The Signal Hour: The Age Of Consequences Has Arrived

I partially agree. At this point, it’s just speculation, but at least a reasonable concern. There are plenty or historical instances and old stories of someone exploiting the access they get from boldly and effectively addressing or appearing to address a serious problem to get themselves in a position of inappropriate power.

@Quercus-bicolor-2: The funny thing is, I 100% agree w/ your concerns. In discussing the place we are with friends, I’ve said I am both gratified and terrified. Gratified to see the unskewing of the corrupt system and the outing of criminal conduct, yet terrified that it is being done by fiat, by executive orders. What other choice do we have when taking on the deep state and the built in bias? Yet what risks are we incurring by allowing a President so much unconstitutional power? Is there a plan, once the scales are balanced to return to the rule of law? History shows that once power is taken it is rarely returned. But the ongoing and obvious abuse of power for decades is so overwhelming that it outweighs the risk of future abuse, to me at least. That said, if you are ever in Savannah, swing by and we can have a panic attack together.

@mattsUsername,

The link right at the top of the first post of this thread has the link back to the main page for this post with the video embedded in it.

About 1/2 way through it. Definitely worth watching and discussing.

Another nuanced and at least mildly critical take worth considering:

It has to be completely torn down in my opinion. New agencies can potentially replace what is critical, down the road, but there are huge issues with all of the current actions.

How do you prevent the corruption from going underground as it did during the fall of the soviet union?

Will anyone be held accountable? If not, whats to prevent this from happening again?

How do you avoid “The surgery was a sucess but the patient died” scenario?

Where do the cuts stop? Whats the fallout and blowback going to be when areas closer to home atart to get cut… things like medicare and medicaid and social security?

Is 2 trillion in revenues going to offset the growth in the debt bomb? No way! Its barely going to pay for STAR GATE.

Thank you, the problem is that the link doesn’t provide a recorded video once the livestream ends. The only option is to go to the comment section, it says something to the effect of, “the live stream has ended” and only a link to the comments is on the peak prosperity site until about a day goes by, then the peak prosperity website link you mentioned will render the recorded video. In the meanwhile, after the live stream ends, the only way to see it is to watch it on a video platform like Rumble directly, if it was live streamed over Rumble to begin with. That’s what I’ve found in the past.

I share some concern about the POTENTIAL for corruption to harm our society via DOGE access to payment systems, etc.

But for now, I am so furious with the status-quo regime that I am happy to burn it all down.

And I fear that Trump/Musk must have struck some sort of “deal” with Israel. The Gaza genocide is continuing, arms continue to be delivered, additional “anti-Sematism-and-hate-speech” laws are appearing.

Corruption is being rooted out EXCEPT for the Israeli Lobby. Competing corruption is being rooted out, but not the core corruption.

I’ve been concerned about this: If societies are complex systems with unpredictable behaviors, does the Trump team understand the potential results of their radical changes? Obviously, some of these are much-needed changes, but it may not be the best to do too much too fast. Then again, this may be the only way to do it.

In addition to the retaliation from the other side, this is another unpredictable aspect which mean a bumpy ride ahead. I’d like to hear Chris and the tribe’s thoughts on potential outcomes, changes affecting seemingly unrelated aspects of society.

I don’t think proof is even needed that there’s an army of bots herding public opinion in sites like reddit. If it technically possible and there’s enough money for such operations from certains organizations and billionares (both true) then it’s a given.

I’ve visited reddit for many years and since 2016 or so the front page (/r/all) has been horrendous. I don’t go mainly for the political content as it is only partially relevant to me (US issues are global issues to some extent), nor do I care that much about Trump but I can see the putative “front page of the internet” is vomit inducing. Reddit is only good anymore for niche interests.

Yes. It seems though, that Trump really doesn’t want killing.

Thank you for posting this Tucker - Mike Benz link, @quercus-bicolor-2 .

Benz takes a very interesting and unfamiliar position. He both supports the revealing of the excesses of the USAID funded monstrosity, but he also is aware of the way that this “nonsense” done by the USAID is a part of the US projection of soft power, a factor the keeps the US lifestyle comfortable.

And example: Milton Friedman used the example of a pencil. No one person or one location can make a pencil. The gum comes from Malaysian gum trees, the graphite from x, etc. So if the US is going to have pencils then there must be a BLOB mechanism to pressure suppliers of each component. The US must have global soft power to ensure a supply of pencils in America.

Another example: 2 million dollars to fund transgender dance festivals in Bangladesh. “What, this is crazy!”

But what happened is an anti-US PM was elected in Bangladesh who is not willing for the US to build a huge military base to counter China’s influence. It is in the US interest to have this PM replaced in the next election or in a color revolution. So USAID takes proposals about which NGOs and population segments will oppose the current PM and begins to strengthen them. Well the trans community is universally against the current PM and as people come out as trans they shift political affiliations and votes.

So the USAID doesn’t care a bit about trans people in Bangladesh, but uses this population segment as a part of a broad program to vote out a PM that is not allowing the US to build a military base in Bangladesh.

Same with hosting rap concerts. They find that the segment that likes rap votes a certain way. They nurture alliance with this voter segment by hosting rap concerts. Then later, by funding the rap group activism.

Sure…here’s what I wrote in response to a similar comment but in the subscriber area. It can apply here too, so I’m reproducing it to add to the conversation:

I simply don’t see it [Fitts’ and Wolfe’s worries and warning about DOGE and Elon] that way.

There’s a revolution underway and I’m in for it. Here’s some common ground we can all agree on, hopefully.

1 - the prior blob was both evil and incompetent.

2 - The trajectory they had us on ended very badly, without any question at all.

3 - Whether Trump was the spark or it was something else, it was all going to end someday anyway.

So it really didn’t matter “who” or “what” was the initiating spark in terms of it undergoing violent, disruptive change. To me the only difference was if I was going to spend the end-times in a concentration camp or being part of attempting to surf the waves of damage and then (hopefully) be in a position to contribute to the rebuilding.

I see some people out there have simply hopped from Biden being bad to a weird “Trump is going to be even worse!” mantra. Fitts and Wolfe come to mind.

FWIW my assessment is that they are either addicted to the ego-boost that comes from being the bearer of bad news (so they have seamlessly hopped to the new apocalyptic message), or they haven’t properly assessed the changes happening all around them.

Do I have it right? I dunno, but my greatest superpower is the ability to change with the data and the times.

These are revolutionary times. This is 1776. Everything is once again up for grabs.

It does no good to suggest that we’re really going to regret throwing off King George because the new guys might be worse.

The evil demons are on the run. Current belief systems are being shattered. New ones are being born and old ones are resurfacing.

I will not agree 100% with the new general’s decisions. I don’t expect to. I need to agree with slightly more than half of what they do to lean in and be part of the movement.

Fortunately, they are actually batting about 95% for me at present.

To suggest we should all, instead, be fearful of what the new bosses might do, is paralyzing thinking. We need to be fleet and nimble. We’ve got to do everything we can to stay on top of a moving avalanche of change.

And, keep our heads on a swivel and alert if things seem to be heading off the rails in the future.

What I see is this; Team Trump came loaded for bear, they had a brilliant plan to smash the deep state, it’s proceeding so well it’s surpassed my wildest dreams, and it’s going to break a lot of things. The most important of them is the lingering residual trust some people still have in our government and main institutions.

Once that’s broken, our faith-based money system is at risk, which means everything is at risk and things could get dark.

But…it was going to happen anyway. This time it can happen by intention which means we can properly diagnose the damage and more smoothly move past it.

But it could get rough.

Plant a garden.

Trump’s aversion to killing (that I see) and recent strengthening of the 2nd Amnendment are good omens.

Oh boy. Going to disagree with you on this, Chris. I see people who are being consistent in their messaging, and are warning about things that are deeply concerning - things that have long been discussed on this site. I get the sense you don’t want anyone raining on the parade that has started under Trump.

Time will tell, however, I will continue to take into consideration all views of those I have followed & respected for years, which of course includes you as well. It is too early to tell how things are going to unfold.

Most excellent post Jan. CAF is a dot connecter with consistent messaging. She clearly states the problem and backs it with extensive data. Yet she ends on an optimistic note by offering solutions. Putting her in the category of being addicted to an ego boost or not paying attention to the changes happening around her is seriously not a good look.

CAF is really good at some stuff, horrendous outside of her expertise. She swore up and down the nano bots inthe vaccine were connecting to bluetooth. She jumped to the conclusion that an earthquake in Indonesia (i think that was the country) was created instead of realizing that they were able to predict it. I love her to bits but she jumps on some pretty goofy theories.
