The President and every member of Congress should be on trial for treason. They continue to get away with these crimes because their constituents are apathetic. If we hanged them all publicly, seized all their assets and every dollar from their families that profited off their crimes, left them penniless and destitute, ruined their family names and made sure these actions were taught and never memory holed, new criminals pretending to want to “represent” us would have the terrifying thought of the justice they would receive for attempting these crimes again.
Now it’s just wash, rinse, repeat the grift w new slobs and the existing lifetime grifters that voters never seem to jettison because of name recognition…

Chris and Evie, thanks for modelling what a healthy conversation between partners can look like when trying to decipher this left/right culture war stuff. Many men that I meet in their 50’s or so have confessed that they dare not touch certain subjects, or that their wives have forbidden them from weighing in online in a forum like this (or more likely fb) for fear of being outed for wrongthink. So they are resigned to exist in a stew of ill considered ideas and are perfect victims for the nudge units. As a recently divorced man, one of the top qualities in a prospective partner is cognitive coherence. As soon as I start hearing about white man=bad, or the convoluted mental gymnastics required to promote the alphabet-mafia talking points, the date is over. Unfortunately most of the eligible women in my area have some version of the mind virus.

Am i crazy to think that darpa or barda has scooped up all our facebook posts and etc for the past 20 years…and has now developed such an insight, that they can manipulate humans through psychological warfare…to a point where we dont recognize it, much less know how its done?
Id really like Chris to do a deep dive…because i feel that all the time,whether it was masks or covid, or trump cerangement syndrome, or now elon musk derangement syndrome, we are ALL beinf manipulated All the time by a fine Italian Hand(so to speak)

Re the young kids, Im not sure if its deliberate at this age, or a by product of how we live now…but its noticable…and stark in your face at the adult level. People are NOT normal…and the kids have Defiance, cant be shamed, dont care about punishment, and im seeing mire and more Cluster B issues in the ELEMENTARY grade level. Its not just me seeing it. And adults seem to turn on a dime, as Chris says, they go from normal to homididalin three seconds flat.

I have 2 facebook accounts, 1 for personal and 1 for my car parts business to sell on marketplace… I also have a personal cell and a business cell because I use the 2 differently they “Darpa/AI/ whoever” send me 2 different types of manipulation as if I’m 2 different people to the 2 different accounts… I also use the same email as my business facebook for my dummy X account…again I see my X browsing then feeding my business facebook algorithm… So yes its a thing… you are right… but on the other side its not all powerful or all knowing and if you are aware of it it not that influencing at all at least to me…“it doesn’t know enough to blend the nudging in my 2 accounts”
But most people don’t have 2 accounts, don’t see it and are not aware of it… my wife who is mostly awake…doesn’t quite get the tailor made nudging yet. She often tells me of stuff she gets in here accounts that she initially believes is true news, but seems to me to be BS propaganda nudging from a bot farm targeted explicitly for her to more her needle one way or the other…
If you like you can craft up a couple dummy Gmails, set up a couple facebook accounts and do left searches on one and right searches on the other and see it real time if you are interested… it better to use 2 devices though and not log on to your real accounts as device sharing and account sharing seems to connect the web and cross pollinate… but its interesting to see the deep states 2 different versions of me… one thinks I’m relatively normal with micro nudges, the other thinks i’m covered in tin foil and tries to incite me with massive ones…
there are gray man potentials here as well if you wanted to go there…

The Tesla thing is some kind of collective scapegoating psychosis. When they were shouting “shame shame” I just thought of burning witches. It’s the same thing throughout history. One’s guilt is transferred onto an innocent party. Christian theology puts the guilt of the human race onto Christ. As a Christian myself, I’m simply pointing that out. Guilt has to go somewhere.
When seen through this lens, the behavior actually does make sense. DOGE exposed the left’s true nature, it exposed govt excess and corruption. In the light of this unbearable exposure, these people were forced to either self-examine and re-think their view of the world and their own identity which is wrapped up in this view…OR…create a scapegoat. I’d love to hear Mattias Desmet’s ideas on this.

Spot-on description of Mississippi, where I lived for several decades. If you happen to mention to some of your New England acquaintances that one of your subscribers made this comparison, you might get to see an amusing meltdown.
Here is the iPhone challenge. Go to a room that doesn’t have a smart TV, or Alexa device, or anything else that could even remotely have the ability to listen. Close the door, turn OFF the phone, lay it down, and start discussing something you have never discussed before. For example: “Let’s move to Montana. Should we visit Bozeman or Billings to see what they’re like? Maybe we should find out about Montana taxes and state politics also.” And so on. Then, without talking about that same subject again, turn the phone back on and go about your day. Chances are quite strong that you will begin to receive unsolicited information about the subject you chose.

I think it is helpful to understand why many people do not like Elon Musk
When I told a family member that I was feeling positively about how DOGE was auditing the govt, their response was telling. They said, Musk cannot be trusted. He has lied many times in the past, publicly.
When I asked chatgpt how Musk may have lied publicly in the past, there were several significant examples given. Chatgpt made the comment that intention should be considered when labeling a statement as a lie but in some of the examples, it is difficult to excuse Musk’s statements as unintentionally lying.
Maybe chatgpt is lying. We know that occurs often. I think auditing the govt is an historic, huge step in the right direction. But I do understand why people may not trust Musk
