Haven’t watched it yet but my inclination is that it’s about the petro dollar, not oil, per se. VZ was trading oil with China and bypassing settlement in US Dollars. To the Deep State, that’s an unforgivable offense.
Not to mention that the VZ central bank was owned by the state. Not Rothschild controlled like most of the world. That, also is an unforgivable offense.
I suggest you read this and re-assess if it is all about the oil.

As a follow-up to this article, I feel honor bound as a Californian to mention the now-shuttered Mountain Pass mine(s) that were the world’s leading source of rare earth minerals like neodymium until the mines were closed by “market forces” in the early 2000’s.
