State and US Government Fraud On Parade
This image is now a permanent part of the internet meme set, and may well be responsible for igniting a political firestorm of biblical proportions.
As we covered with Mitch Vexler twice, the property tax scams are out of control and destined to fail. It’s nothing personal, just math at this point.
However, what is personal is having obvious and overt scams and frauds being perpetuated right in our faces with nothing ever happening to the perpetrators. The latest mega scam to be brought to our attention is the Somali-run “day care and healthcare” frauds in Minnesota, and they are infuriating.

It turns out that the Quality “Learing [sic]” Center has been investigated many times, and the state ‘auditors’ apparently found nothing wrong enough to suspend its operations:

Silver!
Well, Mr. Slammy showed up last night, which was as inevitable as the future complete failure of the SEC and/or CFTC to even look into it for appearance’s sake, let alone credibly and forcefully.
This isn’t ‘price discovery’, it is ‘price setting’, which is clearly illegal. But, what isn’t a complete fraud and scam in the US anymore, amirite?
It began with an initial pop higher, but then a patented Mr. Slammy rug-pull with ~ 50 million ounces of trading happening within just 15 minutes:
After that was digested for a short while, another 30-million-ounce Slammy run happened over the next hour from 1 a.m. to 2 a.m.
And, of course, no Mr. Slammy outing would be complete without a typical 8:00 slam-o-rama:
This was clearly a coordinated, all-out attempt to rescue one or more Big Banks that had gotten in trouble.
Obviously, legitimate price discovery does not completely swamp all available trading bids in the middle of the night during normally thin trading hours. This is fraud, pure and simple.
The problem, of course, is that everybody knows this now and the US is busy destroying its own markets for the sake of bailing out a few banks that deserve to lose their shorts, in every sense of the word.
But, here in clown world, the prudent get punished, and the scammers get rewarded.
Remember to try and act surprised when the whole thing implodes someday due to all the fraud.
Remember, it didn’t have to be this way.
