Health

A recent study from Yale has found that the spike protein from COVID-19 vaccines can persist in the body for up to 709 days, potentially leading to chronic immunological suppression and autoimmunity. The study, which involved participants with post-vaccination syndrome (PVS), found significant differences in immune profiles compared to healthy controls. These findings suggest a need for further research into the long-term effects of COVID-19 vaccines. The study calls for a reevaluation of vaccine policies and practices, advocating for informed decision-making and accountability from health agencies. Experts caution that while the findings are intriguing, they do not conclusively prove causation between the vaccine and chronic conditions, and the study’s small sample size limits its generalizability.

Relatedly, the Trump administration is reportedly considering halting COVID-19 vaccines for all age groups due to safety concerns. Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, nominated to lead the National Institutes of Health, has supported a petition calling for the mRNA vaccines to be paused and retested. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is also prepared to stop the vaccines if data supports such a move, citing concerns over their safety and effectiveness. Opponents argue that halting vaccines could lead to a resurgence of the virus, emphasizing that the vaccines have been instrumental in reducing severe illness and death rates.

In other news, the Arc Institute and NVIDIA have unveiled Evo 2, an AI model capable of writing genomes from scratch. Trained on 9.3 trillion DNA base pairs, Evo 2 represents an advancement in genetic code design across all life domains. The model excels in identifying gene variants linked to diseases and offers applications in drug discovery, agriculture, and biotechnology. Evo 2 is publicly available on the NVIDIA BioNeMo platform, providing researchers with tools to explore biological contexts and design synthetic genomes. This open-source model aims to empower the research community to build on its foundation, creating an “app store” for biology. While the technology promises significant advancements, ethical concerns about biosecurity and the potential for misuse have been raised, highlighting the need for international guidelines on synthetic biology.

US Politics

Elon Musk has proposed a “DOGE Dividend,” which would involve sending $5,000 checks to American taxpayers using savings from the Department of Government Efficiency’s cost-cutting measures. This initiative, which Musk reportedly discussed with President Trump, aims to incentivize labor force participation by requiring recipients to be net payers of federal income tax. The proposal comes amid reports of government waste uncovered by the DOGE initiative, including unspent COVID relief funds and fraudulent unemployment claims. While some view this as a potential economic stimulus, others criticize it as a political gimmick that may not address the root causes of unemployment.

Meanwhile, President Trump has ordered the termination of all U.S. attorneys appointed during the Biden administration. Trump stated that this move is intended to restore what he describes as a “fair justice system” and to address what he calls the weaponization of the DOJ. This action follows the resignation of several Biden-appointed U.S. attorneys and is part of a broader effort by Attorney General Pam Bondi to address DOJ lawyers who do not support the administration’s legal arguments. Bondi has also issued directives to investigate prosecutors involved in cases against Trump and to pause funding to sanctuary cities. Critics, including Democratic leaders, argue that this move undermines the independence of the Justice Department and could be seen as an attempt to install loyalists, potentially influencing ongoing investigations.

Commerce Secretary Lutnick has confirmed that the Trump administration is considering changes to the IRS. This proposal is part of a strategy to reduce government spending, with the aim of lowering tax rates for Americans. The administration plans to target foreign entities that currently avoid U.S. taxes, such as cruise ships and foreign alcohol producers, to balance the budget and cut taxes. However, critics warn that abolishing the IRS could lead to significant revenue shortfalls unless alternative revenue sources are identified, potentially increasing the deficit.

Geopolitics

Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed openness to meeting with Donald Trump, emphasizing the need for thorough preparation by both Russian and American diplomatic teams, particularly regarding the Ukraine crisis. Putin reportedly praised the Trump administration’s openness compared to the previous Biden administration and highlighted the atmosphere of recent talks in Riyadh. These discussions aimed to rebuild trust between Russia and the United States, which Putin sees as crucial for resolving the Ukrainian conflict. Trump’s recent criticism of Ukrainian President Zelensky aligns with Russia’s stance on the conflict and may encourage a potential summit between Trump and Putin. However, some U.S. politicians and foreign policy analysts express skepticism about the potential for a quick resolution to the Ukraine conflict, citing the complexity of the issues involved.

Turns out:

All the people in in the “control group” were vaxxed too.

Once again, “they” are comparing two sets of vaxxed people - ones who had post-vax symptoms, and ones that did not.

What would the CD4 count differences look like if the “control group” were unvaxxed?

The Yale LISTEN study points out that 42 people with post-vaccination syndrome (PVS) have a large number of differences in common compared to 22 people who got the COVID shots and who didn’t develop problems.

Now how in the world did “Awesome AI” miss this critical detail?
Gee I wonder.

ONCE AGAIN, no control group is studied.
No doubt because it would make the vaxxed look even worse.
