US Forces Allies to Choose Sides on AI, Armstrong Predicts EU Breakup and Collapse of Republican Gov't

Geopolitics

Martin Armstrong’s models project Democrats will take the House but not the Senate in the 2026 midterms, followed by Republican gains above 70% in 2028. He also forecasts an EU breakup after 2029, the Ukraine war ending by 2030, and the collapse of republican government forms by 2032. Armstrong stated that China and the West are using proxies to deplete munitions stockpiles and does not expect a near-term stock crash.

Russia’s Defense Ministry reported intercepting 822 Ukrainian drones overnight, with roughly 600 aimed at Moscow. The strike hit a Wildberries warehouse in Podolsk. Since mid-July, 20 Wildberries warehouses have been struck. Ukrainian sources reported that strikes caused extensive damage, taking multiple large logistics hubs offline.

Artificial Intelligence

A draft State Department letter reviewed by Reuters states the United States will inform 35 countries that they cannot belong to both U.S. and Chinese AI coalitions. The letter warns that joining Beijing’s framework will end participation in Pax Silica. Kazakhstan, the only known member of both groups, reportedly prompted the action. Xi Jinping launched the World Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Organization in July. Critics described the U.S. approach as a loyalty test in a resource competition rather than genuine cooperation.

Meanwhile, a robotic phlebotomist named Aletta is drawing blood in European hospitals using AI-driven ultrasound to locate veins, insert the needle, draw blood, and apply a bandage. Reports indicate 98% of patients said they would use it again. Concerns have been raised about potential displacement of U.S. phlebotomy jobs estimated at 130,000-140,000 positions.

Health

The BMJ Public Health journal retracted a 2024 paper that reported over three million excess deaths across 47 Western countries from 2020 to 2022 using Our World in Data. An institutional probe at the Princess Máxima Center found no fabrication or falsification but stated the paper gave disproportionate attention to vaccines and lockdowns. Three independent Dutch experts wrote to the BMJ that the retraction was disproportionate and raised questions about political interference. Professor Ronald Meester of Vrije University Amsterdam stated there is no scientific reason for retraction. Lead author Dr. Saskia Mostert resigned after the decision. Defenders of the retraction noted that the paper was purely descriptive and risked misleading the public by implying unestablished links to vaccines.

In other vaccine news, Colorado surveillance data showed four of nine secondary measles cases in a recent outbreak occurred in individuals with two documented MMR doses, according to a CDC MMWR report. RT-PCR of urine specimens detected the virus in some vaccinated patients whose nasopharyngeal samples tested negative. Analysts noted the Edmonston vaccine strain has not been updated since 1954. Other analyses have affirmed the MMR vaccine’s approximately 97% effectiveness after two doses based on large studies and real-world data.

In gut-health news, a study published in Translational Psychiatry analyzed blood, saliva, and fecal samples from 200 adults who completed the Self-Report Psychopathy Scale-Short Form. Researchers at the University of Porto reported no clear link between individual microbial diversity and psychopathy scores. However, higher abundance of the gut genera Allisonella and Prevotella, along with the species Cloacibacillus evryensis, correlated with higher scores on callousness, manipulation, and impulsivity. Higher levels of oral Treponema vincentii showed a negative association. The authors proposed inflammation, altered emotional processing, and Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid production as possible mechanisms but noted the findings are correlational.

Education

Former Nashville Teacher of the Year Samira Hardcastle resigned after administrators changed a student’s grade following a parent request. Her resignation letter described the action as grade fabrication. Separately, Overton High math teacher Diana Wills was suspended after refusing in writing to convert failing grades to Ds and is suing the district. She stated, “Statistics are being skewed to protect the district, not our children.”

US Politics

Recent autopsy findings on Melissa Casias, the Los Alamos National Laboratory administrative assistant who went missing in June 2025, showed a gunshot entering the base of the skull and exiting the left temple. An anonymous law enforcement source described the angle as physically improbable for suicide. Her case is part of a reported cluster of eleven dead or missing personnel tied to nuclear and aerospace programs. President Trump ordered an FBI review.

BMJ Retracts Excess Deaths Paper Over Politics, Not Errors

There is no scientific reason to retract. Retraction is bizarre in this case, there is nothing actually wrong with the paper. Hence the real reason must be political.

I would not bet against a Martin Armstrong forecast. However, current trends are showing a blowout for Democrats in both the Senate and CONgress. It will be interesting to see the what happens but the trend picking up steam is the anti-Israeli lobby backlash and the Dems are playing that card to their advantage.

A parable about an economics professor in the classroom.

Teacher Fails Entire Class:

An economics professor at a local college made a statement that she had never failed a single student before, but had recently failed an entire class. That class had insisted that socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer.

The professor then said, “OK, we will have an experiment in this class on this plan”. All grades will be averaged and everyone will receive the same grade so no one will fail and no one will receive an A…. (substituting grades for dollars — something closer to home and more readily understood by all).

After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B. The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy. As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little.

The second test average was a D! No one was happy. When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an F.

As the tests proceeded, the scores never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else.

To their great surprise, ALL FAILED and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great, but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed.

It will be much easier to wage this war of attrition with multipolarity if there is “opposition” in the legislature. The D’s in charge of one half of the legislative branch will excuse the lack of reform in domestic affairs. There is no meaningful legislative opposition to the various wars thus far, and they will carry on.

I do wonder how the “Basket of Currencies” monetary powers will react. It appears there will be a big Communism/anti-Communism rehash of the 1950 - 1990’s era.

Monetary powers are already publishing their tracts and plans to roll out “Special Drawing Rights” within their select basket of currencies to establish private central banks as the exchange rate setters for the world.

Tension with the U.S. dollar system war machine might play out in some lame soft power riots, etc. Internal divisions will definitely be stoked here in the U.S.

“But for the [opposing party] you would have [basic functioning country]”.

This is, once again, short-sighted policy from a state dept with waning power. Forcing countries to choose sides may work in the short term through coercion amd bribes but it will breed resentment and fracture relationships over time. And for some countries, it will likely cause them to go all in on Chinese partnerships and abandon US AI.

If the U.S. AI companies offered real value instead of ultimatums, we wouldn’t need to force loyalty.

I am waist deep in book 3 and doing much research on Nero my thought is that when power demands loyalty, it reveals insecurity. But when power offers value, it reveals confidence.

When Chris says to plant a garden, I think more and more it’s about the quality of the food we eat even more than the availability of it. And don’t underestimate the learning curve involved in producing, preparing, and storing food properly. A farm wife from days ago had a full time skilled job, just not one that was acknowledged.

If the Iran war is labelled a “loss”, then Trump will be killed or impeached and Netanyahu will resign in shame. I believe the 1973 Yom Kippur War is a relevant template, broadly speaking, for this current era.

An October “surprise attack”, the Israeli counter attack, “defeat”, Israel’s leader pushed out, U.S. president impeached, and the petrodollar arrangement (a U.S. dollar commodity exchange paradigm) magically established in the midst of all the war and political noise.

In broad strokes, that looks like what we are seeing with this Iran war.

So uhh will monetary powers mean like ““markets”” that despite claims, it is not fully objective… tilted some way for some currencies to help markets… and some governments.
Im thinking algorithms. Shady thing “nobody knows how they work” but we have to live as slaves to them.

Never gonna happen. No way.

Golda Maeir was shown the door after the Yom Kippur War. I bring it up because the parallels are rather close between the 1968-1974 period and 2022 to the present day.

Monetary powers = Bank of International Settlements, International Monetary Fund, Bank of England, European Central Bank, World Bank, etc.

These are private entities, shielded from the laws of nations by special laws and acts bestowing immunities and privileges.

The folks running these private entities represent the principle interests driving a lot of what we see developing as de-nationalizing industrial civilizations, abusing terms of investment and lending to implement social policies that, for example, undermine family structure.

Their central goal, as far as I can surmise, is to reduce all competing power structures on the planet to be subsidiary to monetary power and its selective application of credit and control of rates of exchange.

That’s exactly it.

Being shown the door and resigning are two different things.

I suggest you tune in more to Alastair Crooke, who has commented a fair amount on what Netanyahu might do. In this conversation, he indicated he thinks the odds are increasing that Netanyahu will pull a Zelensky, cancelling the fall election to retain power. As Crooke said, it must be remembered that once no longer PM, Bibi is highly likely to be jailed. So there is no way he will resign.

We talked our pastor into letting us run a monthly practical self-reliance class where members of the congregation who have practical skills (mostly the older generation) spend 1.5 hours explaining, and then doing some hands-on workshops, to other members of our church. The public is invited to come, and sometimes random people from the neighborhood will show up. This month we’re running a 100% hands-on canning class: both water bath canning and pressure canning. Am praying for that extra row of San Marzano tomatoes that I planted to ripen on time, otherwise my church family will be canning broth, not tomatoes, as we’d hoped. Am so glad I found a church with a constitutional scholar for a pastor, and a gardener/prepper for his wife.
