milk from the Amish farmers - not “certified” healthy. Well, when was the last pathogen outbreak on Amish farms - the contamination all comes from factory farms, often organic or “certified” processing plants.
Grow a garden and get to know local farmers. Get to know a small, local butcher shop. You may actually find not only real food, but also a friend that may get you food when the food machine no longer fills the shelves.

Hi guys, this is late reply to this conversation. I’m just here for the “Great Taking” webinar.

ProOne make filters that are compatible with Berkey gravity-fed water filter systems. ProOne’s filter elements have been independently tested (unlike Berkey’s filter elements, apparently). Their filter elements were a little more expensive than Berkey’s, but easier to use (they don’t need priming), and they also filter-out fluoride!

This seems to be their website:

(I bought mine from an Australian distributor about a couple years ago).

Hope this helps,
Huey

Ps. Ok, I just watched this video… I now don’t know if I should trust ProOne/ProPur either… :frowning:
