Why stop with being a free speech absolutist? None of my civil rights are negotiable. This includes my 2A rights. Until June 2022, the case law from SCOTUS regarding 2A was a bit sketchy.
Trump has racked up some interesting records. He is the first convicted felon on track to be “President Elect” (the real presidential election is next January). What is most funny to me is that the “left” can’t comprehend why so many people voted for Trump. They can’t understand that most Americans don’t want communism, woke bullshit, or policies that make our standard of living more expensive. There are also people, including me, that see Trump as a political Molotov cocktail. We fucking hate woke politics, the destruction of Western Civilization, and rich elites impoverishing their fellow citizens. They should stop now because rope is cheap and light poles are strong.
I look forward to seeing people lose their shit on social media over the next 4 years. Their tears and screams of frustration will bring me many hours of schadenfreude every day until 2028. Eat shit you woke mother fuckers and leave me alone. The Carnival Barker will be in charge soon. Go practice some introspection first before expressing your frustration and anger on how I voted. Think about why I voted for the same candidate for the last three Presidential elections, and you might get some enlightenment.
Start watching about 10 minutes in. It gets interesting around the 11 minute mark. How well did he do with his visions? This video was released about 7 months ago.
These Mainstream Propagandists are like Judas Goats. They are spared from the slaughterhouse until they are no longer useful. They live a life of leading “the herd” to the meat grinder with lies, gaslighting, and shame. I will only find peace if they end up performing $5 fellatios on lonely truckers at truck stops to make ends meet.
I linked the America This Week Election wrap-up podcast elsewhere, but the the thing that really stuck with me was Walter Kirn saying that there is no arguing with the Woke Left types anymore.
He advocates simply ignoring them from now on because “we are doing something else now” (paraphrase)
I want to believe this. We are just moving on from a very dark social time towards a better social time (even if a worse economic time)
Taken together, the US Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution describe both the purpose of government and the means by which the government is conducted.
It is one of the main functions of government to protect the rights of the people.
We should be grateful to Elon Musk for his role in defending the right to free speech. We also need to recognize that the government has completely and utterly failed in its responsibility to protect this right. And recognize that the government has even actively worked to violate this right.
Meanwhile the “mainstream” propaganda machine can only lament that Trump won because across the people in all the demographic groups that voted for Trump in record numbers are uneducated (read: not college educated) mysogynist, racist imbeciles.
Just watching a recording Harris’s concession speech. Biggest boatload of hypocritical shit I have ever heard. Well, outside of Canada… which says a lot given how things are going up here
If we assume that the results of the election in 2020 are super duper legitimate then we can assume that 15 million Biden supporters succumbed to the vaccines, while only 3 million Trump supporters accepted the narrative.
But im leaning to the case that there was alot of printer action and illegal stuff in the last election. Now I want to watch the video and bask in the relief that this clear result has left with me. Im sure my blood pressure has reduced substantially by the outstanding repudiation of the crazies and their lunatic destructive policies of the past 4 years.
Be fair about Kamal’s lack of concession reactions. You forgot she’s a puppet and her arrogant masters NEVER considered they might lose. So they didn’t write her a concession speech to read off her teleprompter. She wasn’t allowed to say anything until they wrote it for her.
BTW did you guys notice she said:
you didn’t vote for this
you all must fight
never give up
Doesn’t that sound like the sound bytes MSM continually replayed from 2020 Trump?
To be fair, in lots of Blue voting locations (I worked at one) the workers were absolutely dedicated to doing it right. At least in the final Swing “swing state” (WI) I think most polling places were more concerned to BE, as well as appear, accurate. We also had volunteers that showed up to help process the volumes - in front of each other and watchers. We checked and double checked and had the counts to the city in reasonable time.
Now, I wasn’t in Milwaukee/Kenosha (too close to Chicago to be pure) or Madison where sending out double mailings of absentee votes didn’t get anybody fired. Even there, I hear probably better than previously.
My husband is a college professor. He has a student in class this semester (albeit one with some learning challenges) who asked how to spell “winter”. College-educated doesn’t mean anything anymore, especially when college presidents of Ivy league schools can plagiarize and keep their jobs.
EDIT: My husband’s English dean colleague also shared students arriving with a 3rd or 4th grade reading level. That is supported in a recent Candace Owens podcast. Below are the horrifying statistics she shares of students’ lack of proficiency in math & reading via the National Assessment of Educational Progress (~25 min. 45 sec.):
State statistics (percentage LACKING in math/reading skills):
CA: 90% lack both math & reading skills
NY: 85% (math), 82% (read)
IL: 86% (M), 85% (R)
TX: 84% (M), 89% (R)
MD: 86% (M), 80% (R)
SC: 90% (M), 87% (R)
Just prior to these statistics, Owens shares a clip of an NAACP rep. saying how bad their population is performing in these basic subjects. You know it’s bad when…
I’d be interested in some kind of broad “skin in the game” rule. If you’re proposing legislation of some kind you are first in line to be impacted by it. Seems hard to do, but it would nip much of the instinct towards misbehaving right in the bud.
Glad to tune in to what’s going on and find a decisive W for Trump. Less craziness than I had feared. I also had a wonderful night camping yesterday with no election stuff on my mind. Probably would still be camping today…but I wasn’t paying attention when loading the van this morning (80lb battery for a solar generator) and tweaked my back. Doh!
In France, the president-elect starts the next day. My understanding was our forefathers didn’t conceive of that possibility with our geographic spread, which is why there’s a lag between election and swearing in. With a carriage at best, especially in the winter months to get from far-off states to the capital, an earlier start was inconceivable back then. However, with so many pre-election assassination attempts, hopefully, Trump and his team will consider hastening that date for future presidential elections. I’m on pins and needles until (minimum) Jan. 20.
On the whole, a positive turn of events. Was expecting more of a drawn out mess, as in 2020, and as in Arizona, NV, ME. Not yet aware of any riots or anything amiss in NYC. Have seen no shops boarded up, unlike in advance of the 2020 elections; Portland disorder stopped fairly quickly.
Perhaps the mandate is real and mighty and the would-be tyrants had a small reality check and recognized that they can’t do they tyranny thing without the consent (no matter how delusory) of the majority–and they don’t have a majority. They bled support everywhere. Plus many of their faithful are quite objectively insane and incompetent–and as Sun Tzu may not have said, “Armies of idiots don’t win wars.”
Let’s see what if any change happens, or can happen, in Swampville come January. (What we don’t want: “Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.”) Naturally we all expect more curveballs: the Lizards are fighting for their tarpit lives – and Alethophobes can’t survive sudden exposure of the truth. (Fittingly, the WaPo’s mutant form of “democracy” dwelleth in darkness.) Every day is damned interesting. Good to be alive.
